Pros: Cheap and reliable.
Work perfectly with non-protected batterys, and using magnet spacers, you can charge any 3.7v battery.
Cons: Occasionally the quality drops, in different batches, but is usually sorted by the next time!
Other Thoughts: I have been buying these for years now, and generally they are very very reliable.
I think its over 300 ive bought now, and ive only had a couple faulty ones.
Their outputs have ranged between 4.10v & 4.30v, usually around 4.2v though.
The latest batches over the last year, have been putting out a solid 4.17/.18v
Bottomline: Im very happy with these and recommend them highly.
Ive done tests and left unprotected batterys charging for over 7hours after the light turns green and there have been no issues at all.
There is always someone who might get a faulty one, as it can happen, but dont let that put you off.

Pros: A very cheap and good way to hold a flashlight on your helmet.
Can also be used to hold pumps, tools etc... onto you frame anywhere.
Very light and strong.
Velcro holds on very securely.
Other Thoughts: You could use this for any size light, but it might get a bit wobbly the bigger the light, but it should still keep it secure.
I just use these for single cell 18650 flashlight.
Some use these for P7's on the helmet, but apparently others have found them a bit heavy, so maybe just single Cree flashlight are the best sort of weight for a helmet light.
Bottomline: Cant really go wrong with this.
Lots of different uses.

Pros: These are 100% reliable.
Ive have probably bought over 700 of these and i have never had one faulty battery.
The only way you can kill these is by running them empty below the recommended lowest voltage.
These get used in P7's and single Cree lights and perform really well.
Cons: Batterys are great, but price is more than the protected ones!
Should be maybe $1-$2 cheaper.
Other Thoughts: The people who seem to be giving bad reviews dont seem to actually look at what they are buying.
First off, these are obviously NOT protected, it doesn't say they are anywhere, and protected batterys come with the raised button on the positive end.
Seriously, just read and look at the pictures!
DONT BUY SOMETHING YOU CANT USE AND THEN GIVE IT A BAD REVIEW!
Bottomline: Great batterys, you cant go wrong with these, unless you're one of the above i was talking about!

Pros: Great fun.
Very stupid, but amusing.
Cheap.
Didnt smell bad.
Didnt break or come broken.
Other Thoughts: Great for giving to children to annoy their parents.
Its so stupidly funny, you could probably bring it out at partys and everyone will have a good laugh.
I guess, simple things amuse simple minds!
You could even put it under cushions/seats, so that when someone gets up it'll start screaming.
Bottomline: You have to buy it, even if you only use it a couple of times.
It'll bring a smile to everyones face.
Could be used as doggy toy.

Pros: Cheap, reasonably strong rubber.
Very useful for mounting a light on your forks as you can adjust the angle.
Will also work fine on probably any handle bar.
Ive used one mounted on the flat section off wing bars.
Cons: Use it correctly and there is none.
Other Thoughts: Ive have had a single 18650 zoom (JFT) flashlight mounted on my forks for months now, and ive used it off-road and it has held on fine.
Dont try and use big lights with these, as its not really strong enough to keep them in place.
You might get away with a single 18650 P7 type flashlight, but there are other better mounts for those.
Bottomline: Buy it if you're using smaller light.
Works great.
Ive been more than happy with it, ive ordered more.

Pros: Very reliable.
Looks good.
Constantly getting 2.5-4amp from them over time.
Cheap P7.
Strong.
Cons: Low could be just a bit brighter, but not really a con.
Other Thoughts: I think ive bought over 150 off these so far, and ive only had a couple of faulty ones that have had to be sent back.
Just make sure you tighten up the pill/led and switch when you get it, as they will likely be a bit loose.
I have just received my latest batch, and the colour is quite a bit darker, more of a gray colour than the sandy silver colour of the original ones.
Bottomline: For the best most reliable P7 on DX, get this one and you'll be happy {in my opinion}.
This comes in a black 5 mode version if you dont like this colour.

Pros: Ive gotten 3 sets over the years, and the latest one had no dead ones at all.
Very very very cheap.
For this price, i can only get one where i am.
You put them into your device and it'll work!
Cons: Zilch...Zero...Nada...Geen...Heç biri...?...?...Không ai...Tak satupun...Okenn...
Other Thoughts: Why would you not buy these if you have something that uses this type.
JUST TELL ME WHY!!!!
Bottomline: Buy them.
Even if you bought these and you got several dead ones, its still likely to be cheaper than buying locally, unfortunately.

Pros: It seem good quality and seals very well. Double zip lock and then roll over makes sure no water is going to get in at all. Very cheap way to protect your gadgets.
Cons: The opening isn't as wide as expected due to the sealing and zip lock.
Other Thoughts: The width off the item that will fit in is around 90mm and length around 120/130mm, but that all depends on how thick the item is.
Bottomline: Definitely worth buying to protect your gadgets if they might be getting wet. You may need to get a bigger one than you think you'll need.

Pros: A nice wee light.
Not as pink as the picture makes out, i would say its a darker pink/rose colour.
Seems to be well built, AA battery fits without any rattling.
You also get a small click when changing modes when the light goes out.
Seems to be HA-lll
Cons: There was no money inside it!
Other Thoughts: People seem to be put off by the colour, but i think this would be suitable for either sex.
I will get some 14500's and try them in it, should be quite a bit brighter.
Bottomline: Buy it if you like a bit of colour from your flashlight, not every likes black.

Pros: Very good at holding AA & AAA battery flashlights.
Holds securely and doesn't move due to the sticky/grippy silicon.
Will fit standard size bars and over size bars, and will also work on wing bars.
Very cheap.
Will also hold a Garmin edge 305 very well, its not come off yet!!
Cons: No cons on this, but could do with coming in bigger sizes.
Other Thoughts: Can also be used to secure other items on the bike like pump, tool kit, tools etc... or you can just use it to double up on the security of the above items.
Ive lost a £25 tool kit because the original bracket couldn't hold it in place tight enough, so now i use one of these to make sure the new one i bought doesn't bounce of the bike.
Bottomline: They come in different colours, ive bought nine so far and i have 5 black, 2 yellow and one each off red & clear.
It'd be nice to pick the colour, but at this price its a good/handy item to have, even if you dont use it on your bike, as im sure there are loads of things you could use this for.

Pros: Very bright.
Small.
You can stretch them to fit handle bars or forks.
Great back up light.
Other Thoughts: These type seem to be probably the best back up lights on DX at the moment.
Im sure that they will be waterproof too, as the only place for water to get in, is at the back which is usually sealed against the bar/fork etc... and the silicon is a good tight fit, so no water should get in.
These are slightly different than the other cheaper one.
The flashing mode goes from a few rapid flashes then a short one second break then rapid flash again etc...
I prefer that type, as it makes you more visible.
Bottomline: Good back up lights, could be used as main front light if you used 2+ off them and you didnt need to see where you are going.
You can also put these on your hubs if you want to make yourself more visible, recommended, as it does make you stand out quite a bit.

Pros: Very nice light and for a good price too.
Works with AAA batterys that you can get anywhere, and if you use a 10440 you'll get about 50% more light.
Works very well with tie on bike mount ~ sku.24369
Cons: As with most flashlights from DX, you need to check and make sure the the pill and switch are tight when you get it, as they are usually loose and just need a quick tighten, so you light may not be broken when you get it.
Other Thoughts: Get yourself some 10440 batterys along with this light, although it will start to get hot quickly when using one.
Bottomline: Buy it.
Ive bought 8 so far with more on the way.
If you're having problems with yours, use the forum, it will likely be a quick fix.

Cons: A little bit pricey compared to other bigger batterys which are cheaper.
Not really a con for me, but mine do not have protection circuits.
Other Thoughts: There is a lot of snow where i live at the moment!
Bottomline: Good powerful wee battery and a definite recommendation for people to try if you are using a AAA battery light which will take the voltage.
Buy it buy it buy it.
I have bought more, and will update on the forum if those come with protection or not.

Pros: Very nice light.
Very bright, draws around 4-5amps on fresh non-protected blue Trustfire.
Strobe is the fastest ive had yet, and will blind people in bright daylight!
Well made and solid.
Cons: Price a bit too high compared to P7's and doesn't give out a huge amount more light.
But, it is new and the price will/should come down over time when newer models come out.
Other Thoughts: I have been using this for a few months now on my bike, and not had any problems with it.
It has memory and will usually start in the last mode after a min or so.
Bottomline: If you want a single battery SST-50, you cant really go wrong with this one.

Pros: Its a great wee light. The zoom really makes this light punch well above its weight.
Because the beam is adjustable, it can actually be more useful than a P7 or similar type of light.
Most of my customers will use this as a helmet light and a P7 on the bars for flood.
If the zoom barrel is a bit stiff, you can put a tiny bit of grease on the barrel and work it in and that will loosen it up without having to strip it.
Cons: Ive bought 7 off these so far, and in everyone, the charger failed after one, sometimes two charges, some didnt even make it that far!!
The battery works, but is just a bit to long for the light 66.5/67mm.
It will still work, but it really squashes the springs and can cause occasional flickering when in use.
It also appears to have more internal resistance than my blue Trustfires.
Other Thoughts: I have made requests for DX to get these lights separately (When they first came out), but it just doesn't seem to be going to happen.
I would buy loads of these if DX sold them individually for around $10-$12, so far DX has lost over 60 light sales from me because of this.
Bottomline: It would be a 4/5 if the chargers work and 5/5 if it included a decent battery.
The runtimes are around 3hrs on high & around 50hrs on low.
These dont work with protected batterys, so dont try it.
Worth buying if you already have a charger and decent battery and if you cant find it anywhere else being sold individually.

Pros: I was a bit unsure how bright these would be, so i just bought a pair at first, now ive just received another 3 pairs as i was more than happy with them.
I would estimate these are equal to around 5watt halogen, maybe just a bit more as its hard to tell with the colour difference.
These are blue lights, so will make everything look a bit cooler, but i have no problem with that.
Cons: No cons at this price and brightness.
Other Thoughts: Looking at the other review, the 8 i have dont flicker and are very usable for me.
I use these in a room where i have ten 12v downlighters which were originally running 10watt halogens, and these have all been replaced and the only difference is the light colour and the running cost.
Bottomline: Cheap enough to buy and see for yourself.
Recommended if you like the blue colour or want a change from the yellow of the halogen lights.
I will update on the forum if there is any problem in the future.

Pros: Having tried just about all the other wee tie on lights/back up, in my opinion these are the best.
They are a bit bigger than the usual one's, thats because of the lens which really helps to magnify the out put.
It has a nice solid click on/off switch.
It only has two modes, flashing and steady on.
Im guessing the run time is similar to other smaller lights, as this uses two batterys instead of one.
Cons: Water can get into it though if the rain is heavy enough, or if there is direct spray coming from your wheel, as it will eventually force a few drops through!
You can seal it up by running a bit of silicon around the edge between the clear plastic and the white plastic, and this does the job.
Bottomline: To sum it up -
These are better overall than any other wee light on DX so far.
Get these and dont waste your money on any of the others.

Pros: Having tried just about all the other wee tie on lights/back up, in my opinion these are the best.
They are a bit bigger than the usually one's, thats because of the lens which really helps to magnify the out put, and because of this, these are the only one's i would consider using maybe 3 as the main back light.

Pros: Very good and cheap way of getting into the world of close-up photography. Fits camera perfectly.....nice hard case to keep it safe...no marks on the glass anywhere....
Cons: Not a con, but it did take me a few goes to figure out how to work it!!!!!!!!!! Im not daft, but i thought i could use it at my 28mm setting, but no, it needs to be used at the telephoto end. Which now means that i have to buy a tripod now so i can get a steady shot.
Other Thoughts: Im now thinking about getting another one to see if they would work together?! Will ask the experts before i buy it though.
Bottomline: Very nice....solid filter....i highly recommend this to anyone getting into macro photography

Pros: Small..not heavy..comes in very handy........ Very bright for the size of it...............
Cons: No cons as of yet.............. Ordered 7 packs now and all work fine....... Not waterproof, but thats not a big draw back
Other Thoughts: I give one out with each flashlight i sell and so far everyone is happy with their wee surprise ..............
Bottomline: Very cheap....very handy....can use as a small torch/flashlight in the pitch black.....good to have a switch that will keep it on, so you can work on things hand free with the light in your mouth...

Pros: Good helmet light for MTB'ing or road riding. Only draws .50amps from a 18650, so you'll get around 5hrs run time. Feels solid. Looks good.
Cons: Could do with being just a bit more powerful with a 18650. Maybe a low would be nice too, but its not worth it anyway when running a 18650!
Other Thoughts: Nice simple light. Nothing can really go wrong with it.
Bottomline: Well worth buying....solid....cheap.... I dont have it any more as my mate bought it of me, so have ordered another one, thats how much i like it

Pros: small, light, attaches almost anywhere, bright, should be more water proof than the other one, as the switch is under the plastic. Half the price of a single similar light over in the UK.
Cons: cant think of any at this price
Other Thoughts: i would recommend these over the other ones because of the switch and as these also use the bigger batterys, so should last longer
Bottomline: shame it took so long for DX to get this light, i could have done with some of these a while ago. DX- whats with the 500 characters? Its a tiny 3mode bike light, how much can you say about that!!!

Pros: Holds the light very well. I have used several lights with this from a C2 up to a WF-600. It held the 600 right back at the switch and it was fine, but just in case i used a rubber band as a back up (don't fancy that falling into front wheel!). I have also used them in a mtb race and there was no problem.
Cons: Lights with square centre can be a bit of a problem but you can still secure them ok with or without a rubber band
Other Thoughts: It would be good if they could come up with a helmet mount using a bracket like this
Bottomline: buy it you've got nothing to lose

Pros: Will last around 4hrs on 18650 2500mah. Slowly dims out. Great spill and good spot.
Cons: Battery (18650) rattles about a bit and is possibly the reason for the intermittent light sometimes. This only happened on my bike and i used a couple of magnet spacers and it helped a bit. I have now wrapped tape around the battery to make a snug fit, will see how it goes.
Other Thoughts: Perfect for a bike light because of spill and spot. Just aim the spot about 20-30feet in front of bike and the spill lights up the in-between. Used this tonight and i could keep my sunglasses on while cycling along dark country roads (just a test i do to see how good a light is!).
Bottomline: Buy 1, get a pack of 2 batterys, charger and bike mount (not the plastic one,the rubber one) from DX and you have a bike light for around $46 or £23 which if you take the spare battery with you will give you a minimum of 8hrs light. You will pay 10 times that for a similar manufacturers specialist bike light!!! I'm going to buy another 3 or 4 for friends.
