Anti-Shock Protective Laptop Bag (for 15.4-inch Wide Screen)

Pros:

- it fits tightly arround my asus notebook
- the zipper doens't scratch on the inside because there is a protective piece of cloth underneath it.
- it's great if you don't use your laptop for a while and want to store it in a clean place.

Cons:

- the material isn't very shock-absorbing. If you don't demand a lot from your sleeve this is the one to buy.
- i don't know how long the zipper will survive, it doesn't look very thick.
- i won't reccomend this product for people who are planning to take their notebooks in a backpack.
- your charger doesn't fit into it

- Cheap, fits perect for my 15" HP.
- Great for just grab and go!
- Material is light and top notch quality.
- Good for protecting against scraches.

Shipped with a bubble wrap. Good job DX! I can totally make use of that bubble wrap.

None I found. (That is if you are not looking for protection)

Other Thoughts:

Won't give you much protection, but it is great for you to put it in your backpack. I don't actually want too much padding, this is perfect for my purpose.

Bottomline:

Snag one and snug it! It's hard to find a comparable one elsewhere. The laptop case, reuseable bubble wrap cushioned envelope, and free shipping are combined to be the best 5 dollars I have spent! Great value!

Pros:

This case is very good value. Similar bags will probably go for at least $20+ at local computer stores.

Cons:

This case did not fit my 15.4" macbook pro well at all. There is a 1-inch gap inside the case when the case is closed. I was hoping that it would be a snug fit, but I guess not.

Other Thoughts:

This material appears to be some kind of layer nylon mesh. It won't protect against drops or anything serious. Get something else that has thicker padding if you want serious protection.

Bottomline:

Get it if you just want to protect it from scratches as it will not protect your laptop. Great value..but can't expect much for $5.

Pros:

+ snug fit for my Asus F3JV laptop, so that the laptop does not move around when carrying it in the case.
+ cheaper than the cheapest case I can buy in Australia

Cons:

- The walls of the case are a bit thin, so it does not offer very good protection from large impacts. However, it provides more than adequate protection against everyday use.

Other Thoughts:

The zips are located on two sides of the case, so it does not allow you to open the laptop whilst still in the case.

Bottomline:

Need a cheap and decently made laptop case? this is the product for you!

- Definatly cannot beat this price. Other than DX i have seen laptop skins go for less than $50-60 in stores.
- I like this nice black colour.. much nicer than the bright red, bright orange and bright green that is offered (but i suppose some people wouldnt mind the bright colours)
- Protects your laptop from scratches
- keeps your laptop dry when walking with it in the rain

Cons:

- does NOT protect your laptop from any hard knocks, drops or falls, only from superficial scratches
- extremely snug/tight fitting

Other Thoughts:

- They have completely sold out of this product, so there is no point putting your order in for anymore

Bottomline:

- was a great price. get the colours at this same price if you are not picky about colour

Cons:

Zipper only covers 2 sides of the bag rather than 3; so it only opens at a 45 degree angle.
There are no pockets to store anything.

Other Thoughts:

I use mine to put the laptop in my school bag and to protect it from other items.
It's not a carrying case; there are no straps and without anything inside it's very flimsy.

Bottomline:

At this price you can't go wrong for a little bit of protection.

If you just want one for using on the odd occasion to keep in your laptop bag (as these are quite thin and flexible when there is no laptop in them), get one of these. If you want to use something like this all the time, go for the more expensive one on DX.

If you want a little extra padding and protection go for one of these; it works great for taking my laptop from building to building at work!
