Great product for a great price

Pros: Nice aluminium case, this keeps the disk cool. 
Fast transfer speeds.
Small size makes it handy to take along.
I used this case to "recycle" the 40GB hard drive out of my click wheel iPod that did not work anymore (unhappy iPod face) 
Cons: Supplied cable is very thin and long.
I use a thick, short USB cable that I had lying arround.
The sides are chrome plated plastic, this looks a bit "cheap". 
Other Thoughts: Got an old click wheel iPod that doesn't work anymore?
Get this case! If the hard drive is still OK you'll get a very smal portable hard drive to take along. 
Bottomline: Great product for a great price!

Pros: Designed for ipod 4th gen hds

slim, aluminium design

fast transfer rate

feels like it will last

Cons: hd is tight fit. requires all the foam and rubber around the hd to be removed before squeezing into the case. taking it out of the case is a little tricky, need to open both ends and push out with the handle of a butter knife or something like that.

provided usb cable is a simple usb to mini 5pin usb. in nearly all cases, this doesnt provide enough power for the hd.  this case here has the right cable, but is for 2.5" drives http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.669 
Other Thoughts: perfect storage solution if not for the usb cable. 
Bottomline: Worth buying if u have ipod hd
