Super Mini Bluetooth 2.0 Adapter Dongle (Vista Compatible)

Pros:

Unit recognized on all but my Windows 8 consumer preview machine. Connection distance was far better than needed/expected.

Cons:

I disassembled one of the three that I bought because I'm soldering it onto an extra USB header inside my laptop. Based on the push-together assembly, I'd worry that the case would fall apart during long-term use on a laptop.

Other Thoughts:

With bluetooth so cheap, its surprising that virtually none of the OEM PC manufacturers include Bluetooth by default.

Bottomline:

Good device. If you're using it on a laptop, consider disassembling and reassembling with a drop of adhesive.

Pros:

I have been using this item for about 8 months. it's working very well. I had no problem with it.
it's very veryyyyyyyy cheap, but the quality is not cheap. it is better than you might think.

Cons:

There is nothing bad to say about it.
But it's black plastic cover was broken a few months later. But it was always plugged in my laptop so maybe that part hit some where in the laptop bag. but that was all, it was still working.

Bottomline:

You can't find anything better for this price. An eight by ten envelope was a little over the top for such a small item but it can easily be used again for personal needs. Not much else to say about this excellent product. Overall I am one happy customer.

As shown in pictures, the device is really small. I plugged it into one of the free USB ports on the back of the case and the drivers were installed automatically on XP and Vista......
I can carry it on my wallet with no problem...

Cheap, works just fine, it is very small. Most of the bluetooth is into the usb port, and just 1/3 is the black part out of the usb port

nothing important. Maybe a little box, or a keychain would be nice, but it would make it more expensive.

The usual software as others bluetooth. Sometimes is not so easy to use for a inexperienced. But you can easily sync with another bluetooth devide.

It is a very good buy. I recommend. I use this on my notebook with my cellphone, tablet... Just don't work with PS3.

Awesome - small, compact, almost invisible even on the front side of the computer housing. Installs automatically under windows 7, connects with all devices, even hi-fi stereo headphones, and the sound quality is good.

Cons:

Does not work under Mac OSX, causes other bluetooth devices to act weird. Does not connect devices under XP easily - even if it does, it can't communicate or retrieve available services from them.

Other Thoughts:

Very sturdy build, extremely small and rigid, as it seems. XP issues might be due to lack of drivers - will check it later, but it should be plug-and-play.

Bottomline:

Great, and I must repeat, great value for your money. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Pros:

I have syncronized it with my smartphone and a pair of Wiimotes without any problem (with a BT manager for the latter). The price is unbeatable.

Cons:

As a consequence of its small size and the lack of an external antenna, the range is quite low. If you want to communicate devices in different rooms, it probably won't be powerful enough.

Other Thoughts:

It may intefere (physically) with the connector of the USB cable/device at its side if it's wide enough. As simple as rearranging the cables.

Bottomline:

At this price, and if you just want to connect via Bluetooth while you are sitting in front of your PC, don't doubt and get it.

It is very small, no need to ever take it out of the USB. Easy to plug in and use.
It is very cheap.

Cons:

When it is shipped, it is shipped in a minimal plasticbag. So some of the buyers, might get a damaged one. But I bet DX has figured out how to not deliver damaged products.

Did not work as well with my phone, as I hoped. I can not send files from my phone to the computer, but it works from the computer to the phone. (might be because of Windows 7) But now I have it, and it can be used for my Bluetooth headset.

Bottomline:

If you do not have a Bluetooth in your computer, you need to own this one. Buy one for every computer you have. :)

Nice, small, cheap and very useful Bluetooth adapter is very easy to install, I tried it on windows 7 with 32 and 64 bit and dont have any problem. I had some problems when wanting to sync with my phone, you need some knowledge to add the devices from the windows. If it came with some link to download a free application to manipulate the devices was much better. In itself I think is a good product, has good quality and very cheap. Recommended

Pros:

Very easy to set up; just plug it into the computer (mine is Windows 7 x64) and the necessary drivers will install automatically. Its small size makes it easy to just leave it in a USB port and forget about it, or to carry it around when you need to.

Cons:

As I mentioned, it is very small, which means I quite often misplace it! It sometimes gets quite warm in the USB port. Do not expect a wide range. Other than that there are no major problems with the device.

If you need a simple way to add a bluetooth connection to your computer, you cannot go wrong with this simple little adapter.

Extremely small. Super cheap, you could buy like 10 in case you lose them. Nicely rounded so it wont get cough on things. Plug it in and it's good to go. It's built pretty solid too so it should last if you plug it in/out a lot.

It's really small and almost imperseptible to install it. It works very good and the transfer is stable. Its installation and depends heavily on your operating system. In my experience with XP went excellent.

As against the material I can tell I talk is not very good and has an attractive design as others saw greater cost.

Pro #1: INSANELY CHEAP! I've wanted a bluetooth dongle for a long time now, but I never wanted to pay the $25 just so I could wirelessly connect to something I already had a USB cable for. But for $2?? You betcha.
I don't use this very often at all. Just for transferring new ringtones to my phone using bitpim. It works great! Getting my phone to sync with it was a little bit of a hassle, but I think that's because Windows Vista's bluetooth settings are a hassle and a half, plus I'd never used bluetooth on my phone either. It only took 10 minutes of fiddling to get it to work though.

Cons:

None. This does exactly what I needed it to do, for 1/10 the price other vendors were asking.

Other Thoughts:

If you're looking for 2.1+ EDR or whatever the newest format is, you'll have to look elsewhere, but I'm sure this will work well with wireless mice and keyboards as well.

Fantastic price, great product. It's amazing that this item can be manufactured, sold to a distributor, packaged by a distributor, and shipped to my door from literally the other side of the world for under $2.00, with everyone involved making a profit.

Pros:

It is very easy to install (in Win 7), it is installed automatically. The connection with phones is working without problems.

The shape is good; although tiny, it is easy to be handled and you can always use your thumb and index finger to easily pull it out. (not so easy with those tiny ones)

Cons:

I couldn't send photos from my phone to windows "bluetooth manager", however this is not likely a con, because you would be using some special software for bt communication anyway (MyPhoneExplorer for Sony Ericsson and Android phones for examle, which works correctly)

Worked immediately upon plugging it in and rebooting on Windows 7, XP users may need to find some generic drivers.
I use it for my PS3 controller to play racing games and Skyrim.
It's also very small, which could be good or bad, but i don't plan to be taking it out all the time so losing it shouldn't be a problem

Plastic is kinda crappy, but it's not a big deal and i keep it plugged into the back of my PC so it's not visible

It is really light, compact, handy and useful. As my laptop does not have bluetooth, this little device makes life simple.
Easy to bring around to anywhere.
The rate of file transferring is reasonable too. My laptop is able to detect it almost immediately.
Able to transfer some photos from my phone to the computer within minutes.

Cons:

However, it can be lost easily due to its compact size.
-Took a long time to find it after misplacing.
-Attached it to my laptop and decided not to take it out.
-If left on laptop for too long, you will need to take it out then put it back in, before the computer is able to detect it.

Bottomline:

If you need to send files to your computer through bluetooth, you can consider getting it.
However, if you intend to transfer large files, then perhaps other way of transferring will be more useful.

Using bluesoleil these things are just crazy, I had a BT headset and my cell phone hooked up with my eeepc 900 in my work truck. I was able to get online with ventrilo and internet radio with this little thing.

Cons:

The range is poor and it works best with bluesoleil stack.
I gave a couple to my mom and she lost them on her flight back home while they were in her bag because of their size.

Other Thoughts:

As long as you know what you are doing, you can share internet, stream music, or play dolphin with these things. Bluetooth isn't the safest way of communication though so if you are sharing your connection with these, don't use banking sites etc.

Get a couple, its so cheap why wouldnt you?
