Pros: I've had this for over a year now and absolutely love it! the build quality is excellent and the cord is nice and soft but still very strong.
Cons: nothing really, the cord could be a little longer
Other Thoughts: im going to modify mine a bit to make it wireless with some parts i have laying around.might even buy another one and modify it to let me control the camera using my computer wirelessly so i can set the camera up outside my house and take pictures of the stars/planets from inside
Bottomline: great product, would buy more if i ever needed extras
Pros: this remote shutter fits perfectly my sony alpha 300. plug it in the remote door and, with a good tripod, your photos will be finally free of shakes! remote shutter button can be pressed half-way to activate auto-focus and exposure setting and then all the way down to take the shot.this inexpensive gadget will allow you to use the b-pose, unleashing your low-light creativity!materials are quite good, better than expected.even colors match my alpha: black and bright orange!
Cons: no. keep in mind that wire is about 50cm. long so you can't use it for self-portrait. buy the longer varsion if you need it!

Bottomline: I repeat: it works! save your money and buy this instead of a branded one!
Pros: Works well with my Sony A200, just open the plastic flap and pop it in. The build quality seems very good, it has a nice feel to the product. If feels much more expensive than what I paid for it.As stated in another review, you can half hold the button to focus and you can lock the button down to if you're shooting something such as fireworks on bulb mode.
Cons: None that I can think of for this product. Short cable maybe, but that's not really a problem for me as I only use it to keep the camera steady when taking pictures on a tripod.

Bottomline: Buy one, You won't regret it!
Pros: Useful for the Sony alpha A100, plugged in easily, handy for using if you have a light portable tripod and pushing the shutter on the camera itself will shake the camera, or when you might jiggle it. Also handy if you don't feel like wrapping your hand around the camera all the time. In M mode can be used to take unlimited length exposures (Bulb Mode) with the slider allowing you to let go of it.
Cons: none really, not long enough to use for getting yourself in the picture, but then that's not what it is designed for.
Other Thoughts: lets you push down halfway to autofocus, i was worried it wouldn't let me
Bottomline: Definitely worth buying, even if you use it only once, just the for knowledge that you have it.
