Kingston MicroSD TransFlash 2GB Memory Card (JAPAN)

Pros:

Despite the simple and not very good build quality subject matter - this deserves my great respect. Since in this part there is nothing superfluous, and it is incredible cheap - this is the moment I'm most pleased! The rate of exchange of data is as big as in the usual large and expensive storage devices memory.

Cons:

A fragile thing that can be easily broken by applying a force to it, even a little. Build quality is not very much. Maybe it's just me, or maybe it is and what kind of money.

Other Thoughts:

If someone writes about this drive is bad, it's nothing. Vesh good. But who knows, there may be many factors of damage - in transportation, manufacturing, or more...

Bottomline:

No problems noted. Are satisfied. So if it breaks down or someone will ask, I'll order more.

Pros:

Good brand name card.
I bought 5 of these, they all arrived in genuine retail packaging, with the adaptors taped on.
Adaptor works well - I can use this card in my camera without a problem.
Other adaptors tend to be a little loose and the card has a tendancy to fall out, causing loss of data or failed writes

Cons:

None, side the fact that micro SD cards are very tiny.

Bottomline:

Its good. I always buy micro SD instead of full size, due to the flexabily, as it can be used as either a micro SD or full sized.
This card works well as the adaptor is very suitalbe as described above

Pros:

THese are so cheap I don't mind handing em out to people who need a small card for their phone. We did have a couple of the readers fail- but no big deal as everyone has a reader or 2 laying around.

Cons:

One card did fail. Had to re-format and of course lost all the data- but the card was still good. Also had a couple of the readers fail-

Amazing cheap. I know most newer phones take larger cards, but these are great for the "dumb" phones

I use them for nice cheap jump drives also. I have a micro to usb reader so these also make pretty cool jump drives.

Pros:

Cheap, and seems to be original. No real issues with the cards, readers are a bit questionable. works great in the cellphones and as a quick file transfere drive.

Cons:

Bought like 5 of these and 3 of the readers dont work (no big deal as everyone has readers laying around). One card did funk out in the cell phone but a reformat fixed that (probably the cell phones fault)

Other Thoughts:

So cheap I bought extras and gave them away (I'm a hero for $5!) If you have any problems with the cards try a different reader!

Bottomline:

CHeap memory- yea thats what I'm talking about. A no brainer for cell phones (imagine being able to store 100's of screen backgraounds, pictures, sounds, vids- whatever!) Just do it!

Pros:

Really good product, I think its the original. Really good price, cheaper then anywhere else, even retail. Works really well, and no formatting required. Speeds are descent. Works like a charm with my Samsung phone.

Cons:

No cons as I can see.

Other Thoughts:

The great thing about this product, is that you can transfer info in a small system. Works really well with my cellphone. It holds alot of pictures, and its easy to transfer to the computer.

Bottomline:

This was a great buy. I've had no problems with this card, and will recommend it to whoever needs an SD or MicroSD card. It is just about perfect for any mobile device, like a cellphone, GPS, camera, etc.

Pros:

- Looks, feels and works like a genuine Kingston card
- Advertised memory is right (2gb = 1,8gb for real)
- The file transfering speed seems about right. Not to slow, I've transfered about 300mb in less than 2 minutes.

Cons:

- The adapter was glued to the package with duck tape. It works, but I had to clean it up a little with alcohol because of the glue on top.

Other Thoughts:

A little bit cheaper than getting this card in my country, but it was worth it because I bought 2 for my cellphones with other products I bought from DX.

Bottomline:

Price just about right for the memory and the brand! Recomended.

Got it for use in a item no longer sold here on DX, and it worked beautifuly, also used it in 2 different phones as well as a thumbdrive using a memory card reader also bought here to transfer stuff to and from my xbox 360

If your looking for a smaller memory card for your phone, camera or other devices, this one worked on everything i threw it in. so the compatibility should work fine.

The micro-SD card does really look a genuine one. It comes within a nice package, wich looks also genuine.
The card works great, my personal computer immediately recognised the card as storage.
At last is the price superb. I can't get it cheaper in the local storages.

Cons:

It's not that fast, because it's a class 2 micro-SD card, but this is not different with other class 2 micro-SD cards.

2GB of good memory, I was a bit skeptical that it would be a cheap knockoff with a brand name on it, was pleasantly surprised to find it virtually identical to a store bought unit I had. I tested it in my PC before using it with SKU32022.
Bundled adaptor is handy, it works. I am starting to get a collection of these adaptors though!

Cons:

Fairly close in price to what's locally available. I think about it this way - I wanted one for another item I was buying from DX, so why not have it delivered in the same package? Convenience was the driving factor of my purchase.

This is a fake product. Not genuine Kingston. The writing on the memory card is skewed (at an angle) and is silk screen printed on, not laser etched like the original. The speed when tested in Crystal Disk Mark 3 was 5 MB/sec read and 3MB/sec write. A real Kingston JAPAN card is 18MB/sec read. So basically We have been conned. (2)

Bottomline:

Its not a original japanese product, but is reasonable cheap. Better buy another product with more capacity in the memory card.

Pros:

The price is excellent, in local shops in my city it costs 15 euro!! (about 22 usd)
It's really 2 gb.

Cons:

It seems not genuine, and securely it isn't, but I don't care.
The adapter that comed with the card is very bad, it brokes very easily, but I didn't need it.
It comes with no case, so if you need a case, buy it sepparately.

It is not from Japan as the title says, it is made in China, but all the manuals were in English.

It's excellent for the price, it's a very good deal.

DealExtreme comes through again providing me with a memory solution for not only for MicroSD/TF devices, but with the adaptor, also a number of regular SD card devices. BUY IT!

Pros:

Seems to be reliable. Reasonable speed. Excellent price, free postage. My local PC World shop has these in at 13 GBP but this card was 4 GBP delivered, and PC World only had the Kingston Taiwan 2GB MicroSD cards and not the Japanese ones which have WAY faster performance.

Cons:

Very slow postal delivery. NOT genuine Kingston. I wouldn't have minded so much if the card had similar performance to the original Kingston Japan card BUT IT DOES NOT, it's way slower.

This card is a staple in my selling career as it is fast and does not freeze with DS carts.
The price is great and the build quality is at it should be.
The read and write speeds are perfects for DS carts and my phone at the time.

This is a genuine product, game in retail packaging and everything. Made in Japan. Worked perfectly fine with my sony camera. I bought this right away when I saw it because the price (lower than it is now, but still it's cheap) is great for a 2GB memory card! Compared to stores in my area they are like $30+ !! I use it in my cell phone. Its 2GB can handle many hours of music and all the pictured the 5MB camera can take. Enough space for all I need in my cell phone. Works as expected, no problems at all.

I have a Samsung cell phone that takes Micro SD memory cards. I upgrade it with another card but it did not work. I could read the contents of the card, but not write to it. It was quite troublesome since I had to put music using the computer and save photos to the phone memory and then copy them directly to the computer using a cable. After replacing it with this one I bought here, everything works great.

Bottomline:

Can handle a lot of stuff and is cheaper than a larger onde. Great return of investment. Ask yourself if you REALLY need to expend more to get a larger one, and if you do not, just buy this.
