Pros:
- doubles as a (bedside) desk stand
- no need for two separate cables (power+data)
- keeps on charging the phone after I shut down the PC
- can charge a second battery ( http://www.dealextreme.com/p/3-7v-3000mah-high-capacity-battery-pack-with-back-cover-for-htc-g8-wildfire-50656 for example)
- I can carry my original HTC charger w/ me, in case I need to charge a little here and there
Cons:
- the micro USB plug that goes into the phone fell into pieces on the first week (i fxed it with a tiny cable tie)
Other Thoughts:
- it could be a bit heavier, handling the phone while it is plugged in is a bit tricky
- the "cutout" for the optical trackpad could be a bit larger, it is too small for my average-sized fingers
- very basic black plastic (but it goes nicely with the brown ('Mocca") Wildfire)
Bottomline:
Very handy little stand, I put it next to my monitor so I the phone is always in sight.
