Pros: - Excellent craftsmanship on this tool, given the price. - Great finish on the handle. - Bright. Very much so. - Range is impressive. We've hit the side of an apartment building a few blocks away and the dot was quite visible.
Cons: - Perhaps too bright. We planned to use it as a cat toy, but find that it gets overly bright in a dark room so use it mostly in the daytime now, reverting back to a cheap red laser in the evenings.
Other Thoughts: Was shipped to Canada and looked over by customs office before it was sent my way.
Bottomline: Scary beautiful

Pros: The laser is cheap, pretty bright dot, at night you can see it so far away, is easy to handle it, is made well with a good material, the buttom is easy to be pressed, cames with baterys, it's easy to change the baterys, cames in a pretty beautiful case
Cons: The baterys don't last much long(the ones that came with the lase, the ones I changed are the not much long there)
Bottomline: It's a great laser for a good price, you will have much fun using it, I recommend this product, if you want a green pointe with a good price it's

Pros: I've had this quite a while, and it works really well. No need to go for any more power as any more would be quite dangerous. The focus is quite accurate and the spot can be seen for a very great distance. Diode Lasers have lenses built in, so focus is important (unlike gas lasers).
Cons: I measured the current drain at 500ma, which is too much for AAA batteries, and they don't last long. So I removed them and wired it up to a 3.6v Li-ion cellphone battery. Now it's brighter than ever (though it could reduce it's life!)
Other Thoughts: When replacing batteries (or wiring to another power source) remember the center spring terminal is negative, the case is positive, so you don't blow it.
Bottomline: Lots of fun for the money. Don't point it at anyone, especially a plane, unless you want to see what the inside of a jail cell is like.

Pros: long distance(longer distance than expected) probably more power than advertized you can see the beam in the sky at night it comes with the batteries
Cons: botton wriggles a little after a couple of days bateries tend to heat up batteries move around on the inside batteries that it comes with die pretty quickly took me 30 days to get to me
Other Thoughts: fun to mess around with it when i get my bb rifle i am going to put the laser on it well see how that goes i know ill be able to see it but it might be a little too bright
Bottomline: you should get it

Pros: Ótimo brinquedo para adultos. É bem legal mirar pro ceu pra desenhar as constelações Fun gadget. It's cool to aim at the sky to see constelations and stuff.
Cons: Se vc segurar um tempo pressionado, a luz diminui um pouco, mas é só desligar... aguardar alguns segundos e volta ao normal. After a few seconds qithe the button pressed, laser light decreases. But if you turn of and wait a few seconds, it's normal again.
Other Thoughts: O laser vem numa caixinha bem bacana até para dar de presente. bem caprichadinho e tals. It comes with a nice package. it's cool to you give as a gift

Pros: A good qality laser in gernal whit nice design. I like the packaging and that there was 2 batteries included. The lasers beam is clearly visible at night and it looks awesome at fogy nights outdoor. It´s verry simple to get started whit it when you got it, just install the batterys and push the button
Cons: Sometimes you need to clean it inside when it gets dirty at the poles where the battery connects. But when it´s done the lasers feels like new. Also if it gets dirty at the lens it´s hard to clean but it´s still possible whit compressed air. Some of the lasers have different quality and power that really effects its function.
Other Thoughts: Í think it would be awesome to be able to remove the top cover to be able to clean it easier, like after you had it in you pocket. Otherwise i have no other thougs abbout the laser more than it´s awsome.
Bottomline: Go get the laser before its to late xD If it will be to late :)

Cons: -The batteries rattle around inside the laser. -My laser pen's buttom was stuck, and now it does not work..
Other Thoughts: Well i think it is a really good pen, but i just got a defect laser
Bottomline: Buy this laser if you always wanted one but was never really sure, i had fun the 10 minutes i used mine before it stopped working..

Pros: It is stylish. It is powerful, more than 5mW. The beam is visible at night. It can burn black plastic with fully charged batteries, and pop balloons. It takes 2 AAA batteries which are easy to find and cheap. It comes with 2 AAA's too, to use right out of the box. The laser is cheap for it's brightness and power. It comes in a black cardboard magnetic flap box which has a foam cutout for the laser and two batteries. It is made better than the normal green laser pens of the same design which you would be used to see. The laser module is underdriven and it is good quality.
Cons: Unfortunately it is bit mode hopping. Another thing I noticed is that when ou first press the button, it is very very bright, like 50mW of green, but then decreases to about 10-15mW after a few seconds. And this laser does not have a very good IR filter so invisible IR light is emitted. Hence, the burning power.
Other Thoughts: After a warm up it comes back to a similar brightness of 50mW (maybe a little dimmer, but oh well). The IR problem is easily fixed by adding a cheap IR filter. I have had this since June 2011 and it still works as charm.
Bottomline: Buy it! Buy it! Buy it! I recommend his laser to start off, it is so cheap you would want to buy more for your friends!

Pros: Received three of these a little over a day ago. All worked. They arrive packed in magnetically-latched boxes of thick cardboard, with foam liners and cutouts to hold the pointers and (included) batteries. Packed well enough that they should never be damaged in shipment. Unit feels solid and heavy, and the matte-black finish is well done. Almost feels like a satin "grip" finish. Green laser output is well-focused and collimated, with very little spill outside the dot. If this is your first green laser, you will be surprised at the range you can achieve with only 5 milliwatts - I can easily see the dot on trees and buildings several hundred yards away. Also, the beam itself is somewhat visible as it cuts through the air, and it "sparkles" as tiny dust particles float into its path.
Cons: Threads which join the head/switch to the battery tube are just a little bit sloppy - hopefully they will stand up to long use. Just be careful not to cross-thread when assembling. Requires a half-second or so for laser output to increase to max after the button is pushed. This is not unusual for green pointers. All three of my units exhibit varying degrees of mixed modes - sometimes the dot will separate into two, then merge again after a few seconds of operation. This is difficult or impossible to see when looking at the focused dot because it is so small - it only appears to be slightly less small when modeing. In order to observe the effect more easily, you have to shine the beam through a spreading lens. Shine it on a wall, through the lens on a 10X eye loupe, and you will probably see the mode effect maybe 5% to 10% of the time
Other Thoughts: I bought three of these because I'm planning to do some mods, such as replacing the guts with higher-powered modules (can't order completed high-power pointers from the US). I have not yet received my modules, so can't report on the compatibility of this host with other modules sold by DX.
Bottomline: I'm really impressed with the functionality and build quality at this price point.

Pros: -Laser is a lot brighter than I expected -The beam goes a long distance -The beam is visible in low light conditions, excellent for astronomy.
Cons: -The threaded part of the laser is of poor quality and it is easy the cross thread (This is only a problem when you are changing the batteries). -The batteries rattle around inside the laser.( This was easily fixed by putting a piece of rolled-up paper inside the laser). -The intensity of the laser fluctuates. This is normally only during the first couple of seconds after the laser is turn on and is only noticeable at night. However, occasionally the brightness randomly decreases for a couple of seconds before returning to its maximum brightness.
Bottomline: This is a good bright laser for its price. I would defiantly recommend it to anyone.

Pros: Beam is bright enough at night and well focused. Uses cheap AAA cells. Easy to install and use. Good for astronomy: you can trace stars or clouds.
Cons: Unstable power: it changes in time. Once you pressed the button, beam appeared bright, then in 5-10 seconds it becomes to pale and after 40 seconds again becomes brighter. It's very inconvenient when you use it at presentation. Not recommended for this purpose. Batteries inside rumble when i shake the laserpointer.
Bottomline: Good price for laser toy. Can not be used as serious laser pointer at lecture or presentation.

Pros: - Features a Bright dot might even hurt your eyes if you stare at it for an extended period of time. - GOES A LONG DISTANCE; I have yet to find something out of range. - Uses standard AAA batteries which can be bought off DX or any retailer in North America - Easy to use; press a button and it works - VISIBLE BEAM: The beam is visible in low light and at night. The beam can also be seen when there is dust or fog - You can point the beam in the sky and the laser looks like a lightsaber - Feels high quality with a velvety feel - Easily impresses everyone :)
Cons: - The batteries jiggle around in the laser - Doesn't burn things but I knew this when I bought it - The dot sometimes gets weaker as the batteries jiggle around and sometimes cuts out (can be fixed with a paper in the tube)
Other Thoughts: Refracting the laser of refractive and reflective materials is a lot of fun. If you point it at a light bulb then it turns green if it's not on. Can be used a night light pretty well.
Bottomline: I highly recommend this laser as your first high powered laser, it won't blind you if you are careful unlike stronger ones. The dot is really bright.

Pros: it is a VERY bright green laser pointer that uses two, AAA batteries rather than the watch batteries, which is always a plus. the intensity is very high, which makes it that must more dangerous. excellent item
Cons: build quality is not the best. once the batteries are inserted, as you are using the laser, you can feel/hear the batteries rattle around inside. other than that, it works beautifully
Other Thoughts: excellent for work, or public speaking. much more intense and noticeable than the conventional red laser.
Bottomline: great item for cheap price - AAA batteries make it more attractive as they are cheaper and easier to find for replacements.

Pros: Fantastic tool for a lot of things: such as a star-pointing tool, laser aim and flashlight! Yes, i said flashlight, and thats because. It's bright enough to be! It could nearly reach the same light-level, as my normal room-lamp! Plus the battery-use is very low. I been using it for a least, 4 hours in total. With only the first pair of batteries, that came in this nice and small storage-box.
Cons: Even through its awesome, there is some minor problems: When i had one of my friends, visiting me some day. He just had to do something stupid, and pulled the screwing-part from the battery-part. (surely because, the glue was to weak) But even through it's pretty annoying, to set it together every 2 second! Its not too bad. _____________________________________________ You need to hold the button, for the laser to be showed. (it can be pretty hard, to use as a laser aim) And i know my cons-part, was bigger than the pros-part. But as i said before, it is the best laser i ever had!
Other Thoughts: To describe the laser in one word: AWESOME! Good for all who want a good looking, cheap, good quality and powerful green laser.
Bottomline: (whoops can't find more to say, about this awesome product. Just see above)

Pros: For indoor use this is seriously bright, it lights up a dark room, even a bit too bright if you ask me. For outdoor use it's easy visible for at least 1 Kilometer, i can trace the beam for the full length, even when it's not foggy! When set up it has a good grip. AAA Battery's are easy to get.
Cons: The thread is a bit rough. The battery's rumble when i shake the laserpointer.
Bottomline: Great bang for the buck! get this as a cheap toy to play with your cats or fooling around, just don't look into it.

Cons: - Battery is empty after 1 day of use - When the battery is halfway, the light starts to flutter and the brightness changes second to second - Don't shine people in their eyes...
Other Thoughts: I've had red lasers before, but those are 10 times better. I think the range is about 1 kilometer.
Bottomline: Just buy it, it's an awesome price and the range & power is the best ever! Just bully your neighbours of use it with your pet.

Pros: This is one of "toys" each kid would like to have. No matter will you be pointing to sky, building, board or people its so fun to use! 5mW is not really dangerous but still produces nice beam and small dot.
Cons: It doesn't have any, really. It just does what it should.
Other Thoughts: Its a perfect present for any boy and its great to bring with ya on wild parties.
Bottomline: Grab it and you won't regret. But have on mind, this is only 5mW. If you wanna burn matches, get 30+ mW and have on mind, those are dangerous.

Pros: Cheap green laser, points very far, visible beam during night, great for first time green laser owners to get a feel of one. Comes with batteries supplied, uses AAA batteries that are very easy to find, supplied box fits the lasers well and cut outs for batteries.
Cons: When screwing the laser, it is rough and squeaky. Other then that the rest of the laser feels solid and durable.
Other Thoughts: In my opinion,The warning label should be green not red. But it does not bother me much.
Bottomline: If you are looking for a green laser or want to try one, this is the one to buy. Low price, uses common batteries and it points really far. Great for star gazing, presentations at a long distance, much better then red ones.

Pros: It is a good laser to a very cheap price. It is powerful enough to point to the stars on a clear night and has enough range to point cualuier something that interests you. The finished product is very good and also materials, is covered with rubber which is very nice in the hand.
Cons: The only thing I can say against this product is not recommended for children, although not as powerful to be hazardous to health.
Other Thoughts: It comes with AAA batteries included in the package which is very well since you can use as they receive.
Bottomline: It has good quality without being too much weight which gives it a sturdy and durable.

Pros: Got my laser a week ago. Three pieces. Dot is nice and visible in the day time. Takes a litle time to get to ful power(just a second or so). At night beam is visble, go very far. All three laser work good no damage.
Cons: Nothing. Works nice no probleme.
Other Thoughts: Maybe make a nice cheap laser like this but with a charger and built in battery. I know u can recharge batteries with battery charger but not everone have. I think this would make a even better gift/resell
Bottomline: I like this laser very much. Because of packing and included bateries, this with cheap price and fast delivery make good for gift or resell. I will be order more in the future

Pros: Awesone, useful, bright, cheap and does the job. The beam is strong laser and produces a bright green dot (almost too bright at close range). AAA batteries FTW! Easy to find and replace. No need for special orders there. Nice elegant box (although, see Cons..). Shipped very fast and arrived just in time before I start lecturing.
Cons: I didn't like the way the nice elegant box was wrapped with sticky tape which is hard to remove and hurting the cover (which is cardboard based). Other than that minor complaint, no cons from me.
Bottomline: Great product.

Pros: It is an okay laser. It works as soon as u put in the batteries in. Good quality and build. It isn't plastic! It also comes with batteries (AAA) :) It is really bright, like lights up the entire room when its dark. Has a really nice green colour to it.
Cons: YOU CAN'T SEE THE BEAM :( Oh well. I was really hoping for the beam lol. Other then that, none.
Other Thoughts: Very fun to play with
Bottomline: Why not buy it, its only 10$ and not a bad product. Instead of using those bad dollar store red lasers that have barely a dot.

Pros: build quality / price ratio is more that optimal. Comes with batteries, works immediatellu and works pretty fine - gives bright, green point visible on alll surfaces in long range distance
Cons: please, consider that it works perfect between 20 - 35 degrees Celsiuss. If you go outside in the cold evening, brightness of the beam will visibly go down
Other Thoughts: none, for the price is a good deal. Is not top quality product, but it fots most of average products like that with much better pricing
Bottomline: really makes impression as a presentation pointer, works fine in ambient temperature

Pros: - The laser comes with fine batteries. - Clear and bright laser beam at night. - Good build quality, design looks solid and laser pretty heavy with batteries. - Long distance.
Cons: - Box made with cheap carton, when I removed the tape, it's tears a little of the box - After you put the batteries in, it takes a few minutes to warm up. - If i shake the pointer i can hear the batteries inside the laser pointer. - High power decrease in cold temperatures.
Other Thoughts: Can have a lot of fun with it.
Bottomline: Would buy it again. Pretty good laser pointer for reasonable price.

Pros: it is Solid made, it has a green beam, it have a strong light, it uses AAA instead coin batteries; it came very well packed. I am going to use it mainly for presentation purposes, so its power exceeds by far what I need. I was kind of tired of weak laser pointers and failing batteries.
Cons: The batteries that comes with the pointer are very cheap. So it lasts very little.
Other Thoughts: I am going to use it mainly for presentation purposes, so its power exceeds by far what I need. I was kind of tired of weak laser pointers and failing batteries.
Bottomline: It was a great buy and makes an excellent gift.

Pros: You get what you buy! It was true green laser, and they have 5mW for sure. The box have batteries and instructions paper. Less than 5 seconds to reach maximum light. Good to impress friends at night. Nice construction, feels solid.
Cons: The batteries are not full charge. Put some duracell bateries to archive maximum beam light. Some times it have focus problems, the beam is disperced, but it can be good sometimes, like smoke machines, you get a gian beam, like star wars jedi. Dont use too much strenght at the button, it can start to be sensible and start to loss response, and you dont want that, just a tip.
Other Thoughts: Very nice christmas present to a teacher or some turist guide guy. You can play all night kidding with this laser, but its not a toy, watch the eyes and cars. It can blind temporary if swipe throught anybodys vision.
Bottomline: Nice gift, nice product, very happy costumer :)

Pros: It seems to be a great laser, atleast in my point of view which aren't used to lasers. It lights very well and can do a kilometer or 2 under good circumstances, and the AAA batteries are very easy to find
Cons: My "on/off" button is a bit defect, i have to press it in a specific way to get it to light, but i learned after 5 minutes. Also when i just got it it had been in my mailbox in about -2 celcuis, and then it lighted really bad, But went great as i came inside and heated it up. But i think it can be the batteries, because batteries can get "bad" in cold.
Other Thoughts: I love it, i had fun pointing on my teacher (wich i should not do ofcourse) And i looks awesome to point in the dark with, you can see it far in the sky.
Bottomline: I brought 5 more the nextcoming day for my friends, they loved them aswell, very priceworthy.
