Crystal Case for iPod Classic

Pros:

* Fits perfectly in my Classic ipod (120gb);
* It offers a very good protection, especially in the lcd screen;
* Its easy to use.

Cons:

* Its harder to use the ipod wheel with this case, especially when you need to scroll fast to find something and when you are playing games like vortex;
* The phone Connector hole is very small, it fits well the original Ipod phone. But i had some problems with third part phones, with larger connector;

Bottomline:

* It worths the price: offer great protection with a small price;

Pros:

- Build quality is decent
- Protects the Apple Ipod from almost anything except dropping it.
- Way cheaper then the cases you see at the Apple store and does the same task.

Cons:

- Does not fit on the Apple 80GB Classic.
- Doesn't look all that great but does the trick regardless.

Other Thoughts:

Purchased to put on my Apple Ipod 80gigabyte and the case is slightly to big, so I have absolutely no use for it.
I would definitively recommend purchasing this case for your Ipod just make sure yours is the same for this one.

I bought this case around a 3-4 days ago and so far it seems to be very strong and it protects my ipod from drops and liquids. The case is a nice fit for my 80gb ipod classic im not sure how well it will fit a 120gb. The price is unbelievable for a case that would regularly be sold for anywhere between $20-$30 in stores.
I like how it comes with a nice strap that u can tie on to it so u can put it around ur neck when ur exercising.

Cons:

Theres only a few minor things that bother me with this case. The hold button is hard to use sometimes u really have to push hard unless u can make it stay aligned with the hold slider they built for it. another thing is that is really makes ur ipod seem bigger and heavier than it actually is, not by much but still it makes it bigger. I also wouldn't recommend using the strap if ur running because it doesnt hit ur chest alot and since its a heavy ipod it could slowly start hurting ur chest.

Overall i think that this ipod case is ideal for someone like me who has an 80gb ipod classic and drops it alot. Because the classice is essentially a hard drive it isvery sensitive to being dropped so i recommend u get this.

My final thoughts about this is that pros out weigh the cons by far and its a great product and hey even if u dont like it, its only $4 so really what do u have to loose. I say its better to buy it for $4 and hate it then buy it for $30 and hate it, right?

this is a good fitting case for my ipod classic 80gb. also fits the missis's 120gb ipod, but she cant have the case so tough. its a good fit, and i can use the touch wheel on it better than in the silicone cases i've bought... wont let me use the radio thingy in the car because the headphone hole is a wee bit small, nothing a knife cant fix.

Pros:

It is the best iPod case sold on DX. Great design, lets use dock accessories (such as FM transmitters), keeps the ipod realle secure and it is rather sturdy. Great packaging, comes in a blister, packaging still looks "made in China" but it is better than the others that come in simple plastic bags.

Cons:

None really. The lock button was a little hard to use, but I solved the problem (check other thoughts)

Other Thoughts:

The lock button was rather hard. It has to be installed in the proper position to work. If you have short nails, it´s hard to operate the lock button without tools. However, I discovered by accident how to improve its use. I removed the buttom from the case (it just snaps in and out) and reinstalled it, now it works flawlessly.
Remember that the switch on the case has to be in exactly the same position as the lock switch on the ipod to work ok.

Bottomline:

As I said in the review title, it is the best iPod case sold in DX. Buy this and you shall not regret it.

Pros:

+ perfect fit for both 80 and 120 GB iPod classic

- Connection cables do not fit the space of the case
- Applying a neckcord is hard because the opening is just a bit too small.
- Possible scratching when taking iPod out

Bottomline:

Good money for value but could and should be improved regarding openings for neckcord and connections. Then I would definitely order at least 3 more.

Pros:

Protect the screen and the Ipod as described. A 80GB fit well in it.

Cons:

Clip on top to lock the Ipod is hard to use. I really dislike that part. Should be better design.
Also, I can't use my iTalk microphone with the casing. The casing is too tick. I get no contact at the dock so it is a really really bad design to use with some dock option.

They should solve that two really anoying problem. a small extension cable as for USB device should be disponible to solve partially that problem.

The product is doing partially what it suppose but with several major flaw in the design.

Good clear casing to use on ipod, my ipod is already scratched up, but this should help prevent it from scratchin any further.

This is a good case for your iPod. It works with iPod from 30gb till 120 gb. If ordered two of these cases and I will order more when one is broken (fallen or something like that)

Cons:

The top closure of the case is a little bit fragile. But it's just a investment of less then 4 dollars. When you buy such a thing in the shops in the Netherlands you pay 30 euros!

Youll have to put your iPod in and leave it there. Dust will gather between the back of the iPod and the back of the case.
You put your iPod in sliding and take it out the same way. The dust gathered between the case and the iPod will scratch the mirror finish on the back while doing this.

Take your iPod out as little as possible!

Good case for the 6th generation 80GB iPod Classic and the 7th generation 120GB iPod Classic. Item is very cheap. iPod cases purchased at the local store will probably cost 3 to 5 times as much as you will pay over here and will do the same thing.

Cons:

Doesn't work on the 6th generation 160 GB iPod.

This is a great protective case for IPod Classic. It protects the entire IPod, including the screen. It's very resistant and looks great. Now I can fell that my Ipod is safe against accidental falls.

- It's very resistent. Looks like it will protect my 80 Gb Ipod for quite a long time.
- Fits perfectlly! Not a tine space left
- Protects the screen of Ipod. When I bought, I thought the area of the screen was open because that's what is shown on one of the pictures of this products. Lucklly for me, because when I handed it over to a friend see, he grabbed it with a finger in the center of the screen.

Cons:

- The openning is at the top of the case, and I though kind of hard to open. I better not take the Ipod in and out of the case for no reason, because I'm afraid the opening might break.
- Since it fit perfectlly, to take the Ipod out of the case I had to push it a litlle throught the bottom opening (the dock connector).

Pros:

- Cheap and good quality
- The LCD of the iPod is covered. The casing provides protection and yet is clear enough
- The click wheel is not covered, giving direct access to the wheel
- The connector at the bottom is accessible, easy to plug in the cable or just slide onto a dock
- Fits the iPod (I'm using 80GB) very well, yet it is easy enough to remove the iPod should there be a need to
- On the top, there is a slider that clips onto the hold slider of the iPod, making it easy to flip the switch (unlike other cases)

Cons:

- The top part is held to the body by two little clips. Not sure how long they will last if the casing is opened frequently
- The casing adds some thickness to the top, so some earphones may not be able to plug into the iPod. If the earphone has a 'straight' plug, it will probably work, but if it is an 'L' shape one, you may need an extension cable (with a straight plug).
- My casing has a tiny black dot on the LCD area. Made me worried that my LCD developed a dead pixel :) The dot is hard to remove and I didn't want to risk scratching the case so I just let it be. This shouldn't be a common problem.

Other Thoughts:

- I had another crystal casing that came as free gift with my iPod. It's an expensive one, able to fit iPods of different thickness. I find that too bulky. This cheap one does the job much better.

- If you need a crystal case, this will serve you well.

- Cheap as chips. Bargain compared to other protective cases in high-street shops here in Dublin, Ireland.
- Fits very well for the 80gb iPod classic.
- Reassuringly well build, light and really clear.

Cons:

- My Sennheiser cx300 won't fit well with protective casing on. I might change iPod, but won't change the cx300 (other than upgrading to cx400 perhaps) as its a gem of a earphone. It keeps coming off (as the sleeve is ticker than the hole, and keeps pulling the pin out)
- The hold button is way too tight and hard to use. Not something I would want to try on a cold morning.

Pros:

The case is so clear that it doesn't distract or take away from the quality of your videos while viewing them. The extra layer doesn't make your ipod look bulky either. It's still sleek enough to put in the back pocket of your jeans. In fact, when the ipod is in the case it looks as though it is one unit as opposed to two seperate items. More importantly, the case does its job of preventing your ipod from getting scratched, especially if you plan on keeping your ipod in a purse from time to time.

Cons:

One thing that I noticed, since I occassionally drop my ipod in my purse, is that tiny little particles sometimes get under the case from where the dial is, so I need to slide the ipod out of the case maybe once a week to brush off the debris.

Bottomline:

The item does its job and isn't an annoying extension of your music box. I recommend it.

Can't even begin to describe how great this crystal case is in comparison on all accounts. It stays on my iPod!

The openings for the earphone cable and connector port are too small. One of my speaker has a thick earphone cable, and it doesn't connect flush because the hole is not big enough. The same story for the bottom connection opening - I bought a retractable iPod cable from dealextreme at the same time, and it doesn't fit in the opening.
