Stickman USB Webcam 1.3MPixel

Pros:

- Nice appearance
- No doubt a good price
- Good quality sensor
- Very high resolution
- Ability to adjust focus
- A latch for attaching stickers
- Good is on most surfaces

Cons:

- The cable is built into the camera, therefore, if necessary, its replacement would be complicated to implement
- Only works after you install the drivers, which although was not too heavy, but at the same time, it is not easy. In particular, the driver is deeply built into the system. At the same time for the camera to be triggered by several processes, which reduces the performance- There is no microphone

Bottomline:

High-quality webcam with a nice design, but with a few incomplete drivers and not a substitute for cable

Pros:

This is a great webcam, if you have the drivers for it. Once it was installed correctly I've had no problems whatsoever using this.
I'm using this right now for chatting through AOL Instant Messenger video chat, and it works well. The picture is a little fuzzy, but it's decent for my purposes.
Thus little guy's pretty flexible! I can pretty much stick him anywhere on my monitor for my desktop, and he hangs on even better on my laptop screen.

Cons:

The CD that I received with the webcams (I ordered 2) seemed to not have the correct driver on them. I had to do a manual search on google for the correct driver (I am using windows XP pro).
If you need the driver check out my post below for the driver version I googled. It looks like someone else has actually posted a download link for a driver, but I haven't tried that one yet.

Other Thoughts:

I ordered 2, and both ended up being purple.

Bottomline:

Great, versatile webcam for a great price. Makes a nice gift.

Pros:

-the flexibility is great
-doesn't feel like it's going to break while bending
-works on Mac OS X with macam driver (google it)
-decent image quality. don't expect crystal clear images.

Cons:

-actually not 1.3MP, it's a VGA camera (640x480 - 0.3MP) but not a big issue.

-mine came with small stratches on the metal ring around the lens

Other Thoughts:

i received the purple one, it would be great if it was the blue one.

Bottomline:

makes me the only person who owns a web cam looking like himself amongst my friends.

Pros:

- Great Image Quality - 1.3 MP
- Plug & Play (at least on my windows vista)
- Looks very cute (my girlfriend loved it!)
- Cheap and good for a gift

Cons:

- It doesn't bends as I tought
- The photo button didn't work, maybe because i couldn't install the proper driver
- Should have a English driver CD, and it also should be more simple

Other Thoughts:

The software that came on the cd is in japanese and its like 8 different install files, so I never knew what to do, but I didn't need it tough

Bottomline:

I like it a lot, very useful

Pros:

Realmente é resistente e de boa qualidade, os braços, pernas e cabeça se dobram a fim de facilitar o angulo. O produto é bonito e com designe inovador.

Cons:

Veio com uma caixa estranha (diferente da propaganda aqui) e diz que é somente 480k pixel e não 1.3mega, não sei o motivo, mas acredito que não seja da resolução indicada.

Other Thoughts:

Acompanha somente um cd de instalação e me deu a impressão de estar faltando algo na caixa.

Bottomline:

No final, acredito ser um bom produto, apenas acho que enviaram na caixa errada, ou que não é correto a resolução indicada de 1.3mp.

Pros:

- A really well designed camera; infinitely better than other boring camera-like cameras.

- Decent build quality; feels solid.

- Image quality is quite good.

- The malleability of the stickman is quite nifty; I've bended it so that it looks like it's peeking at me from the top of my laptop screen.

Cons:

- Bundled software is probably the barest you'd get; has very poor video-capturing functions that needs a bit of getting used to.

- Disappointed that it does not have a mic embedded; ended up having to purchase a mic in order to capture/video-conference with audio.

Bottomline:

Great camera if you already own a mic to use with it; adds character to your desktop working space, but not to the extent that it feels tacky.

Pros:

- good quality
- adjustable/bendable
- cute looking
- acceptable price

Cons:

actually none.

Other Thoughts:

nice webcam for those with old laptops or webcamless one.

Bottomline:

buy, if you are looking for a cheap but good quality webcam.

Pros:

This little webcam works well with Linux using the video4linux drivers. The camera itself uses a ZC0301 chip:

"zc0301: V4L2 driver for ZC0301[P] Image Processor and Control Chip v1:1.07"

I have not had a chance to use it with a wide range of applications but so far it works with Kopete and other IM programs I have tested.

Cons:

Could use some rubber on the bottom of the feet...they are kind of slick and the camera is a little light...slides around a bit.

Bottomline:

If you need a basic webcam this little guy is tough to beat.

Pros:

This little guy has a great image. The driver works well with windows XP. Shows up in my computer, and works well with the web cam software I downloaded.

Cons:

The driver is not automatically loaded by Windows XP. You must use the CD rom to load the driver or it will not work. This includes the need for a reboot.

Other Thoughts:

Looks way cooler than a regular web cam.

Bottomline:

If windows would load the driver for this guy automatically it would be PERFECT! Great buy for the price!

Pros:

Cheap webcam but produces very good quality! Bright, sharp, and also cute (Goodbye to boring round-shaped webcams!). The "arms" and "legs" can be adjusted so you can "pose" the webcam anyhow you want.

Cons:

- It's a bit hard to adjust the arms and legs, you need to pull them a bit stronger than expected
- Need on/off button, so to turn off, have to unplug from USB

Bottomline:

A very good quality webcam at a very affordable price. All the cons are negligible in my opinion. If you don't have a webcam, get this one now!
