Pros: Its really cheap!Games work nicely, allthough it's hard to start playing winmine as I always hit the mine with my first move :(Micro sd slot is a really good con! It only accepts upto 2gig cards but thats enough for me.The battery lasts several hours.Supports folders! It has tempo rate! And this doesn't change the pitch of the sound.Microphone picks up sound nicely from short range, good for recording notes ect.Its made of cheap plastic, but its still "well built", much better than the clip on 1gb mp3 player. The screen is bright and clearThe intergrated USB wire is really nice!ALso has a speaker! yeah I didnt know this. Better than I though, clearer than my cellphones speaker. You have many repeat options;normalrepeat oneFolderrepeat folderrepeat allrandomand intro. You can also see song replay times, and set replay gap.It has 25 laguage options! YES! 25!english, trad chinese, japaese, korean, french, german, italian, dutch, portuguese, spanish, russian, arabic, thai, swedish, danish, Czech, polish, slovakian, croatian, hungarian, romanian, turkish, slovenian, hebrew, and simple chinese. I've tested a few of these and they work.
Cons: My player got emptied twice, and I needed to format it. Maby I pulled it off the USB plug without stopping the device first, maby its the MP4 player hardware that failed, dunno.Switching songs isnt fast.It now displays "charging" icon all the time even when its not plugged into my computer. It gets kinda slow when you fill the memory, though it only accepts the startup.Fm radio is weak, and only some of the channels work. I only found one listenable radio station.Sometimes it may just turn off for no reason, even when it has some battery left.
Other Thoughts: There's also fadein and fadeout effects when you switch songs. This could be a pro or a con.I havent tried of adding videos yet.It has these games:Winmine (minesweeper)Bricks (tetris)Boxman (you push a box around in a labyrint)Color bead (You try to form rows with 3+ beads with the same colour)
Bottomline: Im not disappointed at all in this mp4 player, not for this price! It has alot of extras which is really suprising for this price!
Pros: A nice looking small MP3 player that fits nicely into your hand. The USB cable is built into the back of the actual MP3 player itself which means you don't have to carry round extra cables to plug it in.Plug and play, i just plugged mine in and dragged and dropped files to it and it worked perfectly.Expandable there is a micro SD slot which means the memory can be increased.Built in speaker
Cons: Mine when straight out of the box was in Chinese. I am not Chinese and it took me around half an hour of changing every setting on the player that i managed to change it to English. The buttons are quite firm and after a while hard to press.Does not actually play MP4 files but AMV, there is however a converter given but the video quality isn't as good.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: A good small AMV and MP3 player reasonably good quality images for a small screen. Not a bad price for a 1GB+ video and music player.
Pros: Good storage size for a really nice price.Accept expansion with a 2GB Micro SD.works over 5 hours with full battery.nice as a gift.
Cons: Only accept one video format, maybe usefull only to small videos.Earphones are very fragile and has short wire. Maybe with some more inches it would do.The software know what a file is, put do not work with them, only show to the user which one is the music that is played is.
Other Thoughts: I had one that I gave as a birthday present. Then I bought another one to myself. Both are working well so far.
Bottomline: Probally it is better to have another earphones insted of the ones that come with. But it´s a good player for its price.
Pros: -A lot of memory for the price-micro SD slot, gives cheaply 2GB more memory-Cheap-Pretty nice main window-The player looks cool from the outside, and build quality is nice.
Cons: -FM-radio doesn't work in Finland (in the touch screen N608 it did, so don't know what's the reason)-All the other apps except for the main menu look ugly and are hard to read (too full of stuff). -All the apps (music etc.) are also apps of their own, so the player shows an unbelievable ugly dos-type "initializing" blue-gray screen always when starting any of the apps.-Can't play music while doing something else (e.g. sys-settings)-No Hold button-Can't play music while plugged into computer for charging-NO SHUFFLE! Which is absolutely annoying while music is hard to navigate in the player, while you always have to change the folder through the extra menu.-CROSSFADE between all the songs! >> makes changing the songs annoying while you can chance the song only once in a few seconds >> Getting from the first song to the 100. takes about 3 minutes. =S
Bottomline: You get what you pay for. Maybe good for a teenager and for a listener who does not want to choose the song which to listen, but just listen the songs in the alphabetical order.
