USB Charging Cable for NDS Lite

Pros:

1) I can use this to charge my Nintendo DS Lite ANYWHERE!
2) It's easy to carry around and is ultra portable, so I can carry it in my Nintendo DS Lite case.
3) As long as I have my laptop or a USB Port A/C charger, I can use this to charge.

Cons:

There are no cons about this product besides the fact that the plastic used to cover the wires feel a little bit delicate. It feels like it might break if it's handled harshly but so far, there hasn't been any problems with it.

Bottomline:

It's an AMAZING product and it works SUPER well. Just buy a couple more in case you lose the cable.

Great price, quality, and use! I love it that it is an USB charger! I can just carry it anywhere now, and charge it with my PC or USB power adapter! Good length too.

This is a great and reliable charger for your DS. It can charge through a Computer/Laptop Via Usb. It can also charge in your car (If you have the Car adapter). It's dirt cheap/ The cable is thick enough to not feel like it's going to rip. It doesn't overheat my Ds. It comes in the color the picture describes it.

This is a simple cable that fits perfectly inside the DSL and USB ports. It works from both computer USB ports and USB wall chargers.

Cons:

Umm... black color may clash with pink or blue NDSL's...? Besides being a bit short (which a simple USB extension cable can fix)... not much really.

Other Thoughts:

Since the stock NDSL charger is rated at 5.2v, and USB is only 5v, expect the system to fully charge a bit slower using this (it is by design of the NDSL and not a fault of the cable).
The upside is that by using this and a wall charger (such as sku# 37), the system can be easily charged anywhere (with proper wall adapter), whereas with the stock charger, it uses the voltage of where the system was released (i.e. my charger only works in Japan and N.A.).

Bottomline:

For its ease of use and portability, this is a great cable to get.

Need a charging cable? get this. The only other product I would recommend is the 3 pack, if they still sell it. That way you can put one by different computers and charge it/play wherever you are, or put one in your backpack to charge at school (I play my ds during study breaks in the library).

Pros:

I had seen this a while back but didnt buy it beceause i didnt need it at the time. Now I had lost one of my power cables so remembered this. Looked around and finally made the purchace. Very glad i did. Its very usefull to sit and charge my DS while im at my laptop.

Cons:

As stated by others, the cord could be longer. An extra foot or two would be great. The build loks a little flimsy but it seems to be holding up just fine for now.

Simply put, this thing works. It can charge your Nintendo DS via USB. I haven't used it for anything else, but it certainly is more portable than the power brick, and it can help clean up some clutter around your room.

Cons:

None, as far as I've experienced. The worst that can happen with this cable is that it charges more slowly compared to the regular power brick (less current, from my guess).

Its a great way to charge your NDS if you lose the original Nintendo DS charger. It does what its suppose to do. Plug it in USB from your computer and it will charge your NDS

Plugging in the Nintendo DS with the cable is fine but the bad part about it is actually trying to take it out. The plug is extremely tight that you have to use force in order to take it out

This charging cable works good. Color is black and i prefer it over the grey original NDS charger that i got with my black DSL.
It's easy to use: just plug it on DS and on an USB port and you are done. ;)

This charging cable looks a little weak. After all, it looks weak like all other wire i've had to do with. :)
Its length is not bad for most of the times, but i'd prefer it a bit longer.
Package was completely crushed, pheraps because of the long travel. Anyway, cable is perfect, no damage on it (it's a wire...)

Cable is not really cheap, considering what it really is (just a wire). Anyway it's a must buy if you are searching for a way to charge your DS when you're not at home and you don't want to carry the original DS charger with you everytime.
