Pros: Takes one AA, throws a ton of light, throws light far (75 + feet), easy to cup in your fist or keep in a pocket.
Cons: No "cons", this is a must have.
Other Thoughts: A friend of mine mentioned this light, so I bought one. I got it...and love it. I use it when I'm walking my dog on suburban streets at night, or when I'm in the woods. Before I bought this light I was camping and ran across something in the brush. All I could see were two red eyes staring at me. My old flashlight was so weak it did nothing. I had no idea what the hell was in the brush. All I can say is that I won't have that happen again with this flashlight.
Bottomline: I like this light so much I purchased another 3 of them to pass out to my family. One thing you should do is check the build quality when you get it. The three I ordered all had a little build issue. Essentially a small defect you would only notice if you unscrewed it. Some deep scratches on top of the threads, where you screw the cap on. Not bad enough for me to send back, you can't see the scratch when the light is assembeled. These are nice little utility lights.

Pros: +Nice hotspot... +Sturdy Construction... +Smooth threads on tailcap and head... +Can be dissasembled easily... +Forward Switch... +Feels really good on hand...
Cons: -Came pretty dirty... -Has fingerprints INSIDE the lens... -Cree XR-E LED is outdated. XP-G will be a nice update for this small flashlight... -A bit pricey considering the old cree emiter installed...
Other Thoughts: A really classic DX flashlight. Good throw on small size and primary bateries. Perfect for non flashaolic people. The main concern for me is that it needs to be dissasembled to clean all parts. Lens has fingerprints, threads where very dirty and not lubbed... Anyway, I always dissasembly all DX lights for cleaning before using them, so this was not an exception. The forward clicky switch is nice. I didn't knew about this when ordered.
Bottomline: Good flashlight for gifts. Just clean all threads before operation.

Pros: I bought this for my parents, it's good because it doesn't use any special batteries. I like the fact that it uses AA battery, there easy to find and install - good for old people. The light is very bright for such a small item, nice beam and works great.
Cons: No cons really, maybe it could be a couple of dollars less, but it's still a good deal
Other Thoughts: Maybe if it had a longer barrel that could take two AA batteries would probably be better, longer lasting and brighter
Bottomline: It's a good deal, but the prices are getting cheaper on super bright LED flashlights, check you local store for deals.

Pros: -Great beam -nice body -bateries last fine -easy to carry every day -use AA bateries -fishing, hunting, repair, you name it, everyone should have one in pocket - love one click lights -You do not have to squeeze the end of it to get beam especialy god when hunting, no click
Cons: -i order 10 so far, some not working well losing electrical connection, will try to repair -2 out of 10 working bad -dont drop it not shock resistant
Other Thoughts: - it would be nice to came with some case, just a suggestion
Bottomline: i think that this is probably one of the best selling items here on DX, i will buy some more, great as a gift to someone, especially if hunting or fishing. everyone who get this from me were very happy to get such a great torch. buy it worth the money you spend

Pros: - Good bright light, very cool white led. - Small size - Good price, very cheap.
Cons: - My flashlight does not work when battery cap is fully closed. The plastic cap is loose. I had to open it back a little to work. - Plastic lens with no option of throw/flood
Other Thoughts: It costs more than bigger and brighter flashlights, although the small size is a pro, not a con.
Bottomline: I think it is good flashlight for the price, but could be better. You have other options with better luminosity and better price, like the KINGHON 1AA Cree Q3-WC 3-Mode 120-Lumen Convex Lens LED Flashlight - Black (1*AA) (sku 44714)

Pros: I have bought several of these on DealX and I love them. Have tried a few other single LED batteries but none of them are as good as these. They are very bright, and the battery lasts a very long time. They seem very solid, too.
Cons: Not a single bad thing I can think of. Maybe a glowing cap would be nifty, but it's hardly a con.
Bottomline: Great light, not just for the money, but for the size. Cheap enough to keep one everywhere you might need a light; one in the car, one in the tool kit, one in the drawer

Pros: Very bright and great to use. Great with going to camping and very fun to use. Liked it very well and I had a great use for this flash light. Soon I will reorder one when I have the money to do so. Great for the money and should be recommended to any one of all ages. Well worth the build, no defects and certainly can be used in dark places.
Cons: Very easy to get scratched and hard to repair. Some minor wears overtime. Battery drains very fast since it is using one double A battery. Has a very odd shape in the front and it can reduces the light if you change the settings around.
Other Thoughts: None because its so good there are basically any. Very useful and can be used for many purposes.
Bottomline: Great flashlight bang for the bucks. Highly recommended. Great gift for non-flashaholics. They'll be blown away, and it uses commonly available AA cells, so they won't have to deal with LiIon. Build quality seems dependable, except I'm a little leery of the thin threads. Maybe I'm spoiled.

Pros: i read the reveiws and the more i read the more i had to buy this torch, not dissapointed at all when my 2 i ordered came in the mail-I shoved a lithium baterry in it and was at first not to blown away as this was in the middle of the day!-come night the range is a tight 60-70 meters and for a single aa that just blew me away,I use this at work and it can be too bright even though i dont beleive that the torch cant be too bright!!
Cons: none as yet and i will get another 2 in the mail soon so ill rave on more and post some pics
Other Thoughts: if you can make this sucker brighter for even 5 dollars more id buy it
Bottomline: well made torch and i cannot fault it at this moment, great buy so go and try one and you will be back!!

Pros: This little torch has a sturdy construction feeling. It's well made.
Fits very well on hand. Well balanced.
Runs on a AA battery. I'm using it with a rechargeable 2000mAh gyuasa battery and it's very bright.
Latch is ok.
Pushbutton feels good.
I like very much this torch design.
Cons: A bit brighter than ultrafire C3 SKU 1993 but a bit pricier and bigger too.
Other Thoughts: Could include a basic holster liks sku 1993
Bottomline: If you need a good-looking little cree torch this one is a good one. But there are cheaper and less bulkier ones.

Pros: Very bright for the size. Uses AA battery. Very good build quality. Cheap.
Cons: Some people may not like the clicky button on the end cap. I think this position allows for a larger, better quality switch on a small flashlight, but it is not quite as convenient as on the barrel.
Other Thoughts: It is very bright with a very long throw so it is ideal for out-door use: camping, hunting for burglars in the backyard. But don't use it to find your socks early in the morning. It will wake your girlfriend who will be really annoyed. A rechargeable battery lasted for about an hour of use and it degraded well, so it was still useful indoors with quite a flat battery.
Bottomline: This is the first Cree LED flashlight I have bought and I'm really happy with it.

Pros: Excellent throw
Uses the ever present AA
Solid build quality
Easily moddable
Even, pleasing anodizing
Cons: Threads are a little thin
Very little usable spill
Little bit of green in the tint
Light came completely dry.
Other Thoughts: Overall I'm quite pleased with this light. I bought 3 as gifts for Christmas, and had to make sure they worked before I gave them away :) Throw is excellent, but leaves little spill left. I find the body of the light a little annoying, specifically the square area. That's personal preference however.
Anodizing is even throughout. I didn't test durability because I'm not the end recipient.
I'm planning to buy another to mod sooner or later. I'd like to see what would happen if I dropped an XP-G in.
All of my lights came completely dry, which is why I took a star off build quality. The threads were squeaking like crazy.
Bottomline: Great gift for non-flashaholics. They'll be blown away, and it uses commonly available AA cells, so they won't have to deal with LiIon. Build quality seems dependable, except I'm a little leery of the thin threads. Maybe I'm spoiled.

Pros: - It's very bright
- It feels solid
- It's very compact.
Cons: - Battery life is small, but it's to be expected I guess, since it uses just a single AA.
Other Thoughts: All the flashlights I had used so far where of the cheap-plastic-super market quality, so this one really stands out. I couldn't expect much more. It's well-built, it's very bright, it's very bright - it does what it's supposed to do without any extras... maybe I would have liked for the beam to be less focused, but that's just a personal preference - the photos displayed ARE precise.
Bottomline: A very good flashlight and a good purchase.

Pros: Well, to start off i really like the size of the torchlight. Fits in my shirt's pocket very nice.
Runs on a single AA battery, which is good as i only bought it as a backup light.
Build quality is good from the outside, but tail cap treat is a bit rough, but that is allright since it doesn't affect the performance of the light. Good solid on/off switch at the tail of the light (it means it cannot tail stand).
The LED is P3? It isn't really state of the art but still a very good pill (CREE).
Good Throw.
-And uses AA over 14700 which is good news for me. Why? because cheap lights normally does not (and will not) have a good circuit board with constant current regulator. Since the usable voltage for AA normally ranged from 0.9V to 1.5V, the range between Fully Charged and Near Depleted is only 0.6V. As voltage goes down, the intensity of the light goes down as well. 14700? Fully Charged 4.2V, near depleted 2.7V. too far a gap and imagine how much the light will dim.
Cons: -Doesn't have a long runtime. Not a problem for me since i only use it as a backup light.
-A very very short lanyard! there is no way anyone can put their wrist in and still be able to hold the light at the same time.
Other Thoughts: i owned 2 Fenix lights (TK12 and LP20) and a Solarforce L2M. Initially thought these inferior brand would be a no good considering the cheap price. Some of my colleagues actually bought similiar cheap lights of other maker, and i tell you those are crap! But i bought this Romisen anyway to just try out the light since it has so many good review here.
And by the way, waited for a month but my shipment never arrived. i emailed DX and they send me a second one few weeks later. A long wait but worth the while. Thanks DX! Nice customer service by the way. Very responsive.
Bottomline: I'm surprise how well the light worked. Very good thrower for such a small light. Will get a few more as gifts for co-workers. Just hoped that it was cheaper.

Pros: This Flashlight is very good. As I recieved it, I couldn't believe how small it was. It's very bright too. The housing is very very well build, I think it's aluminium and it has o-rings, so I think its waterproof. The best light with this size I have ever seen. It's very small so you can put it in your pocket, but bright enough to use. In my opinion Romisen is a really good producer.
Cons: I didn't found any cons yet, maybe the battery lifetime isn't that long.
Bottomline: I recommend this product. Great price, very well build, bright.

Pros: 1. It has a decent price (not cheap but decent).

6. Small and compact, great for every day carry.
7. Forward clicky.
8. VERY WELL BUILT!
Cons: 1. Arrived with an outdated Cree XPC led inside, bin unknown.
2. Cant handle 14500 batteries.
3. Tint is a bit green.
Other Thoughts: Draws 1.4A from a AA cell - a bit overdriven. I'd like to see this with a XPG led. Gets warm after 10 minutes.
Bottomline: Well built and small light. Good choice.

Pros: Excellent flashlight. Runs on AA batteries (alkaline, NiMH are the ones I have tested), so you do not have to worry about looking for obscure battery types, especially if you live in a rural community.
The flashlight itself is built very solidly, and has a good solid clicky on/off switch (more on this in "other thoughts").
The LED is decent, despite the older Cree emitter. It provides a good amount of throw and a usable amount of flood.
Cons: The flashlight does not come with the ability to use 14500 lithium batteries, which may be a detraction to some.
One problem I encountered was that if you screw on the back tightly, the LED fails to work. If you loosen it just slightly (about half a turn), then the flashlight works as normal. A very strange phenomenon; something that I will need to test when I get access to a multimeter.
Other Thoughts: This flashlight does not come with a case, but comes with a lanyard. The on/off clicky switch is a forward clicky (very good!) and not a reverse, like most other flashlights on Dealextreme.
Bottomline: A great flashlight for experts and beginners alike; it is one of the best throwers I have seen operating on a single AA battery.

Pros: Amazingly bright, and lots of light in the spill too. Very bright spot with good amount of spill. Using single AA makes it easy to find replacement battery - just about anywhere you go you can buy AA's.
Cons: Just a wee bit pricey, but still a very good price for the great quality you get.
Other Thoughts: Nice warm light. A little on the orange-red side. Much better than those with a cold blue tint. Light color is similar to light from a halogen lamp. Excellent choice of Cree lamp. I would say this one (RC-G2 with single AA and slight orange-red tint) is brighter than the RC-I3 (with 2XAA and greenish tint).
Bottomline: Amazed with brightness of this little light. And the fact that it is coming from a single AA battery just floors me. If I had to buy again I would choose this RC-G2 over the RC-I3. This one is smaller and more compact in size, yet brighter - and again using only just a single AA!!! - amazing!!

Cons: No cons at all, maybe battery lasts for short but that the price of good light.
Other Thoughts: If you wanna AA battery to have by your side, this is very good option. Serves more than well, gives plenty of light, it's more thrower than flooder.
Bottomline: Buy, can't go wrong with one of the best AA battery here on DX

Pros: Great Flashlight. This was my first Cree flashlight purchase, and let me say that I was very pleasantly surprised when I received it. I've only used regular flashlights before, and the brightness of this little guy WOW'd me and my friends to smithereens. Even without those dangerous lithiums, running on a regular AA battery, this one far outperforms your average LED flashlights, even my mini maglite that uses 2 AA's. The build quality is really something else. I really like the feel of the metal casing, and the solidity and compactness of it allows me to shove it into my pocket with confidence.
Cons: Gets hot after a couple minutes of continuous use. That's hardly any wonder though, considering the MASSIVE output of this little guy.
Other Thoughts: I popped a rechargable duracell into it, works like a charm. I keep this guy around for those instances when I need to look in dark places, like under couch or behind the computer etc. It has now officially replaced my maglite. Going outside for a stroll at night, camping, you name it, this is a durable, compact, BEAST of a flashlight.
Bottomline: If you're new to Cree lights, and are curious about what the hype around these super bright flashlights are about, this is the one for you. Running on just a simple AA cell, you WILL be amazed at both the build quality and performance of this little monster.

Pros: simple click on and off. It isnt a complicated light with multifunction end clickies or focusing lenses. It's very sturdy as my little daughter plays with it and has thrown it on the kitchen tiles quite a few times and it doesn't miss a beat. Have taken it away camping with me and it is much more powerful than a MagLite which is 100 times larger. I really like that it takes one AA battery rather than some fancy battery I can't easily buy at a store. I have heaps of AA rechargables around so it's a non issue.
Cons: Not waterproof Sometimes it will shut itself off or it will take a few turns of the end cap to get it working again. I am sure if I had the time to take it apart and fiddle with the connections it would work all the time. But it is a non issue for me and works 9/10 times.
Bottomline: This is my favorite light ever. So much so that when I lost one, I bought another one right away. It is just so small but powerful.

Pros: It's a single AA cell light with a lot of light on it. The body is solid, the LED is an original Cree array, the light is good and solid. I would say that i'm not sure about the runtime on a single "duracell" battery, but is more than an hour of continuos use, and the lamp does not get even warm.
Other Thoughts: the wrist strap, feels weak, not sure if will hold or, not, but i bought the flashlight for the Light, not the strap.
Bottomline: for the money is a good Flashlight and it runs on the most common battery on the world.

Pros: Ok, this is one bright AA thrower! I ordered both this (3607) and WF-606A (14909) and amazed to see the output that this light produces from 1xAA. Of course not the same as the WF-606A on 2xAA but in the same ballpark. Build quality is excellent; way better than the Ultrafire. In general seems more solidly constructed. Orange clicky is a nice touch, would be better if GITD. Small and thin, therefore easily pocketable.
Other Thoughts: The net is rife with reviews of this light and its comparisons with peers. Seems like there's a Q5 version out now as well (not on DX yet) but I'm happy with this amount of light for this money.
Bottomline: Get it. A must in every light lover's kit.

If you've never tried these "new" LED flashlights

Pros: If you've never tried these "new" LED flashlights...You will be amazed by the light output from 1 AA battery. This is not like the '9-LED' flashlights (that run on 3 AAA's) that sell for $2. The light is quite white and is very bright and usable over +50' away. Does not need odd batteries.
Cons: Build quality is quit good for a $10 light. Solid aluminum body, no rattles when assembled, adjustable focus, glass lens. Can someone explain the 'red' switch button? I could understand if it was 'glow in the dark' or something...
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for something to light up a key hole...this is over kill...go with the $1 key chain lights. If you want a light that's: 1) much smaller and much lighter than an an old 2D cell flashlight 2) cheap to operate on easy to find batteries 3) 4" long and 1" diam at the head This is a good choice. If you are looking for a "flame thrower", look for a lithium powered, halogen lamp. Expect it to run 30 min on a set of batteries and apx 5 hrs per bulb....yes I have one of those also...
Bottomline: I'm ordering another pair.

Pros: Comes in a white box Very well build Very good finish High quality reflector Glass lens Good quality lanyard Forward tail switch with momentary on function ( that first flashlight i got from DX with forward switch and I have a few already. Item has no scratches on it and looks very new, suitable for gift. About 3 times brighter then my LED M*G-Light powered by TWO not one "AA" lights. Looks more expensive and better build then M*G light.
Cons: Can be brighter Visible CREE rings Outdated LED Not weapon mountable, won't feet standard scope ring.
Other Thoughts: It's my first REMISON flashlight On pictures looks bigger then in real life. Looks as expensive item, suitable as gift. Useful as back up tactical light or light for a car/track/boat or EDS There is brighter torches for about the same price but using CR123 batteries. I have seen the same light in version II using Q5 LED DX SHOULD GET Q5 version of this light, I will buy a few right away
Bottomline: Buy this light if you need light running on single "AA" battery or small HIGH QUALITY light for EDS. I would recommend this light for a friend.

Pros: Extremely bright compared to any commonly available light. Switch which lights up before the click (not only after you click) Takes an AA battery. Runs really bright on a rechargable (all I have) Waterproof (take it into a really hot shower - it looks pretty cool) Good fit and finish. I like the orange button =]
Cons: Threads are a little bit sharp. Excessive grease added to o-rings. The square section on the barrel doesn't actually stop the torch from rolling. The torch will not stand on its butt. The lanyard is crap. Definitely the worst thing about this. DUMP THE LANYARD for a better one.
Other Thoughts: If you are not addicted to torches, just buy this already. This will be brighter than any other torch you have used. Ignore all the reviews saying that this is not a "flood" light. It floods plenty. It's just that the center spot is so much brighter that it kinda makes the flood seem dim =p
Bottomline: Cheap =/= good However, this light cheap + quality = good value If you are a normal person, this is all you will need. Ignore all the people saying AAs are crap compared to the fancy number coded batteries. AAs will be much much brighter than any other torch you have seen. (if you are an average person. i'm sure there are much brighter lights out there) btw. this messes up your night vision.

Pros: Excellent build quality, feel, and beam. For the price it's going to be hard to beat. It's a thrower with a good spot and a reasonable amount of spill.
Cons: Not quite as easy to fit in your pocket with the slightly bigger than average head.
Other Thoughts: I'm not really sold on the orange tailcap. It's a manly fashioned little torch, but that orange clicky cap just makes it a bit odd looking. But in the dark you can't see it and when you compare the light out of it to other AA's, you won't be complaining too much. The aspheric torches might out throw it and out wide it at the extremes, but if you wanted a torch that was going to be working after you crawled through a swamp, I'd be betting more heavily that this little Romisen would still be there at the end, with crocodile tooth marks and your blood on it, still intact and shining.
Bottomline: If you want a trusty AA torch, this is the one.

Pros: This is a very bright aa battery flashlight, I would say 90 lumen or more. It is the brightest single aa flashlight I have seen. The forward clicky is nice and pretty uncommon on these chinese lights. The size is good, it is pretty small.
Cons: none that I can think of........
Other Thoughts: don't know the run time yet, but nice that it takes a battery you can get anywhere
Bottomline: Great prices, great brightness, forward clicky is nice....I recommend this for anyone needing a bright compact flashlight that take a very common battery size.

Pros: +good output for a single AA flashlight
+warm white tint (compared to RC-N3 w/AAs which is yellowish)
+bright hotspot, nice throw (better than UF C3)
+forward clicky / great quality components
+lightweight and handles nice - good grips options
+think aluminum
+nice machining
+smooth threads
+flawless finish
+oring were needed
Cons: -dry threads and orings
-emitter and bin are outdated (exact bin used remains mystery at best)
Other Thoughts: Comes packaged in a generic white cardboard box, why dont all DX torches get the same treatment? The included strap is crap, toss it straight in the bin. Orange tailcap (I prefer black). Output current measured at tail: 1.5A
Bottomline: This is a great single AA battery for the money. Great throw for its size, useable spill. Highly recommended by lots of DX reviewers so you cant really go wrong for the money.

Pros: This little thing gives a long, long throw. I lit up trees about 70 or 80 metres away. This could be true because it produces a more condensed beam, a smaller hotspot.
The forward click is especially handy in that the light lights up when you press the tail button, not hard enough to trigger the "click".
Not like others such as sku 28546, the reflector is easy to screw off, making the light a candle.
Cons: The light it produces is slightly yellowish as compared with my other one (sku 28546). I like whitish light.
Bottomline: If you do not mind the hotpot being relatively small, buy this one. This one will light up stuff far, far from you.
