Pros: Bought this for a video project and it works a charm. No fuss, no problem; just works. I set it up with a 150 watts halogen and I although I did not use full power, it did not get too hot. Reflected light is just right for non-harsh look for my vide work. Great product!

Other Thoughts: The attachment that came with the umbrella is a bonus. It fit standard light stand very well.
Bottomline: Get it while DX carries them. Worth the effort and price!!

Pros: For approx. 5 bucks, you get a completely functional red laser module with lens, driver circuit, wired and ready to run. What more can you ask?
Cons: If DX sells higher power versions of these, like 100 mW, 200 mW or even 300 mW versions of these; wouldn't it be great!!!!
Other Thoughts: I popped out the stock laser diode in other to get the lens and module set. Put in a high powered infrared red laser diode, use my own LM-317 based driver and it works great!
Bottomline: Get it! get a bunch! Please make informative reviews, reviews under 500 characters Please make informative reviews, reviews under 500 characters Please make informative reviews, reviews under 500 characters Please make informative reviews, reviews under 500 characters

Pros: Flexible arm - this is useful it can be adjusted in any way you like; a requirement for awkward places.. Has a On/off switch on lamp head. 2 LEDs - Very bright light. * Very useful if you do not disturb others using the computer or laptop at night. - Good build quality.
Cons: Well, it can be a bit flimsy if the whole weight of the thing is just hanging off a USB port, otherwise, no problem.
Bottomline: Get it and put inside your laptop bag. It is small enough and makes a whole lot of difference when the environment is dim.

Pros: This is a device that does just it is made for. Works with no fuss. Build quality is acceptable and the device is small enought to be carried anywhere .... perhaps small enough to misplace too. Anyway, at this price, who can argue? I keep one in my mobile handset pouch so it comes handy when I need a quick charge using laptop, car charger, etc.
Cons: None so far. I was afraid it would break because when plugged into my laptop and mobile phone, they don't exactly align so I guess there will be physical stress acting on it. But so far, so good.
Other Thoughts: Great if you tight spacing.
Bottomline: If you need it, get it without hesitation!

Pros: Mini-sized, very handy in small pockets. The white LED is very bright, and is able to project a decent light in darkness.
Cons: I pry open the casing and found out that the construction is actually pretty simple. There are no resistor to limit the current, just LR44 or similar button battery powering the white LED. The forward voltage of white or blue LED is sufficient high so I guess resistor maybe omitted.
Other Thoughts: The button switch that turns on the LED actually moves the LED lead to touch the battery terminal so it was quite a simple design.
Bottomline: Cheap and good. Get it!

Pros: This is a non-fuss, thermal grease/glue just I was looking for. I need something that is able to transfer heat as well as to keep things together. I used it for keeping my 3 watt star LED to a heat sink and it worked perfectly.
Cons: Can be messy if you don't plan carefully before where and how you want to apply it but this has nothing to do with the product.
Bottomline: Get it if you need a thermal grease or glue. I also used it for my electronic componets such as mounting a heat sink to a power regulator. Comes handy if you need heat sink compound on power devices such as power FETs, etc.

Pros: Very bright white light from a tiny package. Uses 2 x CR2016 flat button batteries. Build is quite good with a solid grip. Cheap for a pack of 4. This is quite a change from the usual style key-chain type LED lights!
Cons: Have to press pretty hard for the LED to turn on. After a while, it can be quite uncomfortable.
Other Thoughts: Otherwise, it is value for money. I opened the unit up and it consists of 2 x CR2016 batteries driving th LED directly. No resistors used so it is very bright. But life of LED may suffer.
Bottomline: Get it for fun or as gifts!!

Pros: I have couple of these; works well, no hassle. Cheapest in town.
Cons: Is is a bit bulky; will not have space for 2 to be side by side on a USB extension port. Otherwise, nothing beats the price.
Other Thoughts: Get it! Get a couple of cheap SD cards and install different Linux OS and boot from the USB drive!!
Bottomline: Very happy :-)

Pros: Very string wind even powered by USB. I am very happy with it.
Cons: When powered, the base shook so much that it is constantly trying to move. Needs something to clamp it down. This is due to the powerful motor when switched on.
Other Thoughts: If you need a string USB fan, get it!
Bottomline: Very happy with it once I fix the 'moving base' issue.

Other Thoughts: Costs a fraction of what the local DIY shop is selling.
Bottomline: Great stuff. Buy it!

Pros: Nice and Handy. Great for that melting job that requires heating.
Cons: The bottom blue dial to adjust flame height broke off by itself and now I am stuck with a fixed flame. Otherwise, I love it!
Other Thoughts: Gas runs out real fast but thank God butane gas supplies is cheap and works well after I refill it.
Bottomline: Great! get it!
