Pros: Good compromise to transform a internal IDE DVD recorder or hard disk into a external one to connect to notebook or desktop.
The size of case is more or less similar to external dvd from famous brand.
Assemble with dvd or hard disk takes few minutes and respond good to computer connection.
 
Cons: Maybe the price must be some dollars less.
The power connection in the back of case maybe can be a little bit better.
The fan continue working if the switch in the back is on, also with computer off.
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: Overall the product can be ok for home use.
