** In our tests we found out that there is a slight glitch in the mode switching mechanism. When the light is turned on for more than a few seconds, if you quickly turn it off and turn it back on again to switch mode, it doesn't switch and stays in the same mode. However if you then quickly turn off and on again, then it switches mode. This is probably due to the way the mode switch circuit and the memory are connected. The state memory probably has higher priority than the mode switch circuit (thus the memorized last position overtake the mode switching action). We have already notified the factory to have this fixed in future shipments.

Other than that minor glitch, both mode switch and mode memory functions. If you stay in one mode for a few seconds and turn the light off, the light will come back to the same mode when it's turned on again. The modes also work (with the above-mentioned glitch). A work-around to the glitch is to quickly on/off cycle the light two times so that the mode memory is cleared and the light will switch mode.
