This is a cool light with IR feature (activated by flipping the switch at the back that toggles between IR/Night Vision and Normal modes).

When using IR mode, no light is required to operate as 4 of the 8 LEDs starts to emit invisible IR light for illumination.
. 
One problem I have to mention here is that it's got a 7 to 8 inch flexible neck that you can bend. But in reality you can't really bend it too much because the webcam loses its balance very easily. Its base just isn't heavy enough to keep it in place. A workaround for this is to tape the webcam to a surface so it doesn't fall.
