This unit charges 10440/14500 batteries fine and it has auto-off feature to prevent battery being over-charged. It just works.

Ownership verified by DX Works OK if you can get battery to fit

Pros: Reasonably priced charger for my 14500s. Works well, charges to just under 4.2V, although not sure if this is the protection in the battery or the charger. Apparently this is a good voltage to balance longevity of the battery (lower voltage, more lifetime recharge cycles) against capacity (higher voltage at finish means closer to being full capacity).

Cons: The biggest problem is the size of the channel for the battery. I bought some sku 3435 Trustfire protected 14500s in the same order, and they would not fit. I had to use a knife to scrape out part of the plastic to allow the positive end of the battery some room getting it in and out. Even then it's still a tight fit.

Other Thoughts: I'm guessing that unprotected batteries, which are supposed to be shorter (?), would be less of a problem in this charger.

Bottomline: Reasonably priced for what it is, just be prepared to struggle a little bit with the extra length if you're using protected batteries.

Pros: Charges 14500's just great.
Auto shut-off so it doesnt over charge.
Good build quality.
Comes in a protective clam.

Cons: Only charges two types of batteries.
A little expensive compared to the RCR123 charger. I bought from DX
no other cons for this price

Other Thoughts: 14500 chargers retail for alot more than DX offer so save your cash and buy this one its a steal.
Alot of 14500 chargers cost way more than this one and this one is just as good ;D

Bottomline: Does the job well!
Build quality is good !
Has auto shut off so no over charging
Cheaper than most 14500 chargers.

Ownership verified by DX NICE PRICE, GOOD QUALITY!

Pros: It is one of the items that deal extreme could be proud of. It comes with a very reassonable price and the built quality is good. You will not face any problems with the quality and it can be of use in several cases. You can buy more items for your friends as a gift and you won't dissapoint yourself. It is one of the items that Deal Extreme can be proud for selling! I am always impressed by the variety of items that deal extreme is selling, and that one have passed the quality controls for sure!

Cons: Not really

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: Consider buy more than one for your friends! Works fine for me.

Ownership verified by DX Good, but limited in purpose

Pros: Charges 14500's just fine (does what it claims to do).
Auto shut-off (no overcharging).
Good build quality.
Comes in a protective clam-pack.

Cons: Only charges two relatively rare types of batteries.
A bit expensive compared to the RCR123 charger I bought from DX (that works just as well).

Other Thoughts: While this seems a little pricey for a charger sold on DX, I can assure you that it is a great price compared to what 14500 chargers retail for normally.

Bottomline: A good, seemingly solid product. Perhaps not the most multi-purpose piece of equipment. But if you need 14500's or 10440's charged, this'll do it
