Ownership verified by DX Great product for the price

Involvement: General (knows how to use it) - Ownership: more than 1 month

Price: starstarstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: It has worked for almost a year of hard wear and tear.

Cons: Cheap plastic feel but as I said it is working.

Other Thoughts: My dog has chewed on this and the housing has cracked after being stepped on so you really cant ask for much more than that it is starting to act strange like charging the laptop and not the battery and getting hot, but after what I have put it through I am actually getting ready to buy another one.

Bottomline: If you need a charger for $17.00 this thing is great and I imagine if you treat it right it can last longer than the laptop it is charging.

Pros: It works. Used it for a craft-robo CC200-20 at 24V and it is ok.
Even the plug was adequate to my region (France). Voltage selector is ok too.

Cons: Plastic feels a bit cheap, but it's ok.
I couldn't find a matching connector along those provided for my Dell Latitude E6400.

Other Thoughts: Didn't measured voltage output but generally it's not needed to be very accurate, voltage regulation is on laptop side.

Bottomline: It works, but if it's for a Dell Laptop, you'll need to find the plug elsewhere. But those provided should cover most usages.

Pros: This one was cheap price and works as described. The extra tips are nice.

Cons: The build quality is pretty poor. Mine stopped working after a few uses. Opened it up to find pinched wire and ac socket not seated properly. Thought it would be an easy fix. Not so the problem was the ac cord had on of the prongs lose (the appear to be glued in not soldered. Replaced ac cord and has been working okay since.

Other Thoughts: The price is reasonable and would make a okay spare.

Bottomline: Bottom line,
Reasonable price for it and does the job but quality is not the best I have seen at Dealextreme.

Ownership verified by DX Good quality, excellent value for money!

Pros: - excellent build quality
- has enough plugs and voltage settings for almost any 15-24V piece of equipment
- uses standard PC power cord
- can be used almost anywhere in the world

Cons: - would be nice to have half-voltages i.e. 18.5V, 19.5V etc

Other Thoughts: The build quality is very good, and I don't just mean 'very good for something from DX'. The ability to use a locally sourced PC power cord means you don't have to use the included (USA?) power cord or buy an adapter.
Only one minor change I'd make is to allow a few more voltage settings. Quite a few laptops are 18.5V or 19.5V. I use 18V on my Compaq Presario C710TU (rated 18.5V) and it works fine, but it would be nice to have the extra settings ... but it's not a big deal considering how inexpensive this PSU is. A great deal!

Bottomline: An excellent backup laptop power supply, or replacement - way cheaper than OEM!
