This battery are the ideal battery for flashlight BRYNE . There are more flashlights out there that take this battery, but I do not know what they are. They are basically Li-ion rechargeable battery in 3.6V and AAA shape. AA version can be found here.
Pros: - very good batteries...- 10440 lithium batteries are lighter and more powerfull compared to normal AAA...- rechargeable... so many times... - really cool blue casing... - ideal combo with http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18630 ...- i am using them daily...
Cons: - not protected... - one has died... but it was my fault...
Other Thoughts: - i damaged one, i discharged it so much, that it was impossible to recharge it again...
Bottomline: - i think i will buy another pair of these...or get some for dx points;) nehehe
Pros: Suitable for any application you can set it to! I have been using a pair in my DIY blu-ray laser for over 2 months and still havn't charged them. The voltage is still above 2.75v which is as low as you would want to take these cells. Their voltage currently reads 3.85v. I will charge them soon for safety. They work superb in flashlights, lasers, Easily power my rc heli making the pack lighter, and it lasts longer than the stanard pack!
Cons: No cons at all.
Other Thoughts: I will be buying a few more sets of these.
Bottomline: Great value for a rare, expertise product.
Pros: The Ultra Fire 10440 3.6V 500mAh 2Pack is great for my Gilder, I use 2 battery and a BEC, as the size is small and light it is perfect for a 2-3 ft small slope and HLG glider.I may try using just one cell to lower the weight
Cons: Capacity is lower than the stated, normally they are over rated by 30%.
Other Thoughts: Please make sure the charger can handle size 10440, I am using the following chargerhttp://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4151
Bottomline: Will purchase more of the battery after some test flight if I can get some greate flight time out of them.
Pros: + They perform very well + Add an extra power to flashlights (if they admit it, be sure before use them!)+ Low price for just one 2-pack+ Short time to fully recharge (less than a hour with sku 4151) + You can save money
Cons: - No need to say the output is overrating by manufacturer (almost doubled)- Not protected, so be careful using them in flashlights with no battery discharge feature (as sku 891). No problem with sku 12062 or sku 11339.- Not an impressive runtime (around 20 min. at max output)
Other Thoughts: They arrived with 3.2v charge so were ready to use. Very useful for give your flashlights an amazingly power.
Bottomline: Though overrating output, they still are a good choice if you have a flashlight that can be powered up by these batteries. Try and get surprised. Worth the money.
