Jet 1300-C Butane Lighter

Pros:

-Nice, small, handy, can fit in your pocket and also come with a stand so it can stand up.

-The flame is nice and simple, not too big not too small.

-It feels nice to hold, and the cap is also really good, so if you're out hiking, camping or anything else outside, no dirt will get in.

Cons:

- The ignition button is a bit loose (I can push it around a little bit)
- The igniter button could be a bit stronger/better plastic.

Bottomline:

Really awesome, feels nice in your hand. Its light to carry and it makes a nice sound when igniting :D

Pros:

Works great and has a very hot blue flame. It is also very cheaply priced but was larger than expected. It can be locked on or off

Cons:

horrible plastic smell, small flame, hard to fill, plastic on sides of lighter get extremely hot with extended use. Locking off sometimes doesn't work

wish flame was larger, glad it comes with a holder to use when flame is kept on.

great price but has a very small jet flame. Has a bad plastic smell, but other than that is a great little lighter. I would not store in a backpack as the button can be pressed even when locked out.

Mine came empty, no gas inside so I couldnt test it! Further, I dont know how to refil it so it probably will not be usefull for me anymore.
It cames in a cheap plastic, no box and manual... But to a cheap lighter we cannot expects more than that.

I really would like to test it but without gas it was not possible. Maybe the gas leaks during the shipment.

The flame reaches a very high temperature, much more temperature than a conventional cigarette lighter

Its construction is simple so that it may be weakly with the passage of time or when used frequently and for prolonged periods.
Sometimes it turns to the first and you have to press the switch again, but that does not have to be a problem.

Buy it if you need to start a fire for a BBQ or even a fireplace... very good to burn incense bricks too. Just remember to adjust the strenght of the torch light or it will either be too strong or won't even work.

Powerful lighter. Excellent materials. The size is perfect (small). 20 seconds and can burn some metals and wood. Can lock for continuous use. Important to me, is cheap compared to others who perform the same function.

lightweight easy to use Its a nice looking apple for your desk. The quality and colors overall is nice. I use it mostly as decoration and it looks cute. It has a cheap price and it makes a good gift for an office co worker. no regrets at all

Pros:

I thought it was very small and compact like how a normal lighter is. Love the features on it such as the dual locking mechanism to prevent accidental triggers and to lock the trigger in place.

Cons:

The locking mechanism can be improved though. Had 3 sets but one failed after awhile. It couldn't lock. The trigger itself on that set also malfunctioned to which I can't trigger the flame.

2 out of 3 working is quite alright I guess. Hopefully something more sturdy will come out in the future.

I found it very easy of using. Being small you still can grab it confortablely without any problem.
The flame is constant and stable without fluctuations and the big gas depot with a very low consuption help to use it for long periods. Also the plastics don't heat really.
The lock slider switch helps to have a steady flame (or you can press the flame button constantley instead). The electric ignition is great and you get the flame instantanealy.

Cons:

The plastic could have been better. The plastic ring around the push button tends to move and get released easily if you touch it frecuently.

Bottomline:

It's worthy having this item by the price. Quality vs price are umbeatable and it works really nice.
If you need a small and portable torch, it's your item.

It is a great product, is very small and you can take it anywhere without running any risk to be flammable. I think the plastic cap of the nozzle is very inefficient because when you have used for some time the lighter, this nozzle is heated too much, afraid that if I put the cover, this is melted. In itself I think is a nice lighter, the price is low and fulfills its purpose, if you use it as a business tool is a very good investment. highly Recommended

its so hot - I can't believe how hot it is - melted a smint in very few seconds and other materials, ranging from pen lids and buttons to glass and my fingers!
It arrived quickly - less than a month, which is good from Hong Kong.

Cons:

Build quality could have been better, for example the button that triggers the flame fell off after a while, but what do you expect for that price? Also, the whole thing can get very hot - I hoped that the clear plastic gas chamber wouldn't melt!

Very comfortable to hold in your hand. The flame is stable. There is a special stand, so you can have a free hand when the cigarette lighter - it's very helpful. Bosses gas is very easy. This is an incredibly cheap and usefull tool for the workshop of any hobbyist or even tradesman. It is ideal to be used on heat shrink, to melt plastic and many other uses more. I bought one specifically for heat shrink and cannot imagine to use something else now.
Because of its small size, ergonomic design and good heat output it has earned its place in my toolbox. It can be refilled with any lighter gas can and therefore is very cheap to run.

This is an incredibly cheap and usefull tool for the workshop of any hobbyist or even tradesman. they send me in 21st day in Turkey thats ok . no problem there is butane lighter and holder for butane lighter . holder is very usefull . it fire whatever you want wood,iron,glass also steel . its usefull for small works . it can be handmade job equipment i think . of course you can fire your cigarette :)

Very powerful. Nice clear tank allows you to see how much fuel is left. Fills without spilling/wasting any gas. Lights easily and reliably. Feels well built.
Comes with a stand type base, but I threw it away as it seemed a bit pointless (imagine how a blowtorch stands up).
There is also a dust guard over the burner, but I may cut it off.

Cons:

None that I have found, apart from it being made of plastic rather than aluminium or steel.

What a great little lighter, at 100mm tall and at the igniter head 60mm it is a perfect size for your pocket. The quality is very good and the design was well thought out. You can also adjust the length of the flame. It has a clear tank so you can see how much fuel you have left. I have had one for a few months now and I use it regulary. This lighter is definately one of Deal extreme's better products.

Cons:

The only con would be, the stand that comes with it is a little unstable. Although not really a con it would be good to have a lock on the igniter in case the kids get a hold of it.
