Pros: It's simply great.
-GREAT build quality, very solid, heavy.
-VERY bright! Brighter than expected. You can see the beam VERY clearly at night.
-EXTREMELY long range. I've got this thing reflecting off clouds at night.

Cons: -Slightly smaller than expected, but that made it more portable so it's not really a con.
-Sometimes when I switch it on, there's a circle around the dot, of glowing static green artifacts. Turn it off and on again a few times, and that goes away.. not sure why that's happening. But it's not a problem, doesn't affect the brightness to a visible degree.

Other Thoughts: Extremely good value for money. And definitely worth the long wait! I'm very pleased with this, and it works underwater too, to create some great effects!

Bottomline: Simply, if you're considering this laser, just buy it. You can spare £15, I'd pay so much more for this thing. Even if you never use it for anything other than playing around when you're bored, it's amazing, you won't believe how awesome this thing is.

Pros: Very good build, but the first one had a glass over the output so could be water proof, second unit no glass! I get 19 - 46 mW and would call 26 mW typical in under 30 sec run. I hoped it would not fade so soon. The first arrived fast and stopped working very soon. The second is looking better, but may die much faster than many other makes. We will see.

Cons: Missing glass on one, cocked module on one that failed fast. I believe some folks got better ones, mine were bad picks.

Other Thoughts: For having an inspection sticker, I think not well inspected.

Bottomline: I won't buy these again.

Pros: Incredible construction quality for the price. Very solid, heavy.

Reasonable price, more than bright enough to use for star pointing. The beam is clearly visible at night, while it shoots through the air.

Has a very sturdy belt clip.

The switch has a very positive tactile feel to it.

No apparent warm up time on my two samples.

Compared to my pair of 30mw models, these are just barely noticeable to be dimmer. Strong beam though, very strong.

Beam is fairly tight. I estimate a 3 inch dot after about 450 feet.

Cons: No infrared filter, according to other posters. Heavier than expected, really solid build, but it's not comfortable in a shirt pocket.

Battery compartment is HUGE compared to the size of the battery. And it has a spring on each end. So the battery goes......which way?

Someone put the laser radiation label over the beautifully etched nameplate.

Other Thoughts: One poster commented on their not being any words etched onto the product as shown in the photos. The nameplate is there, it's just that they placed the laser radiation warning sticker on top of it.

It has a belt clip now, not shown in the pics.

Bottomline: My favorite from DX so far. Get one, if you can. ;) It's a very popular item!

-You can clearly see the beam in the dark.
(You can also see the beam during the day, but it is less visible).

Cons: -The batteries are expensive/hard to find? in my country.
-Did not pop a green balloon (I do not have black balloons yet. (The battery may also have been almost empty when I tried this).

Other Thoughts: -Without the glass thingy on the front, the dot is smaller.

Bottomline: Very impressive laser for a very small price (compared to the other laser shops).

Pros: Strong 20mw laser. Excellent construction, solid click switch, functional belt clip, good heft, feels solid in the hand, clean beam and spot, visible beam with dim lighting during the daytime.

Cons: Nothing of any real significance, the online pictures did not show the clip and mine had no writing or labeling on the body of the casing. These are more observations than anything else, as the belt clip was actually a welcome addition.

Other Thoughts: Outstanding product for the price. The ratings that list complaints about dirty threads or weak belt clips are the product of individuals who are being overly critical given the price of this laser.

Bottomline: An excellent laser for the price with a production quality higher than expected.

Pros: Worked well out of the box and could ping street signs a mile away. Never put it underwater but played with it in the rain quite a few times. It was fun messing with the neighbor's cats from long distances.

Cons: Worked for 3 months then the laser started showing static. Eventually the beam projected a 3ft diameter circle 5ft from the wall. Now its pretty much worthless except for lighting up small rooms.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: Good price for what you get but mine didnt last long. It cheered me up for the weeks that it worked.

Pros: Mine is 52.8mw with an IR filter in front of the Lasercheck by Coherent and 70.6mw with out the IR filter. That's a whopping 52.8mw of 532nm GREEN brilliant for a laser at this price level. Bottomline: It's the dogs nuts BUY IT!!!

Pros: Even though it is 20 mw, the laser beam seems so good. It is like 50 mw. Esopecially at night, the laser beam is so clear.

The most important thing is that, the material is perfect. Not like the ones before i bought from EBAY.

Cons: Nothing.

Other Thoughts: Wish there was much higher mw models of this type. 50 or 100 or 150 mw.

Bottomline: Excellent item.

Pros: If you enjoy the 'feel' of a high quality flashlight and the fun of a laser pointer... This is the greatest!

Cons: Wasn't sure which way to put in the battery at first... Thought maybe it was a dud... Flipped the battery around and... WOW!

Other Thoughts: I have never played with a green laser. The power is amazing. In a lit room, shining ito a shelf of crystal wine glasses it is an instant amazing light show.

Outdoors at night... the beam and the reach of the spot is just unbelievable to the inexperienced... You could win alot of bar bets...
