Pros: well, this is a great product.
it's nice and easy to use.
it has a nice length to it.
Cons: it is NOT goldpatend.
the build quality is not the best. the one i bought is now broken. suddenly it just lost the connection and i had to wiggle it around just to get some music in my ears.
it's a hard fit to the phone, but nothing that damages your phone.
Other Thoughts: well, if you have your phone in your pocket while listen to music like i do, your not going to keep this working for a long time. it should be connected and the lay on a table or a safe place.
Bottomline: buy this if you wanna try out your set of headphones on your SE phone but be careful using it.
overall i'm pleased with this product. the price is amazing and i think i'll buy a new one and take better care of if.... or i'm just going to buy the new HTC desire HD ;P

Pros: This is a good adapter if you do not want to use the slightly long cable that comes with your phone. It is very cheap compared to the original one.
Cons: However, the usebility is somewhat limited because of some simple facts. Another reader also stated this in a different review:
1) It is quite hard to fit on the phone, remarkably harder than the original one.
2) Since this is a copy, the connector does not always attach as it should. Suddenly I loose sound on one side, and have to wiggle it a bit.
3) The cable could be somewhat more flexible.
Other Thoughts: For the price this is probably as good as it gets.
Bottomline: Probably will not buy another one, rather get a phone with a proper jack :)

price ok.
can use any set of headphones you want.

nice black cable.
3.5 mm output can connect a more desirable headset.
Bottomline: must have.
cool addition.
high performance.

Pros: Does what it has to do
Hard to pull out
Flexible Cable
Cons: Bad contact when slightly pulled
Hard to insert
Other Thoughts: Its build quality could be way better, but hey, the damn thing costed me 1.34 $ :P
Bottomline: A must-have for everyone with a SE phone.
I bought this because the earphones who came with my K750i are too big to fit in my ears. With this thingy I can connect my Sennheiser headphones, it sounds AMAZING. You can't notice the difference between my Creative ZEN X-fi and my K750i (in sound quality)
When you need it, BUY IT!

Pros: For this price you can´t go wrong.
If yours broke just buy it it´s loads of times cheapers then any orignal SE and even cheaper then any other crappy fake.
Works fine with loats of SE models.
Cons: It don´t have mic but want do you want ?
Contacts are not gold plated but the original SE aren´t either and for this price
The only really con is that the build quality is that could so if plan on pulling it out and putting it in alot i would recommend looking for a sturdier one or buy two or three
Bottomline: If you need buy it if not just in case buy it too ^^

Pros: - Ten times cheaper than you can found in traditional shops.
- Easy to use, and you can adapt a lot of kinds of earphones.
Cons: - Build quality is not so good, it doesn't seem very ressitant, in fact mine broke after two months using it.
- It is difficult to connect it, at least to my telephone, Sony ericsson 530i, but when you connected it works fine.
- Somtimes it disconnects without touch it, maybe because it wasn't connected very good.
Bottomline: - Cheap, cheap, cheap!!!
- It works, but in my opinion should be more ressistant.

Pros: It works as a radio antenna without add any more cables or headphones, simply connect it and select your radio dial Very cheap, mates ¡¡ The best way to save cash on original and expensive headphones Easy use Cheapest adaptor I found on the web I carry it always in my pockets It is perfect for listening the football match from the radio with friends, beer and the TV on mute
Cons: A little bit hard to pull out but not for connect, in my case. You are not able to use it as a handsfree, but you will save a lot in original headphones ¡¡ It takes a few days on arrive, but here in Spain we are get used to our postal service
Other Thoughts: Simple, if you got a psp, and this adaptor, you don´t need any more headphones for your phone than the psp ones..ok, but yo will not be able to answer calls, I know, that is why I have a headphones with a microphone, jeje.
Bottomline: I have been using this for six months or more, no problem untill this time, it is worth to give it a try, I think you will not be dissappointed at all.

Pros: - Price - Clever substitute for original headphones - Works as radio antenna (as original headphones)
Cons: - Hard to connect and to pull out. The fixtures are thicker than the original ones. For me this is almost a "pro" because I hated how easily the originals got disconnected when I put the phone in my pocket - No microphone
Other Thoughts: - Cable is not as flexible as the original (irrelevant to me) - No volume control (the original one doesn't have it either)
Bottomline: Worked pretty well for me so far. I've had a couple of original headphones and somehow they start to get loose contacts and only work on one side after a while. I finally got tired of spending money on it, bought one of these guys and a pair of Seenheisers and I've been very pleased so far.

Pros: It's the simply solution to add a standard 3,5 mm jack to your Sony Ericsson mobile phone. Works with all models that have the Fastport connector. The lenght of the cable is the necessary and correct. Not too much longer and not too much short. Fits the mobile phone connector with two sideburns of plastic that adjust the pins to make a correct contact and it's imposible to remove it accidentally.
Other Thoughts: You don't need more than what it offers for it's price.
Bottomline: You won't be disappointed if you buy it.

Pros: Pros: - for Sony ericssson mobile phone owners, in my case works perfectly on both SE phones I own, z530i and w910i, cheap, simple, small... could have better build but fits my needs
Cons: Cons: built could be a bit better............ the wire tends to give interference in a short period
Other Thoughts: new SE phones already comes with original adapters but if you have an old fella its wort buying it.
Bottomline: bottom line:: - if you need an adapter................. this is the one to get. SE original adapters are way to expensive and built is not that much better.

Pros: Works fine on my w810, it place better on my phone than the original from Ericsson, which broke. Bought together with a sku.3396 and they are great together, even better the originals from Ericsson. Português: Funciona muito bem, usando ele com meu W810, inclusive encaixa melhor que o original que quebrou os pinos que encaixam no celular.
Cons: The cable is a little short and cord false spin sometimes. You can't use it while making a call too, because it doesnt have a microphone. Português: O fio é meio curto mas nada que atrapalhe, mas precisa de um fone com um fio de bom tamanho também. Ele não tem microfone, então precisa desconectar pra atender ou fazer chamada.
Bottomline: Anyway, for the price and condition, this was a good option for me, just using it everyday on the bus makes me happy.

Pros: - Other reviewer stated that this product crashes his phone. It doesn't freeze or crash my Z530i. - This adapter requires more force to be connected, which also means that it requires more force to be removed, which is a good thing in the case of connecting headphones or earphones, I've frequently been annoyed by headphones disconnecting due to weak connectors.
Other Thoughts: This isn't really a handsfree adapter, but just a 3.5 audio adapter, because it doesn't have a built in microphone, but it is possible to see that in the pictures, and I myself don't use handsfree anyways.
Bottomline: Great for listening music on your SE phone.

Pros: Got this useful connector to connect my own headphone to the phone as the cable bundled with the K800i is not very sound proof.
Cons: The wire used is slightly thin, but if it broke, i'll get another one.
Other Thoughts: I got this to listen to music and podcast while commuting. This allows me to connect my own better headphone and so I wouldn't have to crank up the volume as much. i think i can also use it to connect my phone to the car sterao system when i drive, but i hadn't tried that.
Bottomline: If you need it, buy it!

Pros: - cheap - work on other Sony Ericsson phones, e.g. I have also used this on my w810i with success - can be used as a radio antenna
Cons: - For some reason this adapter often causes my phone to either freeze or restart. This doesnt happen with other adapters I have - Build quality, e.g. the plastic used, could be better - Requires more force than necessary on my other adapters to connect
Other Thoughts: - could maybe be a bit longer
Bottomline: - Useful adapter for using headphones with my mobile phone. I have had some issues with the adapter restarting or freezing my phone, but once it is connected this works well as it is intended, with real change in sound quality

Pros: - It works perfectly! - It adjust perfectly in my Sony Ericsson W610i. So I think Dealextreme has to change the name of this product because many Sony Ericsson models can use this product! - The size is perfect to me that uses in my car sound!
Cons: It is a bit hard to connect in the first time.
Bottomline: I bought this one because my original broken and this is perfectly like the original ones without a microphone. I never use the microphone, so for me is perfect but if you want a handsfree don't buy this product.

Pros: Gave it to my friend and it worked perfectly on her K750 phone; Did not cost much.
Cons: none, worked as expected
Other Thoughts: I received this just yesterday and originally bought it for my Z600 and T310 sony ericsson cellular phones. I then found out that it actually uses a new connector that is different than the older T28 style connector. I gave it to my friend and it worked on her K750 phone.
Bottomline: its very affordable and even though I gave away mine, I might order another one in case I get a more newer ericsson phone!

Pros: This item works great on my Sony Ericsson K530i. This will work on many Sony Ericsson phones with the wide power adaptor such as K800, W660i ect. I originally bought a cheap headphone adaptor like this one off ebay but it was terrible quality. While listening to music on my headphones the ebay one kept popping out of the phone socket on one side and it would stop the music playing. This DX product has a nice tight fit in my phone and does not pop out. I have since thrown out the crappy ebay product. Also worth mentioning is that the plastic plug of the DX one is a bit less bulky than the ebay one.
Cons: The cord looks a bit thin gauge but then it works fine and for such a cheap price who cares.
Bottomline: Great headphone/speaker/car audio adaptor for playing music from your Sony Ericsson phone. I would say if you don't have one buy it!

Pros: Cheap adapter, works well. This is my second one (first one broke), and it turns out they've changed the design a bit. The wire is thinner, the 3.5mm end is longer but thinner, the metal piece no longer sticks out. For the fatport connector, there are less pins, and the plastic piece is smaller (width wise). Also, the earphone logo is right-side up now.
Cons: Not much, except that my previous one broke due to wiring (but given what I paid for it, I really can't complain).
Other Thoughts: Works with K850i.
Bottomline: Definitely worth it. Any money is better spent on a 3.5mm headphones then proprietary (and expensive) Sony junk.

Pros: It does what is supposed to. You can plug any phone with this adapter, it's very useful, and it's not very expansive. Worked on my K530i.
Cons: you can't use it to talk on the phone , Cheap material, the plastic is hard and is also hard to fit in your phone, and the little pins are so thin that they are easy to break.
Other Thoughts: A good option to let you use your own headphones or to act as a line out to play your phone through car stereo, home stereo etc. also it's works for w580i too
Bottomline: It comes very handy, and it does its work

Pros: Well is does the work, and it fits my k800. Other people say that it is reversed on that phone, but for me it is not - then inserted the wire point to the direction in which the cameca cover opens. My real handsfree points the same direction when inserted ;) Other good thing is that when only the adapter is inserted (withouth headphones on the other end) it activates the handsfree profile, so you can use the radio, even if you haven't inserted real headphones I said it in the cons box, but it is not so bad in fact - inserting is hard, and the pulling out is also hard, so there is no chance of it getting out incidentally, as my real headphone does
Cons: - inserting it in the phone is hard, pulling it out also - on the place where the wire enters the adapter to the phone, there was no glue, or little glue - so i can turn the cable freely, and if i force it, it will snap...
Bottomline: It comes very handy, and it does its work

Pros: It does what is supposed to. You can plug any phone with this adapter, it's very useful, and it's not very expansive. Worked on my K800i.
Cons: Well, it worked on my K800i, but it's pretty hard to get it working. It's a bit hard to plug it, it looks like I'm 'forcing' it to plug, and it doesn't recognize immediately. I need to plug and unplug a lot of times, and need to "spin" it sometimes. But after some time you just get used to it and it's very good.
Other Thoughts: It has more pros than cons, and I don't know if the my problem suits on all other adapters as well, maybe mine got screwed somehow, so I think it's a very good deal, you need to buy it.
Bottomline: That's all, buy it right now.

Pros: - Cheap - Works as advertised - Build is acceptable
Cons: - Very slight cosmetic blemishes
Other Thoughts: Perhaps I got lucky with my copy, but I don't have any problems with the build quality. The pins don't look any thinner or more fragile than the OEM stuff to the naked eye, and it feels as sturdy as the OEM stuff as well. However if you examine it closely, you'll notice that there are some cosmetic irregularities on the fastport connector, possibly caused by the use of a crappy mold or being smushed while in transit. Then again, you'll pick up worse wear and tear marks in a few days if you stick your phone in your pocket.
Bottomline: This is a bargain. Get one! If you're still concerned about how it'll hold up with use, buy two or more as spares!

Pros: - It works fine, I've used it with my Sony-Ericsson K750i. - It's very cheap.
Cons: - The first time I used it, I didn't get it, because it's not the same as my normal adapter. You have to use it in reverse (backwards), it was a bit confusing. - The plastic is poor. - It doesn't fit very well with my K750i.
Other Thoughts: It's great, I don't use it that much.
Bottomline: It has a couple of cons, but it is so cheap. So I don't see very much problems. Just buy it if you need a cheap solution. I prefer this to the orginal not very well fitting k750i-earphones.

Pros: - price is fair, it can't be really cheaper than in here - low build quality is actually good that pins are really strongly attached to the phone when connected - no shaking of adapter, so its proof for dropouts in audio or some bugs, or even disconnecting pins which signalise to the phone that handsfree is connected (=> loud playback on built-in speaker)
Cons: - bought one, recieved broken one - works only right channel, very bad quality of signal, signal is weak (low volume)
Bottomline: - buy two or three pieces to be sure that one will work at least

Pros: - Cheap - Not hard to understand - Can be useful if you lost your old one
Cons: - Cheap material, the plastic is hard and is also hard to fit in your phone, and the little pins are so thin that they are easy to break.
Other Thoughts: I also tried using this for de K800i and it's barely fitting at all, even worse than de K750. Also this could have a FM receiver, just like the original one. And it seems that we usually use 2.5mm here so I had to buy some new earphones..
Bottomline: Can do the job but it is cheap stuff so don't expect the quality to be the best.

Pros: It does the job. Works fine with my K750..............................................................................................................................................................
Cons: The build quality is very poor. It's quite easy to bend the pins and the whole assembly easily pulls apart exposing the very thin wires inside............................................................................................................................................................
Other Thoughts: As long as you're careful with the plug it's fine.
Bottomline: Very cheap and does the job.

Pros: It seems to be very sturdy built, or at least was much sturdier than I had expected. It works very well with my sony ericsson S500i cell phone! I hadn't really expected it to work as it wasn't for this phone but I took my chances seeing how incredibly cheap it was! Where I live in Stockholm, Sweden, these adapters can cost up to $30! This was a bargain.
Cons: Although it was very sturdy it was also rather hard to insert the phone adapter into the cellphone and the audio cord into the audio adapter. This is hardly a con however and could have something to do with me not using the correct phone it's advertised for. The phone plug goes in backwards so the earphone logo is the opposite way. Once again though, it's really just a minor flaw which probably also is because of me using the wrong cell phone.
Other Thoughts: Just great! :) I recommend anyone looking for a similar to buy one. It also only took five working days for them to ship it which is crasy fast! This was with regular shipping.
Bottomline: Great, buy it now!

Pros: Gives the consumer some flack against prioritary jacks. Pretty solid build.
Cons: Hard as HELL to stick into my phone (K850)! Felt like I was breaking it for sure. Hard to pull out too. But it fits fine, and I think it just needs to be "burned in". The jack's backwards. Kind of annoying since my fat port is at the bottom of the phone, and now the cord gets in the way. Not a huge deal..
Other Thoughts: Adapter's probably backwards since it wasn't specifically made for many of the other SE phones, ie k850.
Bottomline: Buy them! ..Not that you could really find these anywhere else for a decent price.

Pros: This is interesting to have found out after the fact of purchasing and receiving the product that the symbol was written on the wrong side, i thought this might have caused complications, because it did not work but then when i flipped it, it words fine and personally, i wanted one that was placed so the wire faces the opposite way, so for me it was great.
Cons: none that i can really thinkk of right now but it does seem like cheap build but to be expected from this place nowadays....
Other Thoughts: I'm using it with my w880i, w580i, k790a. works with ALL my headphones, sure, boss, dx kinds, se ones
Bottomline: get it if that's what you're lookign for.

Pros: - allows use of your good headphones - small, short cable - black color (matches more phones than a gray one) - quite good build quality
Cons: - the connector is too tight (fits but some small force is needed)
Other Thoughts: - no microphone, hence no calls possible
Bottomline: Overall good build quality, albeit it's not unbreakable - after a couple of months it still works, but I have some issues - sometimes I have to move the cable to hear the sound (note: similar adapters I've bought elsewhere broke after a few days(!)). The connector is tight and needs to be disconnected when making a call - I wish it would be possible to use the in-phone mic and the headphones simultaneously. Original SE accessories are overpriced, so for the price this item is unbeatable.
