Pros: - works with my iPod touch 1G- extremely easy to connect to my Nokia BH-601. The first time it connected took less than 5 seconds- great sound quality transmitted. I also used the transmitter that came with Altec Lansing BackBeat 906 headset for comparison - the MSI dongle has a LOT less noise than the A.L. dongle- came with a little silicone cover!
Cons: - the build quality is only OK... the flap that covers the mini usb port is not made of rubber as it usually does, so it does not "click" in place well- the bluetooth transmission sometimes gets interupted momentarily- VERY poor battery life. I've charged the unit several times already. Each charge last no longer than 3 hours. You better have multiple chargers ready to bring with you or a wired headset for backup- low volume. I need to listen to my songs at a higher volume as displayed on my iPod. The Altec Lansing transmitter, though has worse sound quality, does transmit the songs at higher volume at the same sound level
Other Thoughts: very nice unit... i don't think the battery issue is due to a defective unit, since the Altec Lansing one last not much longer
Bottomline: i almost want to say it's not worth the money just because of the short battery life... everything else is great except for the ridiculously short battery life :(
