Screen Protectors Set for NDS Lite

Pros:

It is the best price/quality screen protector that you can ever get. It is nice, clean, doesn't distort the image or the lighting of the console. The touch screen is as responsive as if it didn't have a protector and has a little cloth so you can clean it if it gets dirty.

Cons:

Full Instructions in Japanese (Even though the installation process it is quite intuitive)
The protector of the touch screen get easily scratched when you use it too much
If you don't put it correctly, it may form bubbles of air.

Other Thoughts:

Even as good as it is, I feel like it is designed to be discarded and get new ones, after a period of time (just like a toothbrush)

Bottomline:

Get it it if you want to extend the life of your Nintendo DS Lite as far as you can. Also, If you want to resell it (the console), it is way easier if none of the screen has scratches on them, and this screen protectors do the best job avoiding that.

Pros:

Cheap, Keeps screen clear protector is not visible.

No blue soft card included. This was shown in the picture, i feel a little ripped off. Instructions are not the best, But useful reviews by other people tell of good and easy ways to install unit and remove the issue of dust. No naming to show what protector is for what screen. Its a case of trial and error.

A screen protector is a must have for you're NDS just that little bit of effort can go a long way in preserving your gaming console.

- one of them do not peel off nicely after i applied, i've to discard it after it peel off together with the actual screen protector.
- the screen protector are not labeled to differentiate between top and bottom, the smaller one is for the bottom one.

Other Thoughts:

For those who are trying to apply in a dusty environment, you can use some sort of clear and weak tape to lift up dust particle.

Don't worry too much about the bubble, the bubble will not be obvious when u play the game.

it's cheap, it does its job to protect the screen.

Easy to apply, does not hinder gameplay, screen is still clear.

To allow easy application:
1. keep hot water running from a tap. The damp will let small particles in the air disappear and you will get less particles under the screen protector.
2. use some sticky tape to remove particles under the screen protector: lift it up a little, move the stickey tape over the dust particle, make the dust particle stick to the sticky tape and remove the tape.
3. make an extra 'handle' for the screen protector using a folded piece of sticky tape. With the extra 'handle' it is easier to position it in the right position.

Bottomline:

Buy it if you want to protect your NDS screen from scratched. Must have.

Good visibility and very sensitive in the touch screen.
Prevent and reduces scratches on your screen, better than a screen replacement.
Two sizes, one for upper screen and one for bottom screen.

It's easy to attach but you must be careful to avoid bubbles.
After few days the screen protector comes full of scratches.
Japanese or chinese instructions unuseful for me.

Great quality! Perfectly fits on the DS lite screens. The film is quite transparent so it doesn't really affect the gameplay. It's invisible unless you really look for it. Once applied, it protects the screen from scratches and dust. Well packed!

Cons:

They don't last forever but that's not a complain. They are super cheap. Just buy more of them and change them after several months of usage. The cloth in the pack is not that great.

Other Thoughts:

They are perfect screen protection for my DS lite. I buy several of them and replace them after 8 months to an year when they become dull due to wear. Imagine if we don't apply them, that's what will happen to our screen.

If you love your DS lite like I do, buy them to protect your screen and it will increase the overall life span of your handheld. Perhaps, buy more than one so you could have spares for later.

- Very cheap. If you get the original product you will spend ten times more. Not really necessary. You're going to be alright with these.
- It's like getting a new screen.

They are difficult to apply. You must be very careful when applying them. If you make a mistake you'll get bubbles that are awful and you're forced to waste the product.

Comes with a really nice cloth so you can polish your screen perfectly before you apply the screen protectors. You'd better not using them on the top screen, useless protection. You will waste one pellicle.

Bottomline:

Make your screen to resurrect. I recommend to buy more than one if you make a mistake when applying it on the screen, they're cheap.

People will keep moaning about them, but I find them absolutely wonderful. I've been using mine for almost a year, playing my DSL at least 3 hours a week, using the touch screen constantly, and there are HARDLY any scratches! Maybe the reason is that I don't apply much pressure with my stylus as some people, and don't try to stab my DS.
About applying these - it's easy as long as you know what you're doing.

Bottomline:

Apply these in a dust-free environment, and make sure you clean your screens properly beforehand.
Try using a credit card to get rid of all the bubbles as you're applying these from one side (left or right) to the other.

-It does what it is supposted to do: it protects the NDS Lite from dust, scratches, fingerprints and so on.
-It's cheap. You can order a good deal of screen protectors for the price of one (compared to my country).
-It fits perfectly in my NDS Lite.

-It scratches a little bit too easily for my personal taste. Considering the price I can live with that though. If you spend many hours a day playing NDS Lite you might have to change it once every month or so.
-It was a bit tricky to install without bubbles. The same can be said for practically every screen protector available though.

Just one little push - and you get a scratch. 1 week of use - and you get all protector scratched up. That is some s**t. Also, trying to put it on is some hell trial you don't want to have.

It protects the touch screen from permanent scratches - which is why you're looking for one of these protections

Cons:

It's somewhat hard to apply, and easy to get something stuck between it and the screen, thanks to the weak glue it has.
It feels much more rubberish than others that I've bought. May make sliding movements a bit harder.

Other Thoughts:

There are some hints on how to apply it if you search around.
I'm not sure if it's the NDS lite touchscreen or if it's this protector, but the touchscreen seems less sensitive than the NDS phat.
You'll hardly use the upper screen protector - or at least, if you apply once, it'll hardly be replaced for a new one because of scratches. So you can use the second one for other things, like cel phones. :3

Bottomline:

Almost all protections are about this same price, so either get one of each to try them all, get the one that you think it's better, or just grab the cheaper one, they'll all scratch anyway... Unless it's "original Hori", which makes the image a little blurry over time, but it's very resistent to scratches.

If you are not putting good protectors as probably put it badly, as it is a bit complicated. There are always mini air bubbles, this is normal. just clean it before putting the screen and use the cardboard template that comes to drag air into a border.

Good way to protect your screen from scratches, especially the bottom screen where you do most of the action.
Once your screen protector is blurry from playing just replace it with another one, which is better than replacing the touch screen

The only con is the cleaning cloth that it comes with actually leaves lint on the screen when applying the screen protector. I just used my own micro-fiber cloth to clean it instead.

With kids working with an NDS you'll get scratches on it, so better pay the change in your pocket for these screen protectors. It comes with a piece of cloth to wipe the screen clean, applying the protectors is easy, you're finished withing five minutes and it gives you a long time protection
