Pros: - Works fine for charging as well as data transfer - Small pack size when not used, fine for traveling - Length over all (incl. plugs) is about 79 cm
Cons: - None until now - Time will show if the plug on the PDA side has a good stress relief, so that the cable will last for long
Other Thoughts: Items like this, which means accessories for older PDA, are sometimes hard to find. I was more than happy when I discovered this item, as the HTC Himalya (this is the name the manufacturer gave it) does not use a normal mini USB plug, but a special, proprietary one. There is also a battery (model PH17B) for this PDA offered at DX, it is SKU23948 and it is working fine, too. If you get one of this older PDA, do not underestimate ist: It can run Windows Mobile 5, 6 and 6.5 without any problems - you just have to make an (unofficial) update.
Bottomline: Useful item at a very good price, get one! :-)

Pros: - unbeatable price, given that it´s including the postage fee - fits my old MDA II exactly, just like the original one - is exactly the same battery like that ones that are sold here - at this price, take one or two charged spare batteries with you on vacation or business trip, as you never know if you can recharge your device in time - running time seems to be okay with this battery - self discharge is very low, after full charge and a week without use it nearly has 95% of charge - oh well, did I mention the unbeatable price? ;-)
Cons: - none until now - we will see how the long-term quality is - should have ordered 2 of this! ;-)
Other Thoughts: - I use my MDA II for geocaching (only PDA use, no phone card inserted). For this purpose, I use a software utility to underclock the CPU, as it does not need to run at 400 MHz the whole time, so I limit the CPU to 100-300 MHz. In addition, Bluetooth is on the whole time as it needs to be connected with the external GPS receiver. With this battery, I get about 7 hours of continous use, which is a fair amount. have no idea what standby time my MDA II would have if I would use it as a phone, but I guess something around 4 days or so.
Bottomline: If you happen to get your hands on an old QTEK2020 (see the other names above, e.g. T-Mobile MDA II) with a flat battery, buy it for cheap money, and buy 2 of this nice and cheap batteries! Believe it or not, the old smartphone can easily be updated to run Windows Mobile 6.1 or 6.5, and it works just fine. Also order SKU22554 for this smartphone, very good cable! :-)

Pros: - The build quality is okay. No plastics, just stainless steel. Rivets are a bit coarse, but they do the job. - Has a key ring - Has a small bag for the belt, too - A spring holds the pliers open, this is often useful - The built-in LED lamp is bright and can be useful if you do not have another light with you, e.g. searching something in your backpack or finding the keyhole without lights at the front door (when you come back from the pub in the early morning and your wife is upset) ;-)
Cons: - As mentioned, build quality is okay, but could be better (not a real con) - The "connection ring" between the tool and the key chain is just cramped together. That looks lousy and is not very sturdy - A saw with this dimensions is useless. It works, yes, but a piece of wood you could cut into pices with the saw, you could break "over your knee" without any problems. So there is no real use for the saw.
Other Thoughts: Except for the pliers and the lamp, all the tools (and lots more) are already built-in on my trusty original swiss knife or on my L-man Wave. In a better quality. But this makes it a good addition to my existing equipment in case I do not have the "big" multitool with me (or do not want to carry it). The pliers are handy when we are geocaching and have to get a log roll out of a small cache box. :-)
Bottomline: At this price, get one. Or get a few and give them as gifts to your friends, family or business partners. They *will* like it if they are male, because all boys (no matter which age) like this kind of toys.. :-)

Pros: I was looking for a mount to equip my new cross bicycle with battery lights. Most of the battery light sets I saw where to big, to expensive or did not match my needs in one or the other way. As I do not have too much room at the handlebar (already occupied with brake grips, gear switches, trip computer, GPSr), I wanted to use a multi LED flashlight I already owned a headlight (it uses AAA batteries, but I will soon swap it for an AA flashlight), and a red, flashing 3 LED light (with 2 AA batteries) that had just a clip, no special bike mount. I want to use the Eneloop AA batteries I already have, and I normally try to avoid items with other battery types - keep it simple. :-) So I had to install the headlight somewhere else, not on the handlebar. Already had an idea, and ordered three of this universal mounts to see if they would do the job as expected and planned. Well, as you can see in the photos above (would be nice to release them now, DX reviewer), both lights are now firmly mounted on my bike, but can also be taken off in a second. And if I want to swap the headlight for an AA unit, it is done in a snap.
Cons: None until now. Let´s see how the build quality is (in the long term) with a bit of rain and UV radiation.
Other Thoughts: Could also be used to mount other items on your bike, such as tools, spare tires or even smaller water bottles, and so on.
Bottomline: If you are using your bike regularly, get a few of this. I´m shure you will have a use for them. :-) See the photo above (when released by DX revier...)to learn about the dimensions of the mount (in Millimeters, as I am metric).
