DX Store Credit can be used to
• 1. Pay for the entire order
• 2. Add items to an order
• Pay for part of 1 item (you're purchasing 1 item with a combination of cash and DX Store Credit)

1. Use Store Credit To Pay For All Or Part Of The Order
• Illustrated instructions http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/5285/storecreditrefund.jpg

• Purchase your items and checkout and pay for the order like normal (i.e. Paypal)
• Click this link http://services.dealextreme.com/forms/StoreCredits.aspx
• Enter the order number that has the store credit into the top small text box
• Enter the new order number and "I want to use my store credit to pay for my entire order" into the large bottom text box
• DX will issue a Money Refund for the amount of store credit used. Refunds usually takes 4-5 business days.
• Note: you can combine all your store credits together and use them to pay for an entire order.

2. Adding Items With Store Credit
• Illustrated instructions http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/4861/12336840922950vu3.jpg

• Click this link http://services.dealextreme.com/forms/StoreCredits.aspx
• Enter the order number that has the store credit into the top small text box
• Find an existing unshipped order and enter the order number into the large bottom text box.
• Write "Please add these items with my store credit"
• DX will issue a cash refund for the amount of store credit used. Refunds usually takes 4-5 business days.

Questions
• Store Credit is only visible in the indvidual CSE Form that gave the credit. It is not listed in My Account and no confirmation emails will be sent

• Paypal has a 60 day limit on automatic refunds. Refunds issued within 60 days will include all Paypal fees. Refund issued after 60 days won't include Paypal fees. Refunds can also can given in DX Store Credit. Store Credit refunds will be for the full order amount

Yes. After you contact DX they will refund your money and use your credit instead.

This seems completely backward that you have to purchase the items again and then wait for DX to credit you back??? DX already owes the money. I wonder how long it takes them to credit you back then? Weeks? Months? Years? Never? One more way to make things difficult.

I believe its just like any other store credit, so on your NEXT purchase the credit will be applied to that item.

One quick question. I didn't use the store credit before, I've already made a request, putting the older order number (the one that generated the credit) in the first field, and the new order number on second field. Is that right or it's the other way around?

You're correct

IMO, partial refunds which DX claims cannot be issued by paypal should be given in the form of DX points. This way a customer doen't have to search for old service tickets to get his store credit
Also, DX should allow a customer to make payment using DX points.
Maybe use coupon codes for redemption. For example, to use 10 points we can use DXP10, for 123 points DXP123 and so on

Hi there,I think your post may have come to me inadvertently, this is Samlovesfrodo, anyway,I've never had a problem getting a cash refund from Paypal, under any circumstances, even up to 2 years, without any valid docs!

@Sam : Not really. I once sold an item on ebay and had to issue a partial refund. For some reason PP won't allow that. So, I just sent the money seperately instead of as a refund. PP has different policies for different regions and it is hard to be sure of what is applicable for a particular order as DX has customers from all over the world
