Pros: Works like a charm, the price is great. Feels solid in the hand, and the button action is solid - the wire seems like very good quality, it's quite flexible and doesn't put any pressure on the camera as you move the remote around...There is no reason to not buy this
Cons: the cord could be a bit longer
Other Thoughts: Works perfectly with my Canon 1000D/Rebel XS - I can see how some would find the cord a bit short, but it's very workable. - I use this when taking high-zoom pictures with a tripod. It's a great way to avoid camera-shake.
Bottomline: Have a camera? get this - now.
Pros: This shutter is rally well made and useful. It can completely replace the camera shutter as it has 2 shutting ways, light pressure for camera auto functions and shot to take pictures.It has a hold system to take shots with very long expositions, that may be useful if you do astronomic photography or very low light photography.
Cons: It happened once that the hold accidentally blocked the button and the camera become non responsive, i needed 10 min of troubleshooting to find that the hold was blocked.
Other Thoughts: I am very happy with this product, i always carry with me in my camera bag.
Bottomline: Good product at very competitive price.
Pros: This is a great add on for your Canon EOS 450D. I find this a very usefull product. The cable is long enough for me because I use it for Macro photos. Incredibly cheap compared to the original Canon product. It works exactly the same.
Cons: Build quility is less good then you get with an original. I can imagine that some user will find the cable a bit short.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Great deal for a remote shutter. You can't go wrong with this one. The build quality is less the an original Canon product. I couldn't care less because it works perfect for me.
Pros: - Great price- Works just like the official Canon remote- Good feel/grip in the hand- Good build quality
Cons: - I could not find any cons with this product.
Other Thoughts: - Some people complain that the cord is not long enough, but I find it to be just right. If a longer cord is desired, an extension cable can also be found on DX.- Build quality it noticibly less than Canon's, but for the price I couldn't care less. It's still very good quality and nothing to shy away from.
Bottomline: - If you need a remote a campatible Canon camera, just buy this. It's a no brainer and you won't be disappointed.
