Pros: - The build quality of this cam is amazing. The pen feels solid and is great for writing, too.
- I received a 2 GB unit, not a 1 GB as advertised.

Cons: - NO manual!
- LED functions not described anywhere (see other thoughts)
- NO instructions for setting date and time (see other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: Some instructions that REALLY should have come with the item:
a) Setting date and time for video stamp
1. Edit a .TXT file, as: 2008-05-18 10:08:28 (set this to the current time, check carefully to use the correct format.
2. Rename the txt file as userconfig.txt
3. Insert the pen to your computer, copy userconfig.txt to the root of the U_DISK of the pen.
4. Remove the pen from your computer, power off the pen, then power on, now the time will be set.
5. When complete, the time will be saved forever.
b) Operating
Press button once (shortly): LED turns yellow = standby.
Press again (shortly), LED turns blue (after about 1 sec) = recording.
Press again (shortly) = turns yellow again (standby).
Press and hold for about 4 secs: LED goes off (turn of from standby).
c) Charging
while connected to usb, LED flashes yellow = charging. When LED stops flashing and is yellow continiously = fully charged.
d) Playing with the firmware
In case you are into reverse (software) engineering and feel like playing with the firmware: While Pen is off press and hold the button. Insert the pen into your computers PC while still holding the button. Now three (!) drives will show up. One is the data volume, the other two are for the firmware. The media chip uses AkResData.Bin and magic.bin . In case you are feeling adventourus to modify anything, DO MAKE A BACKUP OF THOSE FILES before!

Bottomline: at under 50 USD, this is one amazing buy! It comes with 2GB, not 1 as advertised, the build is great!
Mine came in a shiny black version, much nicer than the depicted silver one.
