Pros: This knife is well built. Has a nice weight to it. Everything seems to be constructed of metal. Seems quite sharp when I cut a box apart. Comes with a pouch. Shipping for this item was incredibly fast. Must be good stock levels due to its popularity.
Cons: No negatives. I suppose if it was a little cheaper even more people would buy it.
Other Thoughts: I've never owned a knife like this. It has a nice smooth action when folding it out.
Bottomline: You can't go wrong with this knife I think. It has a nice build quality and definitely a feeling of class.If you have some spare money and a use for a knife I'd suggest to get one of these. You won't be disappointed :)
Pros: -First of all the delivery was great...less than a week from Hong Kong.-The build of this knife is brilliant. Feels really sturdy in your hand.-Blade came pre-sharpened. I bought the knife sharpener too with it and made it a little sharper. When i was removing the excess bits from sharpening, i ran the knife along my jean pant leg and it cut straight through with very little pressure.-The pouch is exactly what you'd expect and exactly what you need for it. Perfect size, decent quality and useful belt loop.-The lock will not come undone when its in place.-Finally its a very heavy knife which is perfect for me because it just makes it feel better in your hand.
Cons: -Absolutely none...except that i didn't buy more!
Other Thoughts: -I bought this as a replacement for a knife i gave my girlfriend while she goes to Malawi for 5 weeks. That knife cost £25. (Approx $40)This cost nothing compared to that but the quality and blade quality is exactly the same.
Bottomline: -Perfect knife, don't hesitate to get this one if you're looking for an excellent knife.
Pros: Good size, good weight, locking mechanism works solid. This knife is not flimsy, even has a Gerber logo but probably not the real thing, the only way that I could tell is because (1) the price and (2) blade is a little stiff out of the box, will probably loosen up with some grease and some time.
Cons: No cons, especially at this price. The blade could be sharper. But considering I was looking at buying a $60 knife at a local store, and i am now happy with this $7 knife, its a great deal
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: This is a good quality product at a fraction of the price I would pay for it. Now that I have it and have played with it, I would easily pay $20 for it.
Pros: CHEAP!!! Overall the knife doesn't feel too bad, especially given the price. Feels pretty sturdy and hefty. Very good for the price!!!
Cons: The blade is not very sharp out-of-the-box and has a slight side-to-side wobble. The knife is difficult to open (very tight) and somewhat tricky to close if you're not paying attention (can easily cut yourself).
Other Thoughts: Um....that's all
Bottomline: Buy it, buy 3. Toss 'em everywhere (after sharpening and lubing of course); one in the car, one in the kitchen drawer, one in the garage, one in your pocket, one in your fishing kit....You can't go wrong with this one!
