Pros: Protects electronic components from static shock. Cable can extend to about over a meter in length. Good strong alogator clip at the end of the cable.
Cons: The adjustable elastic wrist strap is a bit short, but it has to be tight because you want to have the best contact possible between your wrist and the small metal plate that is on the inside of the plastic buckle.
Other Thoughts: A must if you repair computers or just have to install a new hard drive or additionnal memory module and don't want to blow the whole thing while doing it! The cable is held in place with a snap button so it can probably be replaced easily if it brakes off.
Bottomline: Its $1.80 for static protection... you can't go wrong with that!

Pros: Lets you know when you have new mail in your inbox. Can be made to work with different type of mail accounts and also with multiple mail accounts. Can display different colors based on account or number of messages. Thanx to TheHuuf's software package, it works.
Cons: The software supplied on the CD is useless and CANNOT work with this device as it is a hardware copy which dosent have the full capability of the original device.
Other Thoughts: I don't have any other toughts...
Bottomline: One of the most usefull gadgets I bought here on DX!

Pros: Has a video out and a s-video out as well as a vga pass-trough. Menu offers the usual picture controls you find on a TV (brightness, contrast, hue, sharpness etc...) Also has verttical and horizontal position and size. Usefull underscan button.
Cons: Doesnt remember image settings when you turn off your computer even when you use a power supply instead of the usb power cable. Also looses setting when your computer turns off your monitor in power saving mode.
Other Thoughts: I use it to connect my computer to my regular big screen tv (that is not a HD TV). I can watch movies or play video games (well, you could, I don't play games).
Bottomline: I like the dual video output because I'm a crazy person with 10 monitors and I always want stuff to be displayed on more than one monitor at once...

Pros: Great looking retro style desk micrpohone. Makes you feel like a talkshow host when you blabber away like a crazy person on skype. Good cable length, wide stable base and chrome finish. Quite sensitive and good clear sound, I was surprised as I ordered it just for the look on my desk.
Cons: Cable is really thin -- like earphones cable. If you ever rip it off, there are screws on the bottom of the base so it can probably be fixed easily.
Other Thoughts: The chrome finish is nice. The build quality is really good for a $4 mic.
Bottomline: I'm not so sure about the noise isolation quality of a cable as thin as this one...

Pros: Good small external usb sound card that dosent require drivers under windows xp sp3. Comes with a driver disk that adds some funcionnality.
Cons: When you use it without the included drivers, the mute and volume buttons controls the default sound card. So if this is not your default sound card the buttons are kind of useless.
Other Thoughts: I didnt want my skype phone to ring trough my computer speakers. I configured Skype to use this card for the ringer.. works great!
Bottomline: Its a good card to use with skype anyway because of the mute and volume buttons.

Pros: Its a round to flat AC plug adaptor. Its got round holes on one side and flat prongs on the other side. Use it when you have a round prongs psu or power cord that you need to plug in a standard north american AC wall outlet.
Cons: You always forget to add one to your shopping cart when you need one...thats what always happen to me!
Other Thoughts: I ordered 5 because last time I got a device with a round prongs chinese psu I had to wait a whole month for the round to flat adaptor to arrive becuase I forgot to add one to my cart..and you know you always realize that when your package arrives!
Bottomline: There is no bottom line. Well, theres one, but theres nothing on it! ;)

Pros: This novelty drinking bird is a great conversation piece -- that's for people who have nothing else to talk about.
Cons: I bought the red one and the liquid is getting kind of pink. I can see that the stuff that colors the liquid accumulates on the side of the bottom bulb. At some point I gues the liquid will be completly clear.
Other Thoughts: It can be a bit difficult to adjust the pivot point so that it keeps drinking and doesnt stop after a while (which can vary from minutes to hours).
Bottomline: There's no bottom line.

Pros: Great mini color camera for the price. Image quality is very acceptable for such a low price camera. Does not require a lot of light and has very good image when used outised in sunlight.
Cons: Some video noise can be seen in the image but it is acceptable. The little plastic box which contains the regulator will get quite hot when powered by 12 volts power supply. Works just fine using a 6 volts power supply.
Other Thoughts: The microphone is more sensitive than I tought it would be.
Bottomline: Very good camera for the price. I compared it to locally sold $60 cameras and couldnt see any difference.

Pros: Great badge to attrack attention from people. Stores many messages and has variable scroll speed. Very bright and easy to read. THinner than I though it would be. held in place with 2 magnets.
Cons: THe magnets and the little metal plate that holds it to you clothing came-off during shipping (maybe).. easy enough to fix with some glue. The magnet holder thing might not be strong enough if you move fast or are jumping aroung. Not very eay to program with those tiny buttons.
Other Thoughts: Good for atttacting attention at parties or public events.
Bottomline: If you have a business like a bar or a restaurant or are holding public event, this might be a good idea for your staff.

Pros: Good short cable to use when your usb port area is a bit cramped up or your usb device is bigger than usual and doesnt let you connect it to the usb port.
Cons: Its short, so if you need a long cable its not for you! Oh, and its blue, so if you don't like blue its not for you, too! The cable is a bit stiff.
Other Thoughts: It can also be used as a usb port saver. If you have to connect and disconnect a usb device very often from your computer, like hundreds of times a day, you might want to use one of these to save your computers usb port from damage due to excessive wear.
Bottomline: Its blue, its short, cable is a bit stiff, its cheap!

Pros: Good supply of water for your cat. Will last a day at least but you might want to change water more frequently like twice a day.
Cons: Does not accept standard north american water bottle. Bottle is a bit small if you have many cats and want to supply water for say a whole weekend.
Other Thoughts: Would be better if it accepted standard north american water bottle size so a bigger bottle can be used for a larger supply of water.
Bottomline: Might not be nough for dogs as they are bigger and also drink more than cats do.

Pros: This light is pretty strong with a good flood, enough to light up a whole section of your cars floor at once or even the whole trunk. Battery life is pretty good.. after one hour of continious use the light is still pretty strong and it dosent heat up.
Cons: There is no way of telling if the flashlight is charging or if it is fully charged. It will only fit cigaret lighter port, it will not fit power ports which are different. The lens is plastic.
Other Thoughts: I received the flashlight fully charged or so it seems. It is also well built (no loose parts) and is quite heavy for such a small light.
Bottomline: I've been using it for a couple of months now and there is no change in battery life or intensity of the light.

Pros: Very good Skype phone that looks and feel like a real phone. Big green backlit LCD display with date, time, in & out calls, call duration and Skype credit display.
Cons: The rigner is not nearly loud enough but that might be a Skype quirks. I'm using an external USB sound card as the rigner. Its not compatible with standard phones headset and handset... you can't connect a headset! Sound is very clear on the receiver's end, but the handset sound is a little bit muffled when compared to my old sku.2678 skype phone..might be because of the handset construction (I'm about to drill more holes in it).
Other Thoughts: Good construction. I opened the case and there is a little PCB inside and there is also a metal bar to make the whole thing heavier. THe standard (replacable) handest cord is a little stiff so carefull not to pull the phone off the desk/table when you use it!
Bottomline: Very good USB phone with a real size handset. Also very good speaker phone for handsfree calls. Its got all the function buttons you need to use with Skype like accessing your contacts list and it will display names of Skype contacts but will only shows phone numbers when displaying land lines contacts. Good phone buy it now! (ok, maybe not right now, but later!)

Pros: Nice lightly brushed silver metal casing that looks just like a real Zippo oil lighter. Comes in a plastic display box (good if you are reselling those in a store)
Cons: Casing not as thick as a real Zippo but still makes a nice Zippo like click sound. You don't get the metal gift box, you get a plastic display box (not so good if you want to give it as a gift).
Other Thoughts: Good quality construction, maybe better than other similar or lower priced oil lighters I bought on DX.
Bottomline: Good lighter, nice shiny lightly brushed silver metal casing. Looks and feel just like a real Zippo at a fraction of the price.

Pros: Very handy lighter to carry around on your keychain. Very small and siny it does not look like a lighter. Hold oil for a ong time because of the rubber O- ring.
Cons: Very tiny and a little difficult to light up because of its size. The small size makes it a little difficult to hold in your hand.
Other Thoughts: I received it a month ago. I filled it up with oil and used it only about 4 times and it is still full. The oil will not evaporate because of the O-ring. DO NO over tighten the cap or you will destroy the ring!
Bottomline: Great buy for 50 cents more than the price of a BIC.

Pros: Very handy cellphone charger to have in your car, laptop bag, at office or in your pocket. Can fully charge my nokia phone and can power it while the phone is in use.
Cons: Not enough phones adaptor, there should be more and also for more recent phones. The unit is supposed to have a flashing led indicating charge but it only bliked the first time I charged my phone. Never blinked again but still works perfectly. Be carefull when you use it. You have to disconnect the plug from the phone FISRT and then disconnect it from the charger. REmoving the plug from the charger shorts the connection to your phone! BE CAREFULL!!!!
Other Thoughts: Should come with more phone adaptors, and for more recent phones. Everyone I showed that hing to wants one, but it does not fit every phones. Still works with cheap dollar store batteries but recharge is much slower.
Bottomline: Order more than one !

Pros: Easy to install and comes with a bunch of software for nokia and other cellular phones. Good transfer speed even though IR transmission is always kind of slow.
Cons: Very light weight plastic construction makes it difficult to align with another device because the cable is heavier than the unit. I glued a metal washer under the round base to add some weight to it.
Other Thoughts: The USB cable is a little short. I am not using the cellphone softwares that comes on the CD. I only installed the driver in Windows XP.
Bottomline: Good product for the price.

Pros: Like a Zippo lighter at a fraction of the price. Nice kind of rugged copper finish. Sturdy construction although the hinge is a tiny little bit loose.
Cons: The striker wheel is not exactly aligned with the flint. When the flint is all worned out the is a tiny bit left.
Other Thoughts: The flint it came with is kind of cheap and will not last very long, depending on how often you use it. I suggest getting sku4063 on the same order.
Bottomline: It is the best lighter I ever owned. If you have problems and it does not light up on the first try it is probably because your flint is cheap of the whick is dirty -- pull it and cut it. Don't forget it uses lighter OIL, not butane gaz... get some before you receive your order !

Pros: Cheapest USB Hub I ever seen and bought, $1.42/port. Installed as a USB 2.0 Hub on my Windows XP computer. Comes with a 1 ampere 5 volts switching power supply (plug in type) and a short USB connection cable.
Cons: Build quality is a bit cheap. The upstream connector is very smal and the HUB disconnect itself from the computer if you manipulate the it while connecting a USB device. Anoying colorer leds on each port and a central blinking led.
Bottomline: Altough the power suppply it came with is only 1 amps, wich is not a whole lot if you want to use all 7 ports, its still better than no power supply at all. The central multi-color blinking led is kind of anoying .. put it upside down if you cant stand it ;) USB upstream cable is lilke 12 inches long.. too short.

Pros: Can be used to record video from your DVD/VCR/Cable box but unlike other capture device, can also be used as a video camera source for Yahoo Messenger or MSM Messenger. This means that you can send your DVD/VCR/Cable box video signal trough Yahoo or MSN messenger (usually you can only do that with a webcam).
Cons: Driver a bit tricky to install.
Other Thoughts: First capture device I see that can be used with Yahoo and MSN messenger.
Bottomline: Great price. Easy to use.
