Pros: -cheap-simple to use, unless you want to display games on the tv-good build quality, doesn't seem like it's gonna break
Cons: -the PSP doesnt output games through composite cables (like this one), only though component cables. My TV doesn't have a component input so I bought this one. I was told I can use an unofficial plugin called FUSA to output games to my TV with this cable, but I haven't had the time to figure out how to do that yet. Anyways, this is all Sony's fault, but to output games with this cable, it is definitely not plug and play.
Other Thoughts: It's cheap, and easy to use except for TV output of games.
Bottomline: I'm glad I bought it and I plan on learning how to output games.
Pros: It works very well for viewing videos on TV (tube TV), and listening to audio that is inside the PSP. There is even a software onthe internet that emulates the option to make it work with gameson TV, but I think it is very slow.
Cons: It does not natively allows you to play PSP games on TV, the build of the cable is ok, and the PSP conector does it´s job, but the TV conectors really lack of quality and sometimesthe conectors have to be twisted to make contact (not the S-video one, obviously). I think it should be on the description of the product that it is not supposed to work with games on the TV.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: It works, but I think it should be on the description of the product that it is not supposed to work with games on the TV. And the TV connectors should be as good as the PSP connector.
Pros: -It's a psp av cable that works just how it's supposed to.-The design of the unit I received is the one from the oficial product, and it even seems goldplated on the connectors.-Not a bad price for what i've seen.
Cons: -Somewhat bad build quality up close. The connector protections are plastic that isn't very well assembled. They all feel solid and won't break anytime soon I suppose.-You should be aware that you can only see the PSP menu (XMB) and anything that is inside this system (Video, Music, Browsing...). In order to get ANY video game experience outputted, you need custom firmware and homebrew applications for the PSP, like "FUSA". You still get a pretty bad picture and very poor framerates with this appllication. ---It's not the cables fault though--- this issue is due to PSP software and hardware limitations, you should just know that if you want to play games, get component or D-Terminal cables, whichever you can use on your screen.
Other Thoughts: Buy only if you know what this does. Playing games is allways best on component or D-Terminal cables.
Bottomline: Decent cable for the price. Does what it's supposed to. Not more, not less
Pros: this thing is insane i mean im a 2000 psps owner and i b out to be a 3000 pspowner because of my 2000 is brokenbut this is a good built av /s-video
Cons: no game output without custom firmwere3000 psp owners can in 720 by 480pthats why i getting a 3000 get a pspget a psp get a psp
Other Thoughts: PSP IS THE ULTIMATE MEDIA DEVICE
Bottomline: GET THIS CABLE ITS A GOOD PRICE AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO SPEND $20.00 DOLLARS WHICH IS OVER PRICE $5.56 IS EXCLUSIVE
