Pros: I have owned one of these for over a year. Until the ink ran out about month 10, I used it daily for my PDA (stylus), writing, and the LED torch. The torch still worked after a year, so the original batteries are good.

Cons: New Australian laws (July 2008) made this now an illegal import because the laser pointer strength is over the new limit. Laser Pointers >1mw are now illegal to import without a permit. (see customs.gov.au) My shipment of ten was seized and destroyed.

Other Thoughts: Australian Customs were very good about it and chose not to prosecute me for breaking the law, accepting it was an honest mistake.
Their media release says: "Under new Customs regulations, which began on 1 July, hand-held laser pointers with an emission level greater than one milliwatt (1mW) are prohibited unless prior written permission has been granted. At best, anyone who brings in these devices without a permit will have wasted their money because their goods will be seized and destroyed. At worst, they will face prosecution."
They did agree to remove the ink refills (which was the main reason for my purchase anyway) and forward them to me at no extra cost.

Bottomline: Great product, but sadly, no longer for importing into Australia! Maybe dealextreme will bring one out without the pointer? I love having the stylus, pen and torch in one unit. So convenient!

Pros: Great pen, writes well, good feel. The grip fits really well, then again that's just my prefereance. The laser is very bright and actually FOCUSED (something that is not very common with cheap lasers)! The LED is actually quite useful as well, I expected it to just be an extra unecessary feature, but it is bright enough to be used regularly. Comparable to any good LED keychain.

Cons: clip fell off the pen, does not hold well. Will glue it in there, but I fear the clip itself will break in half anyway, it bent very easily.

Other Thoughts: Comes with an extra set of batteries!

Bottomline: Great value, BEST pen purchase EVER!

- The pen is made from good quality and lasts long..
- The laser + LED are very nice additionals!
- Laser is realy strong for something like this!
- Price/product rating is super..
- Extra batteries!

Cons: - My first pen came damaged (the ballpen didnt work) i got inmediatly a replacement!
- Sometines the laser + LED dont lasts long.. so get extra batteries if you like to use this longer then 1 week!

Other Thoughts: Great service when my pen was DOA, DX sended a free, quick replacement!

Bottomline: Get it!
Its nice and works well for the price, you wont be dissapointed!
And you can use it with a lot of things, and its fun and you can play comfortable a NDS!
