I believe he means digital terrestrial (broadcast) radio, not satellite.
Just like there are digital tv signals there are digital radio signals.
Not sure what they use in DVB-t areas, but in N.A. we have either HD radio or DAB
I don't believe this device receives either. It's often a very different frequency range than FM, which is often received by tv tuners as it's smack in between VHF and UHF, so a device that receives signal from both of those ranges can use the signal in the middle (FM) for a radio tuner as well.
