Pros:

works really well out of the box. Recognised right away by my PC.
comes with Backtrack in the box :)
pretty powerful for the size of the thing.
picked up heaps of new networks in my area that i never saw before.

Cons:

antenna included isnt that great, but thats always the case with these things. easy to get a better one if you want.
price a bit high when i bought it, but better now.
plastic feels a bit cheap, but it still works fine.

Other Thoughts:

really fun for messing around with in backtrack.

Bottomline:

was one of the better adapters available on here when i bought it, but im sure there are better ones available now. Still happy with my purchase.

Pros:

super useful! Can be used to record from composite or s-video or to turn your PC into an extra monitor for watching videos or playing games.
The inclusion of PAL60,NTSC433 is extremely useful.
easycap is recognised by most video capture programs

Cons:

dont really like the included software, but I didnt buy it for that so not a big deal for me.

Other Thoughts:

if you are using this as a monitor, the audio will lag quite a bit if you are trying to listen with your PC speakers. To fix this i just plugged the audio directly to some external speakers rather than running thru the easycap. You could put a splitter on to record and watch at the same time if you wanted. (good idea for capturing game footage)

Bottomline:

if you want to capture/watch VHS, games, TV or anything else on your PC, I cant think of anything out there that is this good at this price.

Pros:

cheap as id imagine something like this could be.
the included instructions guided me through the process quite effectively.
Saved my girlfriends old ipod and made me look like a superhero.

Cons:

tools not that great and broke while i was using them. That said, they eventually did the job and not like ill need to use them again. Dont really care as i bought this for the battery, not the cheap plastic tools.

Other Thoughts:

took a while to install but that more a problem with the ipod design than the battery.

Bottomline:

if your old ipod is dead in a drawer somewhere, pick this up! $5 to save your several hundred dollar investment would be well worth it.

Pros:

Works really well!
The Supercard software is really easy to use.
Nice that it uses a SD card so you dont have to rely on a battery to save your data. Much more reliable in the long run.
Also has a few built in emulators for NES and GB that work great. More recent versions are now available, but its nice that they are included.

Cons:

have had the few odd game that would not work properly (Go Go Beckham!). Sometimes you have to use a different save file other than what the Supercard program spits out to get it going right.
Some SD cards that i tried did not work with it. Not really sure why.

Other Thoughts:

I only have used this with GBA games and have not tried DS.

Bottomline:

For playing GBA games this works great. Worth getting if you can.

Pros:

it is what it is. Well built and fits nicely in the storage slot.
nice that you get 2 just in case you lose another one.
Super cheap so no need to give it a second thought.

Cons:

the pointer has a little seam on it which might scratch if you arnt careful...but I haven't had any problems with it. Just buy a screen protector if you dont have one already so save you headaches later on.

Bottomline:

great price for a now hard to find item. If you have a DS there is no reason not to buy this. Gives you a piece of mind knowing you have a spare.

Pros:

Works great in New Zealand with Freeview
amazingly cheap compared to what you can buy in stores over here
EPG works well for showing current program info and if you use the right software, you can download more guide information further into the future. (note: this might only be the case in NZ as only Freeview branded receivers can have the full 7 day program guide).
Saved me heaps of money on TV fees!

Cons:

the included software never worked properly for me (so i just used VLC instead). There is pleanty of DVB-T software out there that works great with this product, so might be worth looking into something else.
The included antenna isnt that great, but I didnt really expect to use it. Im pretty close to our broadcast antenna so it worked OK. That being said, the tuner has a standard antenna connection so you can hook up any old UHF antenna.
some of the HD (h.264) channels go a bit sluggish for me, but thats probably just a software issue
could be a bit daunting to set up for someone who isnt technically minded.

Other Thoughts:

I tested this using XP and Vista so your results may vary. Apparently the Windows 7 Media Center works really easily with this product (but not for me using Vista in New Zealand).

Bottomline:

it works well if you know what you are doing, but might be a bit too much work for the average user. For the price its worth giving a try.

Pros:

super cheap, good quality and it works as described. would be hard pressed to find anything cheaper. Also comes in a handy tube for easy use.

Cons:

nothing! works great as described above.

Other Thoughts:

im not an expert on soldering in the least, but this stuff did the trick for what little ive done.

Bottomline:

as i said, i really dont know much about soldering, or about the quality variances between solder, but this stuff did the job. If you do need some solder, i cant see any good reason for not buying this right now.

Pros:

super cheap! doubt you could find one cheaper anywhere else! also comes with a mini screwdriver which would have been worth the price on its own! Highly recommended if you need an extra..

Cons:

doesnt last quite as long as the original DS battery, but i didnt really expect much. as a spare/replacement it does the job quite well!

Other Thoughts:

if you have an old DS lying around, this would be well worth the spare change to get it going again.

Bottomline:

not too much else to say. if you still own an original DS like me, buy these up while you still can. Thinking i might buy another before they all run out.

Pros:

amazingly bright little flashlight. didnt expect it to be this good when i ordered it. perfect accessory for your keys when you just need a little light to help see or find something

Cons:

first one i got didnt work, but DX was great in shipping out another one with no problems!
Handle feels like it could snap at any second

Other Thoughts:

the first one i got was silver and the second was black. would be a nice option if you could choose the colour you wanted, but they are both nice and go well with pretty much anything. not sure if there are other colours or not

Bottomline:

if you need a little keychain light, dont hesitate and get this one ASAP! no need for finding little expensive batteries and you know it will keep on going.

Pros:

excellent little knife! not sure what other reviewers got, but mine is exactlly as pictured. even had the little ring to attach a lanyard or keychain to.
feels like a solid build quality for such a price.

Cons:

i only ordered 1!
came in a crappy cardboard box that had fallen appart by the time i got it (not a big deal as ther was no scratches or damage done

would be nice if it had a case, but you arnt paying for one so thats no problem.

Bottomline:

if you are lookin for a good little knife on DX for cheep, look no further. a great, compact knife

had a similar transmitter/charger to this that was stolen, but this one is much better!
ability to use any band is great for use in different areas/countries
makes it easy to tune into a station that will be best for you
usefull if you dont have an iPod as it has a line in cable as well (usefull for laptops...dvd players..)
great that it charges iPods as well
also a USB port for charging USB devices

Cons:

doesnt turn on automatically when plugged in
sometimes looses station settings
gripps could have been bigger (iPod sometimes seems loose..like it could fall off)

Other Thoughts:

for the number of different uses this devices has, its a great value and usefull for anyone! can be used with pretty much any car and stereo no matter how old

Bottomline:

if you need a transmitter, this is a great choice for anyone.

Pros:

another great set of funky little gifts from dealextreme. the chocolate bar is the best of the bunch..very realistic!

Cons:

octopus had lotsa little plastic flakes hanging off it. some of them had little black marks on them as well. salmon on sushi feels like its going to fall off.

Other Thoughts:

just mentioning that i recieved the 3 different ones pictured. sometimes with this site, that doesnt always happen. still think its odd that they put a chocolate bar keychain in with this lot!

Bottomline:

cute and funny gift for a pretty cheep price. note: do not taste like the real thing

pretty cool little dishes that look somewhat realistic. much like the display food at some resteraunts.
i got a bowl of rice, bowl with dumplings and a bowl with shrimps and noodles.
the plastic is very durable
nice little clips to take off the strap if you want to.

Cons:

straps dont seem that strong, but i guess since they are for cellphones, you cant use much else.

would be nice if you could request which ones you wanted, but im just glad that i didnt get 3 of the same one.

Pros:

works great for me sofar on all my North american gagets that were only 110-120v
currently in New Zealand and it works fine.

Cons:

you do need a converter to fit to the outlet, but you would need one anyways as there are several different types and it would be hard to pick one. i already had one and it works perfect.
also, when pluging into the transformer, some North American plugs cant fit (when there is the one prong that is slightly larger than the other. a big mistake.

Other Thoughts:

scared me a bit when i read that it was only 220V to 110V, but it actually converts any power range from 220-240v and downgrades it to 110-120V.

Bottomline:

if you are travelin and you need to use your 110-120v stuff, then this is a great, all in one solution to go for. just one purchase needed rather than several different universal adaptors for each device.

Pros:

super easy to use
works great on my older NDS
in box just as pictured
good length of cable (not too long or too short)

Cons:

nothing. does what you expect for a great price

i havent tried the NDSL input yet, but im sure that it works just as good.
got it because im travelin around and my charger that came with my DS isnt on universal voltage ratings for the country i am in. this is a great solution for anyone in that position. takes up alot less space than outlet charger

great product that lets you charge it anywhere you have USB ports.....which is pretty much everywhere now. even airplanes have them! great if you want to pack lite.

dissapointed to recieve 2 blue octopus rather than one pink and one blue

seems to be the concensus between me and my friends that have the edge that it is the best card on the market in terms of price and performance. downloading the appropriate firmware to my micro sd its as easy to use as dragging and dropping the files you want to use. even the box it comes in is cool!

Cons:

umm....the fact that i didnt order one sooner! this thing is great!
the micro sd does stick out a tiny bit, but not so much that its a big issue. it fits snug like it should.

Other Thoughts:

if you want a way to play DS and other games with emulators, then get it. it works like a charm.

Bottomline:

if you are in the market for a card, then look no further. i bought mine when it was $25.29 and it was a deal at that price.

thought it would be alot more substantial in terms of thickness of the padding but you get what you paid for.
zipper is ok, could be better

perfect fit for my 15.4 inch HP pavilion dv6000.
great for those who travel and move around alot
alot safer than a regular carrier laptop bag
small enough to fit anywhere where you would normaly store your laptop, doesnt take up much more space
