PSP Unbricker Battery for PSP 1000/2000 (1800mAh/3.6V)

Works very well.
The identification is clear.
Build quality is good, it doesn't feel like it's going to break easily.
I have unbricked many PSPs, both PSP-1000 and PSP-2000 with this battery.

as already reported, it works in both PSP-1000 and PSP-2000. You won't be able to close the cover of a PSP-2000 with this battery in it.
I think it's better to have PSP-1000 battery than a PSP-2000 battery, since you couldn't safely put a PSP-1000 with a PSP-2000 battery on a table without the battery falling out of it.

I had this battery for over 2 years. I used it again 6 months ago to "unbrick" (;P) a friend's PSP.

It took it more then 3 weeks to come was a little loos for my psp 1003 so i have to hold the battery while i was un bricking and installing the software. also hve to play around to charge it before i can use. look very cheaply made . i advert it say from use but it came from Hong Kong

3. Made for the original PSP models (100X series) but can be used on the 200X as well (be careful with the 200Xs, late models with the TA088V3 'boards are unhackable & inserting this with a magic memory stick (MMS) will give you an expensive, yet strangely beautiful paperweight!)
4. For the full 'magic', use it with a MMS.

3) Simple "Plug and Play" into your PSP. It doesn't take a genius to use this.

It is a good buy and you can use it to unbrick your bricked PSP. Please note that you also require an original Sony Memory Card to unbrick a PSP as well, and not only this battery. This battery along with the Sony Memory Card will help you unbrick your PSP.

Allowed me to fix and unbrick my old psp 1000. easy to use if you know what you're doing. Comes preloaded with the best cfw and easy to update as well.

Cons:

A little big for the battery port but works well and sticks just have to hold on to it in case it falls out. shipping took a little longer then I've expected for just a battery but at least it came.

The battery is simply the best pandora battery for it's price. It works fine and it actually fits for psp slim aswell, but all you got to do is to hold the battery in place as you use it.
Also the battery is very easy to use.

Cons:

It takes rather long to deliver. For me it took about 27 calender days for it to reach me. And thats the only thing that is bad about this product.

The battery is well labeled and there is no way one could confuse it for a regular battery. It does exactly what it is supposed to.

No problems with this unit. Getting the associated memory card built is a little complicated and requires some digging around on the net.

It just works like it has to work, I used it once and it worked like a charm, I didn't have any problem with it. Also it has the word "tool" written on it so it's a good thing to distinguish it from other psp batteries

this is a pandora battery, if you have psp 2000 or 2001 with firmware 6.20 or above and you want to downgrade your psp console to CFW 5.50 gen-d (for instance), all you will need is to make your memory stick a magic memory stick (lots of programs on the internet that do this) and follow a tutorial (youtube is crowded)

unfortunately, i bought this and my psp is slim model ¬¬
i had some difficult to fit this one on my console (it's slightly bigger than a genuine 1800 mah battery) but it'll fit with some effort

Pros:

Works just as intended. Fit perfectly into my Psp 1000 series and worked right out of the package - didnt need to charge. Looks just like the original battery that was in there, just the printing on the front was different and I also noticed the pandora battery was lighter than the normal one. Great price, no problems with it. Was able to hack the psp less than 10 minutes with it.

Cons:

Took a long time for me to receive it. Ordered it on 12/11/10, it shipped 12/15/10, and it didnt arrive until 1/10/11. Maybe it was prolonged due to the holiday or maybe its just slow shipping since it is coming from china.

Bottomline:

If your looking for a pandora battery to hack your psp (1000 series in my case) this one worked perfectly for me. Can't beat the price and as long as your okay with the long shipping time, I'd recommend getting this.

Battery was too big to fit in my 1000 model.
Once inserted into my psp.. it did nothing.
Tried charging it, re-inserted into my psp.. and still did nothing.
My psp wouldn't turn on to the recovery menu when the battery was inserted.

Other than the long shipping wait (21 business dys, but it was free shipping) and the deffective battery I have.. It was a good price.
If you want a pandora battery at a low price, just make sure that it works.

Firstly the battery did not give any charge (it later showed that the + cable wasn't connected). It did not fit into my psp 1000 because of a malfunctioning connector in the battery. I had to open the battery and correct the connector. After soldering the + cable into place and correcting the faulty connector, the battery worked as it was supposed to.
