Pros: - best (or only?) dock available for htc desire - comes with a charger and usb cable (attached) - good quality - fits good - just works! - you can also use it with your original charger
Cons: - the case does not really support the phone, it just sits on the microusb-plug - led blue led is mega annoying - It could be heavier, you always have to use two hands (one holding dock, one pulling phone)
Other Thoughts: if you don't like the blue led, tape it with black tape. (I did that). There are two versions out there, one has a microUSB connector on the back side (and comes with a microUSB charger), and the older version comes with a miniUSB connector & charger. I got both for my htc desire, both work fine. But the newer one is much better, so you can directly use your htc charger. If you have an usb charger you can also use it with the usb cable attached to the dock.
Bottomline: Nice dock for a good price! But it could be cheaper!

Feels well-built, but may stress the USB-connector

Pros: - feels well-built
- European power-plug
- 1000mA charger (charges the HTC Desire faster than on the USB-connector alone)
Cons: There is one major design-flaw.
The cradle is probably intended to be used for more models than the HTC Desire.
This results in the lack of mechanical support of the HTC Desire. When inserted, the back of the phone does not rest on anything, meaning the entire weight is carried only by the micro-USB-socket. Not only the weight, but the phone also leans to the back, which may cause some extra (mechanical) stress on the connector inside the phone.
Other Thoughts: I'll advice to place some layers of tape on the inside of the cradle to support the weight of the phone. Otherwise there might be too much stress on the USB connector, which may lead to defects in the future.
Perhaps also the cradle could be a bit taller for better support of the phone.
I find it a bit strange the charger is equipped with the mini-USB connector and the (data) USB-cable is fixed. Perhaps a micro-USB-connector on the charger would be making more sense.
Bottomline: As a desk-charger it is fine, but I wouldn't advise using it without some modifications, otherwise the micro-USB-connector of the phone may break.

Pros: - Looks OK, feels sturdy and well built - Power indicator - EU plug! - Heavy enough to make it stand well - The phone rests well in the cradle - Charges on AC (charges much faster than on regular USB) or on USB depending on which is plugged in. - Easy to set in or take out the phone from the charger - A dust cover for the usb connector is included.
Cons: - Doesnt look great, but doesn't look bad eighter.
Other Thoughts: Note that the USB plug (data) is not removable, but the charger-cable is. The charger-cable is mini-usb (Not micro, as the phone is)and is plugged in the back of the charger.
Bottomline: It just works very well, and looks more than OK, and the EU powerplug is very welcoming. Would absolutely recommend this charger for anyone which uses EU power.
