Pros: Very good even for area lamps. Follow cautions above in description

Cons: bad design of resistor choice for vehicle use.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: Use the next higher resistor value if the 5 ohms in my recommendation above is not available.
LED brightness will only be very slightly affected.

Cons: Bad design choice of resistor value for cars.

Other Thoughts: Product says a two pack. I got only one.
Not worth the fuss to request another from DX.

Bottomline: Price is reasonable for just one. If you get two you are doing fine.

Cons: Bad choice or resistor values on PCB for vehicle use.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: Just use the next higher value resistance if the value I recommend above is not available. You will be unlikely to notice the drop in brightness.

Cons: Will fail at charging voltages without protection

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: A good buy. If you cannot make up a 7.5 ohm resistor I advise, just choose the next higher value. The loss of brightness will be very little

Pros: I have not purchased this item. It is similar to other LED boards in this style offered by DX and there could well be the same problem. With proper precaution in use it should be just as excellent a purchase.

Cons: The LEDs are liable to failure at the charging voltages produced in an automobile alternator.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: The simple solution is to add a 7 or 8 ohm, 1 watt resistor in the red power wire.
Do this and all should be fine
