Pros: Charges 14500's just fine (does what it claims to do).Auto shut-off (no overcharging).Good build quality.Comes in a protective clam-pack.
Cons: Only charges two relatively rare types of batteries.A bit expensive compared to the RCR123 charger I bought from DX (that works just as well).
Other Thoughts: While this seems a little pricey for a charger sold on DX, I can assure you that it is a great price compared to what 14500 chargers retail for normally.
Bottomline: A good, seemingly solid product. Perhaps not the most multi-purpose piece of equipment. But if you need 14500's or 10440's charged, this'll do it
Pros: Great charger. Charges 10440 and 14500 type batteries, and does so properly. Auto-off when charging complete, so no need to worry about explosions that burn down the house. Does it's job very well.
Cons: A bit pricey considering it only charges two types of batteries. I'd prefer either a lower price or more types of compatible batteries.
Other Thoughts: There was the remains of a half-torn away sticker on mine that was difficult to get off.
Bottomline: Good product. Sturdy and no-nonsense. If you need to charge either 10440 or 14500 batteries, this is what you need.
Pros: This is a no nonsense specific charger in charge of charging only 10440 and 14500 cells very accurately. LED indicators very useful to determine the battery charging state.
Cons: Expensive for a dedicated duty charger. For such high price, no LCD trhown in.
Other Thoughts: Before buying this charger, like mose people, i read forums and reviews and comments before deciding on this charger. Some are afraid their house will burn down due to 'exploding' batteries etc etc. So complain till the sky fall about loose contacts from multi-chargers etc etc. For ease of mind.... but pain of wallet.... buy this and get on with life.
Bottomline: Bite the bullet, pay a little extra, get this dedicated charger. Leave all your "fear of exploding batteries" ( try this: BattaBoom phobia) and overcharging behind.
Pros: + Very compact design.+ Nice pearly silver color.+ Works perfectly on 230v too!+ Can charge a single battery too.
Cons: - Protected 14500's barely fit. Must use force!
Other Thoughts: Handy little charger that does the job well.Too bad that protected 14500's don't fit verywell and you really must force them in. (maybe the manufactorer can improve this?)Good value for the money. Works perfectlyand looks nice too. Charges pretty fast.
Bottomline: Just buy it, you won't regret it at all!
