THe one I received is slightly different to the specs in that it uses a Trident TM5600 chip rather than a EMPIA EM2880. TV tuner chip is the same though (XC3028)

Some customers are writing that this device is just analog, but XC3028 is supposed to support dvb-t:

Can anyone tell how this work?
Do the customers get different kind of tuners?

Wikipedia tells that support for XC3028 has been added to the 2.6.25 Linux kernel. Do this device from DE work under Linux?
