Cell Phone Signal Blocker Pouch

Pros:

Its like a black Hole for any kind Handphone. If you put the handphone inside the pouch then will be blank spot of the signal. You can use this pouch as a normal pouch. There is two pocket inside the pouch for normal and for blank spot.

Cons:

great build leather. looks like expensive. I was bought just for fun. Magic trick for my friend. You said you can kill the signal with your mind. This is cheap more than jammer signal blocker.

Bottomline:

If you mad with your girlfriend then this pouch will be usefull... :)

Pros:

It works with my Sony Ericsson
Feels like good build quality
And again, it works!
Has good stitching, and the velco works well.
Blocks both GSM and 3G networks as well, so that's good.
Has 2 pockets, one for blocking, other for just a normal pouch

Leather feels kind of hard, not a soft kind
Very big, so my smallish phone feels kind of alone in there.. But that's all really!

It is perfect way to keep the phone with power on but with no signel outside (and to be in silance mode,is to be online).

The first I got has been came defected, however it was replased to new one in one week.

It can be usful for every product which need to be hushed in different area:
Gas station, Airplane , Hospital and were you need no radio but you want it fast when it needed

It is good product not only for mobile,and for that price it is perfect product.

I tried it on GSM and CDMA and it blocked them both.

Pros:

- Build quality is great: solid study stitching, does what its supposed to
- velcro holds the flap down
- contains two pockets: one "inner" one, where the phone signal gets blocked, and the "outer" one where you can store your phone normally, or other items
- large enough to fit any modern phone (provided you dont try blocking a huge cellphone from the 70s!)

Cons:

not the most stylish thing I've seen, but whatever

- blocked both of the different cell phones and different phone companies that i've tested it with, but likely wont block every single phone/company out there.

- cheap, good price, does what its supposed to. works well, recommended.

Pros:

Works as advertised, calls do not get through when you have this in the metal mesh pocket. Even better that there is a separate pocket that isn't meshed that you can store your phone in when you want to receive calls.

Cons:

It would be nice to see more stylish versions with this same functionality.

Other Thoughts:

I would love to see other cell phone holders with this functionality (particularly with two compartments). This technology with a bit more style points would be wonderful.

This may be a pro or a con based on your perspective - this unit does not appear to block bluetooth signals. (so you can listen to music from your phone while it can't receive calls, for example).

Bottomline:

Great value, even if you only occasionally would need this functionality, you can't beat the price. Use this device to recapture some of your life.

- Nice looking black 'leather feel' pouch.
- It works as described.
- Contains two pockets inside the pouch.
The blocking pocket is the one made of a golden coloured metalic fabric.
The second one could be used when blocking is not desired.
- Good build quality

Cons:

- Will not block all types of phones to 100%.
- Not a Con, however, people using it might think that it is a Con that the battery of the phone will drain faster than normal. But that is what will happen if the phone gets it's signal blocked.

Other Thoughts:

- I dissected a pouch to find out how it was made. The inner blocking pocket is made from a quite a sturdy fabric. The fabric is very nicely painted with a metalic paint. As the fabric consists of meshes it creates together with the metalic paint a mesh grid, which acts like a Faraday's cage.
Good quality - You can't tell it's painted unless you start scratching the paint off with a knife or similar.

Bottomline:

Works as it should. If you need to block the phone from being connected to a network this is a cheap way of doing it.

-Very cheap

This works great for me - as a case for the iPod Touch. The case is well constructed and smooth on the inside with an additional small pocket for a credit card, etc. It's perfect for protecting my Touch.

Great as a case for an iPod Touch - I can't say anything about its intended use.

- Tries to block signals.
- If it does, you wont get the standard "phone is shut down" but another one.
- seems very well sewn.

Cons:

- For me it wont work close to cell tower. (work is close, and wont work there)
- It has two pockets, the outter one doesn't block, and can be misunderstood.

If you aren't too close to a cell tower this is a good buy if you want to kill phone signals and become unavailable. I mean really unavailable, like if you're calling it, you get a message saying network is down. So you can actually blame the operator!

Bottomline:

Get unavailable in a few seconds, but watch out if you're too close to a cell tower. Its cheap so if you need this, theres no reason to not buy it.

design seals contents well, making 'leaks' of radio signals virtually impossible

Cons:

there is actually an inner pocket, you have to put your phone in the silver pocket - could be confusing at first.

Other Thoughts:

I use it to block the signal of my RFID transit pass. For my cell, it does what it says: by blocking the signal, the GSM network thinks my phone is out of reach when someone tries to call me, resulting in a message to the caller. After a few hours, the GSM network should accept your phone is off and thus treat it as such. It all depends on the network you are on.

In the restaurant business, you could use it to block a ringing phone someone left in the wardrobe without turning it off.

Bottomline:

A good product, hard to find and a relieve for those who need it. For others, it might be a fun gadget equal to building a shield from aluminium foil.

Works as described. When you put your cellphone in it will drain the signal to zero.

-No practical use in the US. The phone will still ring and go to voicemail so it seems as if you are ignoring the call.

I wonder if it will work as a passport RFID blocker pouch?

If your company plays a different message when you have no signal then go for it!

Easy to use, no understanding required.
Does what it promises.

Cons:

It will stress out your cellphone’s transceiver circuits.
Your cell phone will chew through its battery very quickly when it REPETITIVELY try to re-collect at FULL strength.

Other Thoughts:

More useful as an anti-spy gadget. Use to block all signals to/from your cell phone. Best to turn your cell phone off before using this pouch though. lol.

Bottomline:

It's cheaper and better to just turn off your cell phone when you don't want to use it. This will prolong the life of your cell phone and its battery.
