Pros: Works fine.
Works even in a long living room (unlike other more expensive remotes).
No driver needed, it is just an external keyboard.
No driver needed for linux either.
Cons: Fixed key mapping. See the other reviews for the exact mapping.
Haven't tested the software on the disk, since it works without drivers anyway.
Other Thoughts: Nice to use with MPLAYER (see the web site at mplayerhq.hu). Just tweak the input configuration file.
Note: mplayer may not see all the modifiers for the keys. Just open mplayer, press the keys and look for "xxx key not defined" messages, then go ahead and define the action for xxx in the config file. Note: linux may not see the keys the same way as windows.
I mapped << and >> to sub_delay to adjust the subtitles if they don't exactly match the video file, since the fwd/back function is already on the arrows and pgup/pgdn in mplayer.
Also, volup/voldn drives the sound card, while 9 and 0 drive mplayer's volume. Sweet.
Bottomline: Use this and any old pc or laptop that can connect to a tv or big monitor, and you get the most versatile media player.
Works with windows and linux.

Pros: The only IR receiver I have found around. WinXP detects it quietly and I can use with many programs without problems.
It works perfectly with Meedio, less well with VLC.
Cons: The remote is awkward, the keys are all equal and not apart, and is also too thin.
The receiver has a wide angle of reception, but the range is good.
The disk included I have not even used.
Other Thoughts: I have not tried the receiver with other remotes, but I hope works.
Useful for mediacenter and HTPC, even if the price is high for what it offers.
Bottomline: I recommend it if you do not find a better solution.

Pros: el mando es pequeño ,muy manejable , tienes bastantes botones.
encendido de media center o CyberLink PowerCinema (incluido y con su serial original) facil manejo incluye la pila todo muy completo
Cons: contras , no aprecio ninguna precio/prestaciones
