Subject: DXisBest : Found very different firmware on 4gb

I found the same firmware with 7 odd files.

I notice that :
1. all the 2 system drive using FAT
2. Data Drive is using FAT32
3. this is using "Anyka AK3225" chipset controller. this is usually being use as a controller for Portable Multimedia Player (PMP). like the one being use in the "IPOD PMP clones" from china
4. on Folder SYSTEM the profile.dat, when I opened with notepad it start with "PMP MLC V3.1.7"

I try to overwrite the AkResData.bin and copy magic.bin, delete the rest. the pen only show yellow LED. never goes to blue when the button is press.

Fortunately the 3 drive mode still works after a reset. so recopy the original bring it back to life again

Question :
does the ones u have using FAT32 or FAT on the data drive?

looking at some MP4/PMP/MP3 forum.
AkResData.bin -> is the bootloader
Magic.bin -> is Operating system

I was hoping we can reverse engineer the magic.bin.

Me, thinking, if the camera software module works like the one in camera, there is must be a way to reconfigure the resolution or the compression audio and video codec to get better result.

I mean, what's changed in that firmware, and what is the way the change codec, framerate, audio compression, etc?
