Pros: Good sensitivity - works fine from the glove box or under the radio on the dash.Seems to be pretty standard with how it works, so any software that can talk to BT devices over a com port can talk to it! Pretty cool to watch where I am on Google Maps using third party tools that talk to the GPS unit. Also has indicactor lights, and is easy to charge (USB).
Cons: USB is only for charging, not getting GPS data.THe build quality is very average, but it doesn't feel like it's going to break. It just feels and looks a bit on the cheap side.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Fully functional BT Gps!
Pros: really small size, very good sensitivity, ease of use - all programs works with default settings
Cons: comes without wall outlet charger, so you have to charge it from usb or from car cigarette lighter socket.
Other Thoughts: i have read that other complains on flimsy switch, but i don't think that this is an issue. mine looks sturdy enough.
Bottomline: i have tested it with pc and pda (wm2003). both works good with different programs and without single problem.this device is a great addition to my gadgets. thank you dealextreme!
Pros: The gps-reciver is fast in startup and syc with the satellites. It uses a standard Nokia BL-5C battery pack, wich makes it easy to have a second batterypack ready if you feel like to have an extra one. The BL-5C are cheap and easy to get hold of. It is charged through a mini-usb connector = you can use the cable that is supplied or a charger for mini-usb for car etc.
Cons: The only little drawback is that you can't use it through the usb-port, this means it is only charged through the usb and doesn't communicate through it.
Other Thoughts: I have been able to connect it to a SE K750i, but haven't found any good software. It runs perfectly with my tablet pc with the PC Navigator 6, so I can have a 12.1 inch navigator.
Bottomline: A perfect match for a device wich can handle some good gps-software and has bluetooth connectivity.
Pros: Very useful product, does what it should!Works well with the phones I have tested: Nokia E51 and the N82Fast detection, and fast fix on satellites - faster than my inbuilt GPS on N82!Should work with other symbian 60 phones.Easy setup, just put in the pin "0000" and it will work!Tried with Nokia Maps, Garmin Mobile XT - all working great which is why I wanted to get this.
Cons: The switch seems to be a little loose.... as with all the other reviews i've read. but it doesnt seem like its going to fall off so it should be ok!
Other Thoughts: It's very small. Small enough to fit in your pocket, very light as well!
Bottomline: I recommend getting one of these. For the price, its a great bargain! Cheaper than the nokia GPS receiver!
