Pros: Small size and reasonable optics for the price
Cons: Mine came quite misaligned so that each binocular tube gave an image displaced vertically and horizontally from the other.
Binocular tubes could be seen to not quite line up.
Other Thoughts: I disassembled the tubes but could not correct alignment. Then I removed one objective lens and repositioned it. Bit tricky to do but it improved matters considerably.
Bottomline: OK for the price.

Pros: A great buy to provide light in place of incandescent or fluorescent lamps. Drawing little more than 200 mA at 12 volts it rates about 2.5 watts
Cons: Only con would be if you prefer a warm white light rather than a cool one.
Other Thoughts: Looks waterproof enough to try an outside mounting. These are the larger Superflux LEDs and they produce plenty of light.

Pros: I just connected this little gem to my stereo radio in my bus through the microphone input.
Wow! Excellent sound and no more skips going over a bump from CDs or MP3s on disk.
Love it!
Cons: No plug for DC in. I will have to fashion one to fit the battery space.
Other Thoughts: You can fill up a SD memory card with your chosen music for the week or have a bunch of prepared ones to swap to swap.
Bottomline: A great price for such a useful little item.

Pros: I like this clock. The display is easily read at the angle most likely on a bedside table.
The light remains for only five seconds which is plenty to read the display. Sturdy compact shape difficult to knock over.
Cons: It is necessary to find the little buttons on the back to use some of the alternate functions when an easy access mode button could be an improvement.
Other Thoughts: The description is incorrect. Mode does not change by rotation of the clock, however one fixed setting does allow all the modes to cycle with each touch
Bottomline: You will like this clock. The light responds to the proximity of your hand without actually having to touch the clock.
Great gift item!
Good temperature function as well.

Pros: These are decoration lights which have the LEDs flashing in sequence one at a time. It is not a strip in which all the LEDs light at once to illuminate a space.
Cons: The description confused me as other steady LED light assemblies are also listed in the flashing category.
Other Thoughts: I will probably have a play with these to see if I can turn all LEDs on at the same time to try for illumination rather than decoration.
Bottomline: A good buy at a good price if you are after LEDs in a flashing sequence.

Pros: Compact enough to fit your pocket and with good optics and plenty of light in dim conditions.
Cons: My sample came with a poorly aligned right eye ocular which will not focus to match the left. The view is still impressive as the eyes do adjust to compensate. I expect that some effort on my part will result in getting the alignment correct.
Other Thoughts: Models with a tilting bar for focus adjustment are easier to use than the rotating knob.
Bottomline: I like them, for the compact size and the excellent price for good quality binoculars.
They are not a toy, but you can buy them at a toy price.

Pros: Plenty of light from this compact board with 28 miniature superflux LEDs. A well made product and easy to use.A larger version of the similar 12 LED board.
Cons: cool white light only.
Other Thoughts: 24 of the LEDs are arranged in series of three with 120 ohm current limiting resistors. The remaining four are in series pairs with 300 ohms. This is about the best compromise possible for efficiency with 28 LEDs. Draws around 250 mA. About three watts.
Bottomline: A best buy for the most LEDs on a compact board.
All the connectors you are likely to need for an easy installation.

Pros: I have seen this product from another source and it has many advantages. Use any multiple of the three LED sections for the amount of light desired. The surface mount LEDs are wide beam so diffusing covers are not needed. Easy to adapt for 24 volts by putting two identical cut sections in series. Looks like a 150 ohm resistor, just right to protect the LEDs at charging voltages and provide good light output.
Cons: Cut sections will require soldering to the rail pads unless suitable ribbon cable connectors are used. In that case the pads would be better gold plated for reliability. Contact cement may be needed if this strip does not have an adhesive backing.
Bottomline: Lots of possibilities with this strip. Bottom of cupboards to illuminate bench tops, replace fluoro tubes in a fluoro housing. You will think of others.
Good price for 66 SMD LEDs on a strip.

Pros: Feel for the clock in the dark press top and read time on ceiling all without moving off your back
Also doubles as a good 3 LED flashlight.
Cons: A little fiddly to set up the time date and alarm.Instruction sheet could be better written.
Other Thoughts: A switch turns the coloured light display on or off. OFF is good for battery life.
Time on ceiling easy to read and lasts a few seconds, enough to read
Bottomline: Good price and a useful item. You will have fun exploring it's modes of operation.

Cons: no cons- a good product at a good price.
Other Thoughts: Put one of these on the head of each member of your household and you will not need any other lights. Just kidding but, they are that good
Bottomline: I am about to order more right now. Head band is secure and lamp sits in place and angle adjusts well and stays in place.

Pros: I have bought this item many times. Last time only the black case was available. I use other addresses to have these shipped directly to friends and family as gifts. Makes a nice surprise while they wonder who sent them.
Marvelous. Read the rave reviews of others for the same design.
Cons: Absolutely no cons at this price. Have seen them at retail to twenty times this price per unit.
Other Thoughts: This is the original with the well chosen wide beam LED for good light spread.
Bottomline: Likely to last for ages. Get some spares as it will be way cheaper than ever replacing the two cell battery if ever needed.

Cons: More a fun item than the white light from the others. Some colours might help to preserve your night vision.
Bottomline: Buy some after you try the white and UV ones.
All make great gifts at a price you can afford.

Pros: I found another use to monitor the fridge temperature in my RV.
The outdoor probe goes in the fridge and the indoor reading works as usual. You even have the record of maximum and minimum temperatures recorded to know if your food was ever at risk. Marvelous!
Cons: The slight difference in indoor/outdoor temperature reading when the probe is close to the unit, may well relate to their different total reading ranges.
Once time is allowed for the units to settle, they do well
Other Thoughts: You may find even more uses other than the intended one.
Bottomline: Good price, Get one!

Other Thoughts: Remember that thermistors in digital temperature displays need time to settle with the surroundings. Make sure clock is not in path of heating or cooling air and try the temperature reading with the light function switched off continuous
Bottomline: Another great gift item. Check out the BULKRATE and buy three at a time.

Pros: Very easy install for it's intended purpose, but I have another in mind. Use these as a simple fit in the overhead or reading lamps in a RV or boat.
Designed for efficiency, drawing about 80mA they come in at about one watt. Three or four would do to replace a 12 volt fluorescent area lamp and give similar light for quite a bit less energy.
Cons: They produce the harsher bluish white light and some prefer the neutral or warmer white. Cannot think of another con for this excellent item.
Other Thoughts: Take out the fluorescent tubes or incandescent bulb or halogen from an existing lamp fitting and stick one or more of these in their place with the supplied adhesive block. Use for 24 volts simply by wiring pairs in series.
Bottomline: If there are similar available in neutral white and warm white along with the bright bluish white of these, we have a product to suit all

Pros: This little dynamo laser and LED flashlight fits in your shirt pocket or the palm of your hand. Adequate single LED flashlight with an effective red laser pointer. Switch chooses between the two. has a wrist strap.
Cons: At this price there are none really. Switch is off in centre position, so you might leave one of the functions on in error. No problem. Just wind the crank again.
Other Thoughts: The winding folding crank handle has a smooth action and is of a size easy to wind.
Bottomline: Another product well worth the price. There are brighter flashlights, but this one gives adequate light in a neutral white colour.

Pros: These are so good I just keep buying them. This colour as good as all the others. Clever design uses battery resistance to control LED current. Squeeze for short use or turn on with switch.
Cons: None with this excellent product. At this price it is unreasonable to expect to replace the batteries. Consider the item disposable
Other Thoughts: They make great little gifts so buy lots. I have been using these for months. Expect life may be years with the kind of average use most will have.
Bottomline: Buy these while still available A great little flashlight likely to always be at hand.

Pros: Similar to other headband flashlights this one is very useful for hands free operation where light is needed. Switch chooses 2,4 or 8 LEDs. No flashing selection. Lamp section swivels to point at angle required. Plenty of light.
Cons: A little bulkier than some more compact models although the over-top elastic strap should prevent the lamp slipping down on your head.
Other Thoughts: I bought two in identical packages with identical markings. Both packages stated that LEDs were Super-Bright White. One did. The other contained RED LEDs and made the value of that one much more limited.
Bottomline: A good headband hands free flashlight at a good price provided yours is not one of the RED LED mistakes. It will be very difficult to tell which LEDs are used without opening the bubble pack.

Pros: Clever design running LED and relying on battery resistance to control brightness. LED is overdriven to be very bright as a most useful little flashlight. Over driving LED shortens life, but who cares, it should last a very long time used normally.
Cons: There are none at this price. Buy enough so that it is a throwaway if the battery runs down. It would cost you heaps more than the item to replace the battery of two button cells.
Other Thoughts: I have bought more than one hundred of these from another supplier over the last year. Make great little gifts. Likely to last for years with normal occasional use. One arrived swithched on in the post and still works fine.
Bottomline: Get these while they last.

Bottomline: Very handy tester for checking LEDs and making LED comparisons and comparing output at different current input.
