5" Chic Chefs Horizontal Ceramic Knife (12.5CM-Blade)

Pros:

I was very impressed with this knife. It's very professional looking and the block fits right into my modern kitchen design. This knife is high quality. Using this knife is a true pleasure. They have a nice sturdy weight to them and the handles fit comfortably in my hand. Even when I was cutting for a longer amount of time my hands didn't seem to cramp up and tire as quickly.

It was sharper then my classic metal knives. Ceramic knives do have some problems though, the first is that they are fragile. It serves me very well cutting fruits. veggies and meats.

Overall, I highly recommend this knife set.

This knife is well balanced, and has a comfortable grip. 5" (12.5cm.) is a good size for general use in kitchen.

I don´t know if it is my knife but it is much less sharp than others regular steel knifes I have in my kitchen. You can pass your finger along the blade , and you would not be damaged. I am very disappointed. I think this knife is not useful at all. Maybe you could to use it to open envelopes or something so. It took a lot of time to ship the order: order date 9/20/2010. Shipping date 10/24/2010. I received the product on 11/24/2010. It´s too much.
Este cuchillo tiene mucho menos filo que otros cuchillos comunes que tengo en mi cocina. Puedes pasar tu dedo a lo largo del filo y no sufrirás ningún daño. Estoy muy decepcionado. Creo que no es útil para nada. Quizá se podría usar como cortapapeles o algo así. Tomó mucho tiempo en despachar el pedido: fecha del pedido 9/20/2010. Fecha de envío 10/24/2010. Fecha de recepción del pedido: 11/24/2010. Es demasiado tiempo.

Other Thoughts:

A dull knife is useless.
Un cuchillo desafilado no sirve para nada.

Do not recommend buying this knife.
